Way to many copyright holder need to educate themselves on copyright as well, then maybe I could get ONE episode of My obviously fair use review show out without it being healed in claims jail for a whole damn month only for them to "decide that it's still infringement" because they want to steal people's money.
With Albedo's track record, I'm not surprise with Ben Gwen and Kevin believing that he had an ulterior motive when told. However, they knew he just wanted to become his original form again. So they should have questioned what they were told and get confirmation about what's going on from Albedo himself.
I mean up to this point, has Albedo done ANYTHING other than try to get the Omnitrix from Ben to fix his DNA? All the dude has tried to do is get his body back, albiet with no care to the consequences.
@@codenate02 he built the ultimatrix kidnapped Gwen and Keven, over power ben with ultimate humungousaur, make ben give up the omnitrix only for it to fall into Vilgax's hands giving Vilgax an over powered army which forces ben to use the self-destruct in an attempt to convince Vilgax to give it up destroying the omnitrix forcing ben to take the utimatrix. He also built the knock off omnitrix that trapped him as ben then tried to steal the real one because he didn't like a human having it, and to revert back to his human form. Albedo could have day 1 explained that he fucked up ,take off the knock off omnitrix, unlock greymatter for ben and try to apply that transformation to himself then leave. He could have asked any-day "help be return to Galvan form and i will leave you alone." and Ben would probably help if it gets one last bad guy out of his hair. There was little reason to trust Albedo by that point.
As a person who has worked as an actor in plays and theater. Albedo’s stage performance was in my opinion really good I mean whenever he transforms he has to leave and get another actor to switch. And he wrote this play. Like give that man some respect.
With Kuro's focus on Albedo's potential love of theater, I'm now imagining that if Albedo's plan had worked, he would have become an interplanetary performer, using his ability to change into new aliens as part of his shows.
Honestly, this episode makes me feel a bit bad for Albedo. He only did what he could to survive while not hurting anyone, then tried to fixed the problem he had without causing damage, but was betrayed and that kinda drove the man to madness.
@@spacecolonyalliances.c.a1234 I can't sympathize with him especially since he's the problem. Asking for help for one is vital, or even just not ripping ben off. He's the reason why he keeps ending up in these situations and I dont feel bad for him. I like him a villain but obviously not as a person
This entire episode is frustrating, literally this is just communication problem, he didn't even needed to ask for help, just say "Wait Ben, I hate you and you hate me but please trust me, I'm just trying to return my original Galvian form, please..." Or the fact that actor betrayed Albeto so hard with the bs. Seriously fck that guy, he ruined it for everyone for his selfish need of having a friend
This episode is just great, really glad we got to see Albedo’s Galvan form in UAF. That glitch during the ratings had me thinking my phone was broken 😂
Honestly I kind of like that albedo doesn’t blame Hugh even tho it is his fault, it’s genuinely nice to see him care about others, it’s like he understands hugh feeling lonely and empathises with him, that’s a really great point for his character
@@fightingmedialounge519 yes and no, sure it’s not the main issue, it’s a bit more subtle, everyone he’s worked with or for has betrayed, or he feels like betrayed him, here he’s found people he can actually call his friends
@@awsomedude23456 not really. The only person who directly betrayed him, and who he even sees as betraying him, is vilgax. With Azmuth he hates him because he feels like he didn't properly recognize his genius. Not to mention albedos treatment of them throughout doesn't really show that heir friends. Really him not blaming hugh is the only sign that he legitimately cares about them
He might have if Albedo didn't go Rath on him I mean once someone who tried killing you twice attacks you again would you really want to stay near them?
I mean, I feel like if they (the trio) did that at any point after they met albedo, I feel like he could have gotten on with his life and not went after the trio, but I guess the idea of reoccurring characters idea has to do it's thing. But, I do suppose that albedo could have appeared in his Galvin form too.
I know this is a very small part of the episode, but the Gwenettes have always stuck to my mind even after all these years. Like where did they find 10 IDENTICAL looking people to begin with?
They probably wouldn't have been identical if the show didn't want to simplify things by making just 1 model to copy and paste for all of them (which we see done in more aggravating ways for certain alien groups of the same species).
