Ironically, Ben's transformations having natural predators would have been a good excuse for using the ultimate forms. Especially since evolution in real life often stems from mutations or changes that help with surviving predators.
I think the problem with the predators idea is that it came in OV, if this was the OS or early Alien Force they could really say Khyber prepared himself against all of Ben Aliens since they were 10+ and not like 30+ or 40+ like in OV. As a kid, Animo is a pretty good villain. Fit the narrative pretty nicely. Wished we had some villains similar to him during his teen years. Something less jarring than the Hybrid but more humane than Zombozo.
I think it’s really cool that in Insomniac’s Marvel’s Spider-Man game, Yuri, Bumper and Dwight all have voice roles. Yuri is Spider-Man, Dwight is Vulture, and Bumper plays additional roles like a 911 dispatcher. So they all got to work on another project together outside of Omniverse
It kinda makes sense that Crashhopper would be doing little hops instead of walking. It's Ben's first time so he wouldn't have figured out the intricacies of moving around as him yet. Remember how much trouble he had moving as Cannonbolt at first?
It’s a fun thing to think about. It got me thinking when Ben fights Kevin during the whole Rooters thing and he kicks the fiber of Crashhopper’s leg. Involuntarily triggering the leap like how our legs react to tapping a certain spot. It makes you figure that as Crashhopper, Ben probably has to take such light steps, since any heavy pushing down on the ground would bend his leg and spasm the fiber.
Honestly you could kinda say that Animo escaping is another part of the “Plumbers can’t do a good job” tally in Omniverse, because somehow they don’t have regular check-ups on him. Like either he escaped that day and managed to build the giant tower by then, which I guess could be waved off with cartoon logic, or he escaped for a while and no Plumber noticed

Funny, I dislike it exactly for the opposite reason. I hate that they made an easy cop-out instead of just trying to remain coherent or to do better explanations.
And best part for me is that they didn't use it just to change the show later. They used it to explain past mistakes and the style change. Although people say they only did that to change continuity, which is bs.
Its actually really cool that Animo kind of became a mainstay villain for Ben. Sure, he's not his archenemy like Vilgax or Ghostfreak, but he's a fun villain who almost seems to be enjoying his role at this point (if his comments in later episodes are ti be believed)
Yeah like he is probably Dr Octopus to Ben’s Spider-Man and Lex Luther from the golden age where he was just a mad scientist before he became a businessman and maybe the Ultra Humanite
Eh, I don't know for him not being Ben's nemesis. Personally I consider him Ben's third or fourth most important nemesis, depending on if you put Zs'Skayr above or below him (Vilgax and Kevin are the first two places if your curious).
In regards to animo’s design, the way I always thought of it was that D’void was animo mutating himself, and OV animo is the result of him not maintaining the mutation while he’s in jail, making his body break down a bit before the plumbers would’ve noticed and allowed him the tech to stabilize himself, like the brain jar.
I think Ben using the word "predator" at the end because of the new Omnitrix and the way it works with his aliens. Since makes him instantly, instinctually aware of their abilities and how to use them, maybe it also adds knowledge of their natural predators as well?
I think Dr Animo always works because he's such a straight up comicbook más scientist complements perfectly Ben 's classic hero actitude. Like Kuro, i also like the fact he built everything from scraps because the aesthetic but also sells how much of a genius Animo is
Man you MAKE my Saturday mornings and give me the same feeling I used to have waiting for shows on TV as a kid. As an adult now, it’s really nice to have something that again so thank you

I'm fascinated by it!
Really I love Ben and Rooks dynamic, plus Ben not wanting Rook as his partner in the beginning is him trying to cope with the fact Gwen and Kevin aren't around.
Animo has always been one of, if not my favorite Ben 10 villain. It mainly has to do with the fact that I've always been fascinated by animals, so much so that I originally wanted to become a veterinarian or a zoologist. As a result, I've always gravitated towards characters like Animo, who can control or bend the biology of animals to their will. Whether he's depicted as a joke or a threat, he's always entertaining to watch.
Honestly, watching this breakdown made me realize: Animo might be Ben's most underrated main villain. Great VA, one of the first Big-Bads of the franchise, and has some of the most appearances. Animo is not one of those characters who need an arc based around them but it would've been nice if he got more of a background. Like Baxter Stockman from TMNT.
