Synopsis: "Gotrek and Felix race to the dwarf hold at Karak Kadrin, finding it besieged by one of the grand armies of Chaos under the command of Warlord Garmr. When King Ungrim Ironfist speaks of the legendary 'Road of Skulls' and of the hated foe's attempts to open a portal into the Realm of Chaos, Gotrek senses that a great doom awaits him - though it may not be the one he would choose for himself. As the king's own son leads his army of Slayers to fulfil an ancient prophecy, it seems that Garmr's hour of victory may be at hand..."

Oh boy hahaha, Gotrek stun over canto fight or flight decision was hilarious 😂 I'll give one thing to the Unsworn. He knows how to make an exit,oh man Canto to bad your not bloodthirsty of the group but your the smartest, and a lovable coward that is fine with me and amusing.and Felix leap of faith was also a funny situation itself but what "I" always find interesting is Gotrek's engineer guild past it's a great treat to hear about a little more about Gotrek's mysterious past,as for
Garmr he's a half done job man
I figured he would stay around
To finish the job on the great hold but his boredom and decision to leave it in the hands of Canto, is questionable but
The Unsworn. is someone capable, that's if he stop running

Haha, as with novel part 2, previously, I like your blunt but not-entirely-stupid “What!?” that Rulf voices more than once towards a fellow thrall to Chaos, GDN.
I was amused by Schaefer's soothsayer's prescience before his cranial bisection. Now that's the way to introduce Gotrek to an invading army serving the will of the Chaos Gods. To hear tell of a Chaos warrior leader scrambling and flailing like a panicking peasant girl is also funny, but makes me yearn for Canto's end that much sooner.
Gotrek and Felix, Chaos pound dog “catchers” for hire. Elevator exhiliration contributes to never a dull moment in your travels, Jaeger...who would want to collect dust, secure in some city of the Empire, eh? Thank you very much, Narrator, for this section about homicidal animal control and tomb raider-spelunking with the two wanderers. Hurry up, weekdays, to get us to the continuation of this novel. There are beasts to kill. In the meantime, be merry GDN and have an awesome and healthy day, every day.