Imagine if Albedo actually got a copy of the masks the DNAliens used to pass of as normal humans. And he used them just to get identical human extras the aliens were the difficult part
Man imagine if a good alternate Albedo joined the time war in Omniverse. A timeline where Asmuth gave Albedo a chance with an Omnitrix, at least the prototype. Albedo possibly had gone on his own journey of growth and learned what it means to hold power like Ben did. This episode showed Albedo is willing to drop the beef for a healthier future. What a character… that they almost had
@@mobgabriel1767That's the kind of stuff I like when it comes to the implication of alternate universes in stories, the idea that there are versions of the villains that we love now, who are very much similar to who they are on a fundamental level, but in a way that you can 100% root for
This episode was weird for me, having Albedo, one of Ben's most dangerous enemies who hates him with every fibre of his being, doing this "On Stage" show, partnered with a trio of losers, but I think they need to use something to re-establish Albedo as a threat by giving him transformations again, but I did find it funny on how beyond ticked Gwen was with the Vegas style showgirl versions of herself.
Albedo didn't hate ben as much as he hated being him at this point in the series, and he's never been afraid to use bens appearance to his advantage. Should they ever continue the og continuity they would certainly have had kid albedo get his abilites back for something else though.
While watching this I had an idea for how Albedo's story could've gone. In this hypothetical timeline, his plan works and he successfully returns to his Galvan form. But instead of leaving Earth, he finds that he's grown rather attached to his crew and the art of theatre. So he lets bygones be bygones and parts ways with the team saying that he'll stop ripping off Ben. Then he shows up later in Omniverse as a professor in Friedkin University (I know it'd be less than a year but come on, he's a Galvan he can become a professor in that time) teaching theatre, with Hugh, Swamps, and Fridge as his assistants. That way you can have a "redemption" without him being strictly on the heroes' side.
I honestly like to imagine sometimes an AU where Ben felt bad for Albedo after figuring out what had gone on, maybe where he figured Albedo's initial lies were under suspicion that Ben would auto-attack an honest Albedo.
Albedo has always been one of my favorite villains from the series, due to me being a sucker for the evil twin trope. While I wasn't a big fan of this episode when I saw it as a kid, it's grown on me on a rewatch and by watching this video. Great work, Ink Tank! Keep it up!
I’m still in the camp of Albedo’s inability to evade his Ben form is psychological. His condition and obsession pushed him to the point the Ben form is now his true form even though he rejects it because a part of him does not want to accept it.
This episode was so infuriating after learning Albedo wanted to just be cured and move on assuming he wont use his Galvin Brain to make an Ultimatrix again
@@shelbybayer200 yeah but omniverse at that point had just double down on making him a villain and seemingly use him as the "10 years old ben substitute in the present"
When Albedo's Galvan form reverts back to the human form kinda reflects how Kevin was back in the classic series. They both struggled and failed and result in raged, insanity, and vengence.
I just don't like the ending because it feels unnecessarily cruel towards Albedo. He finally got what he wanted, through mostly legitimate means, and it got ripped away from him by Ben and Co believing in a really dumb lie.
@@wilkinscoffee7166 I don't feel bad for Albedo. He's arrogant and egotistical (I don't hate him btw he's a good villain) and he kind of deserves what he gets. Even when he should have the upper hand with having an ultimatrix over an omnitrix or having more power or teaming up, he always loses against Ben.
I honestly didn't need Albedo to be redeemed, but it's true that they made him just evil in Omniverse, he made team with Vilgax 3 times just to be betrayed 2. I like that at least they didn't make him focus on revenge to Ben anda that they gave us more interactions between him and Azmuth
@@yashbjoshi12 someone had to use the bomb that killed them and that had to el either Eon or Vilgax (or both) since they at some point weren't in the battle

Yea, Azmuth is a total jerk and it shows in how he interacts with villains of his own making. Figuratively he made Albedo as a villain by imprisoning him in a human body as well as actual prison, and he literally made Malware the way he is.
@@aceofspades8474 he was trying to help malware but malware got to impatient and jealous of the other mechamorphs which honestly he did kinda ruin by going full psycho
10:45 I bet it is the same thing with chili fries. Albedo feels compelled to wear the jacket for the same reason we have favorite clothes, his body likes the feeling.
He probably did,but his life experience probably taught him that it's not the best idea to give someone a huge power without any limitation's (like with his sword.)
It's wild that super alien hero buddy adventures never gets brought up at all after the classic series, especially once they do the storylines revolving around Ben being famous
I don't understand why Ben has an issue here. I mean, in Super Alien Buddies someone was leaching off Ben's success. Taking Ben's feats and painting them as his own. Tim Dean did it to take all the glory and fame to himself. Meanwhile, Albedo did not. All the glory and fame still went to Ben. Ben could even ask for a share of the profits, that way both sides are winning. Yet Ben seemed to hate the idea of having a show based off himself. Although, the best part would be that Albedo will be living a good life and stay out of trouble, meaning the trio won't have to worry about him being a pain.
