I was thinking I would buy two, one for a couple of flash lights, batteries, candles and lighters, the other for a first aid kit for the car. You mentioned seed packets.....guess I'll have to get 3 boxes!
Depending on your vehicle, the toolboxes fit under the seat to hold tools, emergency supplies, rope, bungee cords, paracord, ratchet straps, plastic bags, etc. They are not heavy duty, but they are good enough.
I sure did enjoy this video. I know the money situation is right. But with all the shortages going on we have to keep on trying. Dollar tree is planning to hike up there prices soon. Friends we need to try to get our things now.. It's time to get prayed up and prepped up. God bless you all and your families... Thanks for sharing your time...
Be sure to watch the sizes on some of the items and cost compare to places like your grocery store. Dollar Tree is carrying smaller sizes for more money on some things. We’ve gotten some things at our grocery store at a better price especially if there’s a sale on it.
Great idea to use the little tool box for first aid kit and another for candles. Also I have been looking for something to store batteries in. Will look for those at my Dollar Tree.
Just a frugal tip: Most grocery stores have the anti-bacterial wipes when you walk in to wipe off your cart handle for customers to use. I like to take a couple when I leave the store too. After you put your groceries in your car, put your cart in the corral, then wipe your hands with those anti-bacterial wipes and throw them away in the bin provided by the cart corral. I like to wipe my hands before I touch my own steering wheel and door handle. You never know who has been in the stores, touching carts and products that is carrying around some crazy virus. Why use up your own stash, when they are free at the store entrance.
Like the little tool box, that can be used to store a lot of things. Might make a little sewing kit for my granddaughter. The little wound care kits are great but they often don't have enough first aid tape so I always get extra and add to the boxes especially if we give them to friends and family. Good advice to have backups to scissors, can openers and other things in case one breaks, need manual openers of all kinds and several of them. Bought some of the cherry pie filling but should have checked the label since I saw it has a lot of high fructose corn syrup, other corn sweeteners and red dye #40 so those who have certain allergies or sensitive to the artifical colors please be sure to check labels, including Prego. Have some family members who are gluten intolerant and you wouldn't believe how many things you wouldn't guess have wheat flour or starch in them. Some of these products even from the big companies might taste good but might not be a good healthy choice if you can choose something without the additives and GMO ingredients. I think the food companies are sending some of their food and drug products to Dollar Tree that aren't selling well because people will buy thinking that it is cheaper than the grocery stores but we've found a lot at Dollar Tree that is higher than the other stores. The canned vegetables for $1.25 at DT have been higher than our regular grocery store - we have been able to get some including canned tomatoes on sale and use the store digitial coupons and save at least 20 - 40 cents over Dollar Tree prices.
I used to always buy the coconut oil, but I haven’t in a while. I need to get some and I love all the other supplies you got! 😊 “I need my coffee” yup I agree with that lol
My Dollartree had 3 oz candles in a mason jar with lid. The mason jars were a score as very expensive to just buy the little jars for making homemade salve like with calendula flowers for example.
My mom made those years ago and we still have a couple around. Mom has been gone for over 20 years and I have a tree top angel she made as well, which will go on the tree this year.
I get my freezer and storage bags at Walgreens. They go in sale for around 2.79 and buy 1 get 2 free. I got a large pack of tea light candles at Dollar General in the Christmas section for $5 but they were buy 1 get one 50% off. The backs had 32 in each ine
Lol, yep she didn't get any this time. My family thinks I am crazy. I have a small plastic container filled with matches. We don't use them very often. But, I am hoping to start using the outdoor grill more.
Funny I rarely wash my hands after a shower morning and night and I never get sick Build your immunity That’s why our parents told us go play outside in the dirt.
I am adamant about cleaning our hands after shopping, and esp before we eat. There are all kinds of viruses, MRSA and all sorts of nasties out there. I get the 50-wipe tubs of wipes and pour a little alcohol in it to get about everything out there! Good haul. I always find preps at Dollar Tree.
I live on the West Coast. I was really bummed when I found out that our DT doesn't carry the same as yours. So I had to find another place to get headlamps. I had to pay $14.98 for a pack of 2.
Would like to watch you put together the little tool box for candles, lighters, etc.......Not sure how to put one together. Tho i use lots of candles just not sure how to put a box together. My dollar tree doesn't carry incense anymore so no way to use that. I thìnk that fresh sweet potato's would be better without all the sugar in the canned of this & other canned items. What do you use 2 1/2 gal bags for ?
My daughter and grandchildren live 20 miles from me due to safety reasons. They had to start all over from scratch with nothing to their name. My family and I brought or mailed all kinds of things for rhem to use. This last month November, I went through my house and grabbed everything I thought they could use. I grabbed a box of sticky mouse trap paper 2" x 2." When I got to their apartment, they all told me they saw a mouse running across the floor. I surprised them with the mouse paper I brought. My daughter insisted the sticky paper belonged on the floor because that's where they saw the mouse. I said it goes on the countertop or you might as well throw it out. I cleaned the kitchen countertops and staged 2 sticky mouse papers on 2 different countertops; one in plain view, and the other behind a utensil holder. We all went to bed. Along about 2am, I heard a bunch of noise in the kitchen and I knew from my angle no one was up. I just smiled and didn’t get out of bed. My daughter got out of bed and turned on the lights. The next morning, she showed me the mouse on sticky paper that was behind the utensil holder. That was the fastest I have ever caught a mouse; no mess to clean up.
Some very good ideas and reminders. I had planned on checking ours out tomorrow anyway. Now I know some things I need to look for. I love sweet potatoes also. How do you use your canned yams?
I have a new DT opening up in January. It will be the closest one to me. YAY! It's only about 15 mins Hoping to find a lot of things you turned me on to that haven't been here in a LONG time. Great haul!!! I was shocked. You forgot MATCHES!! 😅🤣😂
Ok... jinni... There's a definite pattern in your comments for this video.... WHERE'S THE MATCHES!!! Your followers have you pegged!!😂😂 Great video as always. God bless. Hope the last round of flooding in your area has gone down & this next round of storms are gentler than they are predicting. 🙏🙏🙏
Peanut butter is one of the only things that my kids are really picky about, Skippy is all they will eat... I've even tried tricking them and putting a different brand in the Skippy jar, but they wont have it. LOL
So sorry for my misspellings. I've got chubby thumbs and a small keyboard. I'd rather blame my keyboard. Lol. In my comment I said I know money is right. I meant to say money is tight... Sorry friends.
Oh no, no matches. I am so sad, lol. Loved the video. I like the medical stuff. And what you said about WD40 and duct tape reminded me of my childhood. Love it. You are great. Thanks.
Those little tool boxes are perfect to store seed packets. The DT sized seed packs fit perfectly on their sides and it holds a bunch of seeds!!
I was thinking I would buy two, one for a couple of flash lights, batteries, candles and lighters, the other for a first aid kit for the car. You mentioned seed packets.....guess I'll have to get 3 boxes!
I never would have thought of that for seeds … that’s a great idea
That’s a great idea!!!