Kuro’s excited reaction from Ben choosing swampfire to the disappointment in getting echo echo instead got me Also I kinda love the reactions of the villains who are falsely accused of being Zed’s owner
Animo just works so well in the Ben 10 universe by being a mad scientist mutating animal DNA that fights someone who uses DNA to transform and fight. He also shows that you don't need to be a universe ending threat to be memorable
Animo's fun! Definitely an episode where the intro of Crashhopper and his predator was cool with how I like the whole thing with aliens having predators and how they make a ton of sense when it comes to their inspirations. 13:09-13:14 LOL!
Yes! The episode with my boy, Crashhopper! Also, I read every available chapter of 5yl available online. It's really good. I'm looking forward for more chapters. And good morning everyone.
Honestly, imagine if Dr Animo did manage to get his hands on the Nemetrix. He would probably create one that can fuse the predators, like Ben 10000 did, if he didn't go crazy from using the Nemetrix.
I actually like that in Omniverse Animo just gets massive bases or technology without an explanation. Pretty in line with other evil geniuses like Eggman or Dr. Wily who just get massive, complete, technology filled bases every other month. Especially at this point in the series like he’s evolving alongside Ben, in the early years he’d be scrounging for anything he could get but now he’s capable of building an entire skyscraper.
TBF with Eggman it's actually shown to have casinos, Oil Refineries, a corporation, selling his robots for money, the dude has many ways to gain money which is how he funds his operations
By the way, the reason Crashhopper cant walk, is the same way Grasshoppers IRL cant. They have to make small hops to move instead of their powerful jumps, due to how their legs are built.
Interesting but we do see Kevin being able to run with those legs. And they're fully Crashopper legs. Maybe it's because of all the other DNA of the rest of the aliens who can indeed walk.
I love the science aspect of Animo’s choice of animals in this episode. Also Ben causing the ant to explode does have a loose science aspect, with certain levels of sound causing organs to rupture.
I think the shift between devoid and Animo designs might be Ben's fault because of the copy universe thing but on the other hand I've read retaining a muscular body like that takes a lot of work so its possible Animo fell on hard times after his chicken to dinosaur plan fell through
💚Finally, someone says it, *Dr. Animo* is like Ben’s joker, his the most recurring villain, they have a similar theme with the whole DNA thing, one for aliens and the other for animals. Dr. Animo just appears anywhere. 🤣 Love that dude, his like Top 3 favorite Villain.

From the entertaining insanity of Howling Mad Murdoc, to the good old anxiety ridden Lieutenant Barclay. The whimsical chef Mungdal to the terrifying Professor Pyg. The stuck up Dark Elf mage Neloth of House Telvanni, to the iconic mad genius of Dr Animo. We love Dwight Shultz.
20:05-20:20 You know this could have been the set up for a pretty epic main arc with Animo as the main villain, would be kind of like the incursion arc, but only it would be harder since Ben and crew would have to figure out how to turn all the ants of the world back to normal.
I feel like "Perfect predator" isn't too big a leap from "Perfect counter". This is the first time he's fought a Nemetrix alien as its prey and he found out firsthand that Mucilator's glue trap pustules were the perfect counter to an alien whose preferred method of attack is bashing whole body into stuff
Dwight Schultz is such an iconic voice role for animo. I'm curious how other dubs (non-english) did Animo's voice and how fans experience Animo compare to the original VA.
Well for other internationals dubs I cannot vouch but here in Italy despite being labeled as a minor character Dr. Animo had the same voice actor from classic thru the reboot (with his Italian voice actor being called Massimo Milazzo:it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massimo_Milazzo), and I even asked a Romanian friend of mine Radu if that was the case for the Romanian dub of the show and guess what a similar response I got, apparently despite not being credited for his voice performance a voice actor called Florin Stan voiced Dr. Animo in the Romanian dub from Classic thru Omniverse, the reboot apparently changed the dubbing studio because the old one couldn't renew the dubs right.
here in Brazil we got the same VA for all of the shows, his name is Jorge Vasconcelos, he voiced Mojo Mojo from PPG, Ryuk from Death Note and Ice King from Adventure Time, the guy is a massive professional, he fitted Animo perfectly!!
2 things: 1. Rooke still uses a contraction in his first scene this episode (he says wouldn't) 2. In the first fightscene with zed you can hear the noise of it transforming back
Actually the fact that Khyber and idea of natural predators appeared in Omniverse is mindblowing (how long it took them to think about it). Also funny to think that humans do not have natural predator in nemetrix. Imagine Zed turning into smilodon (or anything from Earth) just once only for Khyber to flex that he got DNA of one.
