The next time you go to Dollar General look in the $1 aisle. My local Dollar General has a 6-pack of adult toothbrushes for $1 & a selection of toothpastes. I also get the Hungry Jack dehydrated hash browns & some off brand pasta sides for $1 each.
I went go walmart yesterday here (the day after Christmas). We always check the clearance for food and nonfood. In addition to the Christmas half off. They had a rolller with turkey and chicken stove top stuffing for 25 cents each. I now have 12 boxes of each kind and i didnt even make a dent on that roller. The ocean spray whole berry cranberry sauce was 50 cents a can. I only got 2. I plan to check again later for more
Great find with the refillable fire starters. I bought some lighter fluid a while back at Walmart when it was on sale. I only have one refillable lighter so having 2 or 4 would be a great thing.
Pepperoni in that package is less expensive at Walmart 2 times the amount for less then twice the price. I like you do price shopping. I love looking at prices online before I head out to do my shopping. Dollar Tree is great but the pepperoni is less expensive at wal mart.
I use the lid covers from the dollar tree n put them over my starter seeds for little extra help. Works great. The starters get full n lush inside the cover
I totally agree with you on checking clearances I found kids cold medicine the other day for about 1/2 off the date was almost 2 years out I grabbed all 6 bottles

We needed to order more because we use a lot and gave some to family. We can not now get them shipped free to our store, Elizabethtown stores or Louisville stores. (They want over $39. to ship to my house!) You may want to get a case or so shipped to your store for free pick up while you can.

I financially can't prep like I used to anymore. I am paying off credit card debt for the next 4 months. Hubby got more hamburger meat and I got more pasta but I can only do what I can do. I am earning e gift cards to pay for things though

Good afternoon Jinne ❤ We just moved to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We bought a fixer upper house site unseen and paid it in full so we could continue being debt free. We have been breaking records for our high temps and have literally had no snow. People say we should have at least 2 feet of snow right now. I love clear containers as well! Hubby got me a handful of those Bic multi-purpose lighters that you use for lighting your BBQ. I like to use them for lighting my candles! We also have a ton of matches as well. If you have brown paper lunch bags you can use them with the popcorn to make homemade microwave popcorn! The packages of shower caps at the dollar store make really good bowl covers too.
Pretty good haul, Jinne! I need to get us some of those silicone lids for bowls. You always make me laugh when you get matches in your hauls! Love the idea of making a peach cobbler or crisp with the canned peaches. Thanks for sharing!

i've bought the Sherf coverups which there's 17 in a box for small, seven medium and six large however it's more like saran wrap with the have like snap covers around it. I use them quite a few times however they're not as durable as what you're showing here so when I go to Dollar Tree because it's further away than anything else out here in the country but a much better store than our Dollar General are here - definitely will look for those. some people may or may not know this but pineapple is really good for the lungs. It's got bromine in it. Obviously we can take Bromaline supplements. However, it's best to get the nutrients we need in our food and I know that whenever there's a respiratory issue going on in our family, I pull out cans of pineapple although I do eat it on a regular basis because I love it and it's great with cottage cheese but it's a really good thing to stock up on 😉

I would follow the directions on the package which is usually after its been opened then it needs to be refrigerated. Check each brands package. They are all different 😊
Question about the moisture holders from DT: We would keep alot of our food in our garage because we don't have alot of other space. 3 people (1 a teenager) in a 1590 sqft house. Does it work best in Fall/Winter or Spring/Summer time. New to prepping but been watching videos for a few years.

The Dollar store pepperoni is shelf stable and doesn’t need to be kept frozen or even refrigerated.
I keep the pepperoni right on the shelf in the pantry with summer sausages.. They will last just fine for a year or so. 💕🇺🇸

yes, you can put a good supply of tooth care items. We have a family of 6 so we have a container for each type of oral care item.

We have 3 stores locally within 12 miles, for more options, it's about an hour drive.