@@normakraus9411 For seed envelops, I use old 3.5" floppy disk holders -- if you can still find them. I also use a small Nesquik plastic containers.
Using the condiment bottles can be used for eye wash for emergencies to flush eyes or flush out wounds

I remember the five dollar hauls. Now it's fifty. Shows how fast things have gotten out of hand
Perfect size coconut oil to keep in bathroom as great moisturizer , especially under makeup
I use a big jar, but put it in those tiny Tupperware containers. Then you can toss them.
It’s a great makeup remover, too!
We use the little packs of lights in our home.My wife loves them & they are very Functional & Decorative.
great idea to use the clothespins to hold a bag on a bucket!!!
Those Christmas lights are electric i just plugged a set in.
The back patches are also great when you have a cold. You can cut in half and stick it on your chest, helps with congestion and stuffy sinuses.
Wait a minute! I’d Jinne just do a Dollar Tree haul and not get matches?!? I think that’s a first! Lol 😂
I made a list of your haul. Good reminder for stuff i need and havent thought of. Great haul
What , No matches 😱😂
Thanks Jinnie, you had a few items that I never thought to pick up. I was shocked you didn't have any matches this time...😁
No matches ? No lighters?😂
Thank you for the good ideas.
Love your haul videos
Great idea to use the little tool box for first aid kit and another for candles. Also I have been looking for something to store batteries in. Will look for those at my Dollar Tree.
I have used some of the clear shoe boxes from Dollar Tree to store some of my backups in. I actually prefer the shoe boxes with locking lids.