Based on fossils of early humans, our most persistent predator was in fact the leopard. Dozens of skulls have been found in caves in southern Africa with punctures at the back of the head that line up perfectly with a leopard’s jaws and teeth.
Strange to think that Dwight Shultz also plays Vulture in Marvel's Spider-Man, the same game in which Yuri Lowenthal plays Spidey... Both of them are still duking it out years later.
You know I just realized something. Dr Animo is basically the Dr Neo Cortex of the Ben 10 universe. I mean think about it both of them are insane and lanky (well sometimes lanky in Dr Animo’s case) scientists who mutate animals into powerful super soldiers to take over the world and are sometimes treated like jokes by their respective arch nemesis
If crazy equals genius. He is brilliant, sadly his plans fail so often. I personally like him as a villain and as a character. Tbh one of my favorite villains. Crazy scientists were always my favorite type of villains, and some of Animo episodes were pretty much my favorites.
9:14 nono Im pretty sure its hooked into the wall they just didn't draw a shadow for it, also something I love about Rook a ton is that Bumper made up an accent for him, he has a legit alien accent I love it
I agree that Animo is a great villain. He’s a simple concept, but it’s a fun concept. As the saying goes “less is more.” By the way Kuro. Don’t know if you were aware, but Rustage made a Ben 10 rap cypher. Would recommend it. Also, had a fun idea, when clockwork reverses the time bomb and brings back the bens, please put a “Za Warudo!” Sound affect. I feel like that’s a perfect edit for that moment.
Aside from that last contraption at the end of the episode that could easily just be an oversight, I honestly believe that it´s likely that some of the changes are the direct result of Ben recreating the universe and the perception he had over certain people. Rook stopped using contraptions specifically in the last episode, where the universe was recreated (except for that last one at the end) so I like to think that Ben probably perceived Rook as more formal than he actually was and that's why he stops using contraptions right after he remade the universe. Heck, I´d argue that Dr. Animo´s redesign is the result of Ben´s perception as well, because at least to me, he now looks like Ben´s idea of a stereotypical mad scientist comic book villain. And the same goes for Gwen's redesign. Because is likely for Ben to unconsciously see Gwen in her mind being more of a stereotypical nerd than what she actually was. Which is why she gets freckles and glasses as a result after the recreation of the universe that happened in the last episode. Because that's the perception that Ben unconsciously had about her when he recreated the universe.
I think he’s in interesting villain not the strongest or most powerful but seeing all his awesome and crazy animals creations is always fun to see. And I would love to see like a comic exploring his backstory more.
We got his backstory in the first episode. He's some guy who went crazy because he wanted a trophy. Honestly, some things are better without a backstory, but Animo does have it.
I've always liked Dr Animo hes an interesting villain and has interesting purposes mutating regular creatures into mutant like monsters and using them as his minions. And throughout all 4 shows of the classic continuity he's had a pretty good design in all of them and I would say Doc Animo is one those characters that looked great in the OV art style and benefited from it
5:42 I looked at 2 clips from two different episodes of the reboot to see if it’s still the case in one episode he morphs the arms for the crystals and in another he uses his palms.
You forgot to mention that Animo was the first human villain or overall villain that Ben faced in the franchise not including the reboot. Edit: I forgot the giant robot and the drones in the original series doesn't count though if you count overall aliens. Edit: 12:55 Man Animo took fire ant literal
@@williamdaviddiazcuchimaque7511 vilgax is definitely up there especially in uaf where he shows up more often, but I do think animo has more appearances than him
I personally feel like Animo fits into a Green Goblin role to Ben more than Vilgax oddly enough. There are definitely a lot of ways Animo's motives can be executed, and that's why I love his gimmick of insane doctor gene-splicer. My favorite thing with heroes or villains, is creative powers/use of powers, and seeing that in the future Animo's just big monke, absolutely love it! First time commenting on one of these videos, and I just want to give thanks to you for sticking through these episodes and breaking them down for us!
13:09 I hope this becomes a running joke. Like when you get to "Return to Forever" and Swampfire shows up for like a split-second you can be like "it's my bo-oh...". And knowing that you don't like his blossom form, I'm looking forward to seeing what you have to say about it once we get to "Charmed, I'm Sure".
14:22 after looking at this scene more, i dont think ben was actually struggling against the giant ant. i think his plan was to lure the ant into a big area so that he could effectively surround it and use his echo chamber attack to defeat it. he wasn't having a hard time, he was being strategic with echo echo instead of just brute forcing it like he probably would've done with swampfire
5:20 I wonder if the in-universe explanation for Ben's alien's redesigns is the Omnitrix itself. Like the different versions interpret the alien DNA differently so they all look different
24:52 I feel like that could work with the whole 'Ben re-learning lessons by teaching Rook' thing you mentioned. Maybe Ben feels like he should be able to handle some things on his own after all he's accomplished and trying to show Rook how it's done if he ever has to fight alone
20:41 LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING KURO THE ARTIST!!, YOU DON'T GET TO SAY "NOOoooo" WHEN RATH APPEARS, YO GOTTA LOVE THE RETURN OF THE APOPLEXIAN HIMSELF YO!!
I won't lie, Rook without the pupil actually looks pretty good, I think him having the amount of detail/accent on the face helps contrast the simplicity of the pupil-less design, like Gwen and her freckles
if the Nemetrix had a time-out feature than maybe the times Kyber called it away it was almost out of time and we just didn't know it yet. like when crab dozer abandoned spidermonky maybe it only had like a minute left.
4:16 I think not having a standardized method of transforming is intentional, like more modern phones/smart watches/etc where it has many different ways to use the same features
8:15 It was "You should've said something", also the name of Crashhopper's predator is pronnounced Mu-seal-ator like a sticky substance called mucilage.
You didn’t mention it but the episode title “it was them” is a reference to an old sci fi movie from the 50s “Them!” about giant ants and the fact they breath fire is probably a reference to Fallout 3
My theory to how the Omnitrix dial works is that the wheel is telepathic, once Ben touches it whatever aliens first come to mind show up on the list, and he has to think of what alien he wants to dial up. How well Susie scroll through over 100 transformations
@@theamazingspooderman2697 The whole "give him the wrong alien" thing is just cheap fanservice to the original series, but it makes the supposed real Omnitrix look like a piece of junk.
Fun fact: In Brazil, besides Dr Animo; Gwen, Zomboso, Ben 10,000, Vilgax, Ditto, Greymatter and Tetrax also kept the same voice actor throughout the series (Ben technically also kept it, but was replaced in the Reboot (although the classic voice actor voiced the teenage Bens in Alien X- Tinction)) (maybe there are other characters that I don't remember that never changed voice actors since the classic that I don't remember). Others who never changed voice actors in their appearances, but did not appear in the 5 series and changed voice actors in the original dub are Carl, Sandra, Belicus, Serena and most of Ben's aliens. This also goes for the Live Actions, which were voiced by the same voice actors from the cartoons.
I'ts so weird seeing Ben without the Omnitrix in that one shot. Blows my mind how you can forget to put the most important thing of the whole show on the main character.

@@FranciscoRamirez-nb4uu it wasn’t Zed it was a panuncian and we can assume that not every alien has a predator like humans don’t have a natural predator

As a kid, Animo is a pretty good villain. Fit the narrative pretty nicely.
Wished we had some villains similar to him during his teen years. Something less jarring than the Hybrid but more humane than Zombozo.
@Paulo SM oh yeah. Misspelled again.
@@joelconolly5574 Ironicly, naming them "Hybrids" is equivalent to say that you wanna die
@@reginaldosantoscarbajal9388 technically they did eventually became a hybrid of sorts thanks to Ben.
I always thought it was Hybrid because they used xenocites to take over other alien (in this case human) races.
That's awesome to hear.
It kinda makes sense that Crashhopper would be doing little hops instead of walking. It's Ben's first time so he wouldn't have figured out the intricacies of moving around as him yet. Remember how much trouble he had moving as Cannonbolt at first?
Baby steps, so to speak
was gonna comment as we later see Crashopper run or walk fast very well
It’s a fun thing to think about.
I love how in 13:08 the camera goes up implying that even the camera man thought swampfire was going to be transformed into💀

Kuro's reaction to the absence of "his boy" it's one of the funniest gags I have seen in this channel, specially the first one with Echo Echo got me so bad 😂,
Hope it becomes a regular thing up until Swampy's debut in OV!
Not long until the debut. But that episode might be a quick review.
@@erikpng Would it tho? Professor Hokstar is important for the Ben 23 and Mad Ben episodes and Pax appears in Rad's debut who is important for the Galactic Monsters arc.
@@endrendstudios7665 and so were the map of infinity episodes, but he skipped those as well. Frankly, they were pretty repetitive. Team goes on quest, the fight hard, Greg shows up, utter embarrassing defeat.