I was waiting on the matches. Love your hauls.
Great haul! If you have recipes for your condiments, could you share or perhaps do a video sometime? Thanks for all you do to keep us informed.
Hi Jinne, I went to town today and went to Dollar General. Their Christmas wrapping paper, gift boxes and bows were so inexpensive.
Yes, we love our local DG, especially the $1 aisle.
@@Tambryl I just love both of my dollar stores. My father had the cheap gene and I come by it honestly. I get tickled when I can save money.
Love your Dollar Tree hauls!! Merry Christmas to you and your family!!!

You jogged my memory on a couple of items I need. Thank you for sharing.
Nice haul! I really like $Tree for household stuff.
I grabbed the Apple filling, cherry filling and pumpkin. I make hand pies with the apple and cherry. And the pumpkin cupcakes.
I like the canned Prego Alfredo as white sauce for pizza.
My Dollartree had 3 oz candles in a mason jar with lid. The mason jars were a score as very expensive to just buy the little jars for making homemade salve like with calendula flowers for example.
Whata HAUL!! Nice!
You had a really good haul!
You can make little reindeers out of the clothespins to hang on the Christmas tree
We made those growing up in the 1960’s ❤
My mom made those years ago and we still have a couple around. Mom has been gone for over 20 years and I have a tree top angel she made as well, which will go on the tree this year.
Great haul. Love these videos. Thanks.
I was going to talk bad about the mouse traps but I think I had bad luck because of the other animals roaming at night
Loved the video but was expecting to see matches too. Lol Keep them coming
Great choices on the DT haul today. I need to get back to my store again
Never can find some of the nice Things you find Palm Beach county Florida, $tree stuff is not the same… have a great holiday.❤
Great haul. We never get that skin glue stuff here. Gonna run by Dollar Tree tomorrow and see what I can find good...take. God bless you and yours.
Many operating rooms now use the skin glue for closure of small wounds instead of stitches! The wounds heal nicely. ❤
@@suzybailey-koubti8342 I just had a total knee replacement and they used it there..
Nice haul! When I finish my soy sauce and Worsteshire sauce I'm keeping the glass containers.
Put a rubber band around the top of your gloves. They help from letting water seep onto your hands.😊
At that price, I would have cleared the shelf of that A1 sauce. 😁
I love the Columbia pasta. And some of the varieties are still 20 oz.
Great hall keep up your great videos God bless you 🙏 and yours
The last few times DT, been slim but last week I finally found several item's spent $22.00 it's been a hit or miss of late.
I'm giving a fully loaded first aid kit as a gift to someone, added a few items to the store bought kit
Great idea
Beautiful haul from Dollar Tree and many things.
Thanks for sharing, I always enjoy your Dollar Tree stuff.
Thanks again. 👍🙏💫❤️🌟✝️🎅🎁🎄🕊️
I bought some of those string lights today. Got home and realized they weren’t battery but plug ins….bummer
Great haul ❤
Love all your tips! ❤
Thanks, Jinne!
Christmas lights are usually on sale at Lowes after Christmas for about .75...100 lights.
$0.75? That's amazing. I need Christmas lights.
I get my freezer and storage bags at Walgreens. They go in sale for around 2.79 and buy 1 get 2 free.
I got a large pack of tea light candles at Dollar General in the Christmas section for $5 but they were buy 1 get one 50% off. The backs had 32 in each ine
JINNE!!!! YOUR FORGOT THE MATCHES!.........😄😄😄😋 GREAT HAUL, GIRL. ALWAYS HELPFUL AS A REMINDER OF WHAT I SHOULD LOOK FOR AT THE $TREE. THANKS! 🥰

If those paper bowls have a wax coating, you don’t want to put anything hot in them. It will melt the wax and the wax will get in your hot food…YUCK!!
I live on the West Coast. I was really bummed when I found out that our DT doesn't carry the same as yours. So I had to find another place to get headlamps. I had to pay $14.98 for a pack of 2.
Headlamps are awesome, we use them all the time!! Even at that price, they will be worth it when you need them!! 💕🇺🇸
Home Depot has a three pack for less than that and they come with batteries.
I hear that those clothespins are also great for holding clothes on the clothesline, LOL.
Thank you for helping me prepare ❤
Great job 👏 ❤
We love Bruce’s yams!!!
Frustrating to see all the great stuff you find and my store doesn’t carry!
Great haul Jinnie.... hopefully I'll feel like going to the DT Saturday after my Drs appointment 🤗🤗🙏 Kendra