The Celestal Sapiens being the reason for retcons is so damn brilliant, it's the perfect cop out! lmao They didn't leave a lot up in the air, they actually acknowledged errors & rolled with it, I love that so much
Funny, I dislike it exactly for the opposite reason. I hate that they made an easy cop-out instead of just trying to remain coherent or to do better explanations.
They don't even bother to explain why they do that. It frankly makes the Serena and Bellicus thing feel hypocritical.
Wait you mean you didn't watch the episodes that come after? Yeah, those things are true, he gets some awesome plots and moments.
Animo solo necesitaba más atención luego de la serie original no es vilgax pero tampoco es los lymax
Huh you didn't see the other episodes he's in? Yeah he does some crazy things and it's all awesome.
It's possibke his aliens have an instinctual fear of their natural predators. The same way some people are naturally spooked
By snakes and spiders
I think Dr Animo always works because he's such a straight up comicbook más scientist complements perfectly Ben 's classic hero actitude. Like Kuro, i also like the fact he built everything from scraps because the aesthetic but also sells how much of a genius Animo is
Dr. Animo is a silver age comic book villain in a 2000s animated show. He could easily work swap with Green Goblin.

Really I love Ben and Rooks dynamic, plus Ben not wanting Rook as his partner in the beginning is him trying to cope with the fact Gwen and Kevin aren't around.
also that Chillie Fries what was enabled Ben to finally accept Rook as his partner was the best Ben thing to do
@@theamazingspooderman2697 Yeah and as I said, their dynamic is really well done.
Ben knows Mucilator is Crashoppers predator because Crashopper would instinctively know it, same applies to other aliens
Which Baxter Stockman? :p Poor guy changed *a lot* between adaptations.
Kuro’s excited reaction from Ben choosing swampfire to the disappointment in getting echo echo instead got me
Also I kinda love the reactions of the villains who are falsely accused of being Zed’s owner

Honestly, imagine if Dr Animo did manage to get his hands on the Nemetrix. He would probably create one that can fuse the predators, like Ben 10000 did, if he didn't go crazy from using the Nemetrix.
Maybe he could use it to power another mutation ray
Or send an army of mutant animals made with the DNA of predators that can counter Ben's abilities.
@@twinodoom Funded by Will Harangue of course.
Well- seeing what happened to Phil and Khyber, post-Nemetrix Animo is Fridge Horror.
Doctor Animo's return in this episode is Dope as FK 🐸
Much better version than his AF/UA appearance
I actually like that in Omniverse Animo just gets massive bases or technology without an explanation. Pretty in line with other evil geniuses like Eggman or Dr. Wily who just get massive, complete, technology filled bases every other month. Especially at this point in the series like he’s evolving alongside Ben, in the early years he’d be scrounging for anything he could get but now he’s capable of building an entire skyscraper.
same
TBF with Eggman it's actually shown to have casinos, Oil Refineries, a corporation, selling his robots for money, the dude has many ways to gain money which is how he funds his operations
Love that dude, his like Top 3 favorite Villain.
I would say he's more of a penguin or Dr Octopus. Up there in the enemy circuit but not the arch nemesis.
Who are your 2 others in the top 3? Pure curiosity^^
@@langadube9611 Uh... Dr Octopus IS considered one of Spidey's nemeses^^' he's one of the three contenders with Green Goblin and Venom. Was in fact considered his biggest nemesis until Norman killed Gwen Stacy.
Kuro is really treating us with the full breakdowns so far and I am not complaining!
Easily Ben's greatest human enemy, both in how iconic he is and being an actual threat. Although I guess the Forever Knights are close.
Let's be honest, when Animo’s on screen or he's the villain of the episode, y'know it's gonna be a good time.
I just wanted to thank you, Kuro. I'm rewatching OV for the first time because of these breakdowns. I think it's my favorite interation now.
Was not expecting for this episode to get full breakdown but im so happy that it did.
Animo is the Doc Oc to Ben's Spider-Man, honestly love the dynamic between them a lot throughout the franchise
No, Psychobos feel more Dr Octopus. Animo is the Ghost Box.
@theglassespro4557 Well, you are right on that.
Although, Stockman was a more serious threat in the 2003 series.
May have to agree, he integrates with Ben real well.
2 things:
1. Rooke still uses a contraction in his first scene this episode (he says wouldn't)
3:08 Khyber looking over Burger Shack like:
"Yes my pet, fetch me the one they call... Big Mac"
Lmao
Animo's "You haven't seen the last of me, Ben Tennyson." is 100% in character to Ben's dipiction of him to Rook
Strange to think that Dwight Shultz also plays Vulture in Marvel's Spider-Man, the same game in which Yuri Lowenthal plays Spidey...
Both of them are still duking it out years later.
If I’m being really honest, Dr Animo is probably one of the best villains of all time, like all all time
Little easter eggs. The episodes title "It was them" was a call back to 50s movie about giant ants named simply "THEM"
If nothing else, he is probably the most consistent character of the franchise.
Max too
You know I just realized something.
6:16 that reminds me of that hole in Darkstars hand in "All that glitters"
That didn’t spin though
If crazy equals genius. He is brilliant, sadly his plans fail so often. I personally like him as a villain and as a character. Tbh one of my favorite villains. Crazy scientists were always my favorite type of villains, and some of Animo episodes were pretty much my favorites.
With Kyber showing up I'd love to see a video where you and Orash create predators for sone of Bens aliens that dont have one.
As the saying goes “less is more.”
By the way Kuro. Don’t know if you were aware, but Rustage made a Ben 10 rap cypher.
Would recommend it.
Also, had a fun idea, when clockwork reverses the time bomb and brings back the bens, please put a
“Za Warudo!” Sound affect. I feel like that’s a perfect edit for that moment.
Fun Fact: the title "It Was Them" is a reference to a 1950s horror movie about giant ants called "Them!". It's actually the movie that inspired Alien.
damn that's cool
Indeed! I'. Surprised Kuro didn't mention that
Clancy Brown would have been a great fit for Omniverse, they could maintain the bug design and give him the clothes from his first apperence.
He doesn’t have a confirmed surname and Clancy Brown in the Ben 10 universe is just some actor
22:05
It's so fitting that Ben uses Crashhopper to fight Mutant Ants. considering grasshoppers sometimes pick on ants.
I've always liked Dr Animo hes an interesting villain and has interesting purposes mutating regular creatures into mutant like monsters and using them as his minions. And throughout all 4 shows of the classic continuity he's had a pretty good design in all of them and I would say Doc Animo is one those characters that looked great in the OV art style and benefited from it
fun fact: Echo Echo's new voice is vocoded to always hit the note E
I have no idea if that was intentional
5:42 I looked at 2 clips from two different episodes of the reboot to see if it’s still the case in one episode he morphs the arms for the crystals and in another he uses his palms.
You forgot to mention that Animo was the first human villain or overall villain that Ben faced in the franchise not including the reboot. Edit: I forgot the giant robot and the drones in the original series doesn't count though if you count overall aliens. Edit: 12:55 Man Animo took fire ant literal

And knowing that you don't like his blossom form, I'm looking forward to seeing what you have to say about it once we get to "Charmed, I'm Sure".
Considering Ben's fear of peacocks, if Animo ever found out I would love to see Ben face his fear and fight a giant mutant peacock lol.
They acknowledged DeVoid, although very subtly, since the power core is made of kormite, something he was mining as DeVoid
That’s not acknowledgment that’s lore continuity
8:35 Rook said "wouldn't" without Kuro noticing
More like seconds left because if it was a minute left Zed would have already killed Ben as Spidermonkey
19:05 Dr Animo: “And I would’ve gotten away with my masterful plan if it wasn’t for that meddling Hunter and his shapeshifting dog!”
This was a pretty good episode. Feels like a good classic episode, love Dr. Animo too. Glad these are getting full breakdowns too
Bro the predator concept was truly was first truly shown in this episode and O l loved it
19:36 i think somewhere animo said he loses power when he's far away from the machine in the null void so i think that's why he lost muscle.
You didn’t mention it but the episode title “it was them” is a reference to an old sci fi movie from the 50s “Them!” about giant ants and the fact they breath fire is probably a reference to Fallout 3
We know from UAF Ben is a fan of cheesy B movies, and Animo definitely befits the tone of the genre.
My theory to how the Omnitrix dial works is that the wheel is telepathic, once Ben touches it whatever aliens first come to mind show up on the list, and he has to think of what alien he wants to dial up. How well Susie scroll through over 100 transformations
No, is just a lazy joke.
@@mayotango1317what joke? scrolling through aliens is a joke?
@@theamazingspooderman2697 The whole "give him the wrong alien" thing is just cheap fanservice to the original series, but it makes the supposed real Omnitrix look like a piece of junk.

It happens all the time throughout the franchise. Or maybe not as much.