I think Albedo later created a new link to the Omnitrix database when he later comes back in Omniverse with his stabilizer, letting him maintain his transformations and access any that Ben can from that point forward, at least until Azmuth hits him with the anti-Omnitrix contingency.
I think you’re right because albedo’s omnitrix in the ultimate heist looked like the finished version instead the original version, before he upgraded it to the omniverse ultimatrix
I think the great irony to all this is if Albedo wanted to return to normal again all he’d have to do is ask Ben for help. The omnitrix (and presumably the Ultimatrix) has the ability to alter the d.n.a of life forms other than Ben himself. He used it on the Highbreed and has on several occasions (albeit accidentally) fully transformed other people into aliens. Now that Ben has Grey Matter again, it wouldn’t be difficult for them to figure out how to change him back. It’s possible that Azmuth knew that and left Albedo the way he was in the hope that he may be humbled to the point of asking for ben’s help.
@kvacedo273 No, the Ultimatrix said it had too low of a power reserve at the time to do what he was doing on the scale(which was planetary). If he did it on a smaller scale or later, he probably could have done it, but he never tried it again until the end of the episode where it was implied.
@kvacedo273 No, they tried to use DNA repair guns which didn't work since they were meant for humans, not arachnichimps. Ben then tried to use the Ultimatrix with the command "Ultimatrix, revert DNAliens to Arachnichimps"(as in the whole group of DNAliens they were fighting) which gave the insufficient power reserve error, "Insufficient power for this operation.", so he tried it again, "Repair genetic damage to arachnichimps", which then threw the same error. He then turned into Terraspin to fight them off the good ol' fashioned way. It was all in the episode "Simian Says" S3 episode 13. It's obviously aware that it can do that, to be able to throw that specific error, but it just didn't have the power reserve (whether it's that Ben used the Ultimatrix before, that is has a lesser power reserve than the omnitrix, or that it's power reserve is dedicated elsewhere on it or what not).
I like to think Albedo just has an advanced understanding of Primus and the Codon stream, after all he did work on the omnitrix so it stands to reason he understands or knows the DNA sequences for a majority of them used for the omnitrix, which explains why he doesn’t have Feedback, he was removed from the stream, and why he doesn’t use Feedback and Whampire in omniverse; the completed omnitrix uses a completely different system.
Honestly really loved this episode back in the day and still love it now. Personally like that Albedo really isn't overall evil until he's pushed into it by repeatedly having his attempts to return to normal thwarted, even when he was doing it by entirely harmless means. As for Hugh and the others, I think they could have been incorporated into Albedo's return in Omniverse pretty easily. Instead of showing up with Khyber without any real info on how they met, He has Hugh, Swamps and Fridge serve as back up to bail him out instead and the scene alone afterwards has Albedo explain the mechanics of turning Ultimate to the Three of them. He fiddles with his new Ultimatrix and explains that he added a couple new features which Hugh asks about. Albedo answers by firing what looks like lasers at the three of them from the new Ultimatrix but instead of hurting them, it transforms them into Ultimate Versions of their respective Species. He considers this to be a way of repaying them for sticking by his side and says that now they're better than ever. After the next time he shows up, the other three are arrested an now he has to join up with Khyber out of a feeling of desperation. Perhaps instead of trying to kidnap and drain Azmuth's intellect, they want to free Albedo's friends. Although perhaps that's just Albedo and Khyber instead wants to hunt them himself now that they're Ultimates. As well, regarding Albedo becoming Gravattack, I think his new Ultimatrix is what lets him do that. It already provided him with ultimate transformations, I don't see too big of an issue with it letting him turn into Aliens he didn't have access to before. Honestly rather like this idea since it lets both almost work in a way.
I like the idea albedo can turn into every unlocked/scanned alien Ben has in the ultimatrix and that in “Ben 10,000 returns” when ultimate ben gave ben “every alien you’ve ever become up until now” and “a few new ones” would of included all the aliens in the ua intro and fastrack, chamalien, juryrig, and gravattack etc.
25:12 After Albedo falls to the ground, Ultimate Echo Echo approaches him but Gwen stops him, I mean, wtf with Ben? What else was he planning to do to Albedo? The guy was already unconscious...💀💀💀
I just realized this was a full breakdown LMAO. I somehow completely ignored the fact that it is a 30+ minute video which also happens to be on the main channel. Also a breakdown on a Monday is also peculiar. But a W is a W, and I’m taking it lol
I think the reason Albedo can turn into Gravattack is maybe since he is connected to Ben's DNA codex he can only use the aliens Ben unlocks later anytime . Like sharing a library , albedo is borrowing a book from the library. Since it's a library it gets updated. Not the best theory but I like to think that.
No that would work only when Albedo shared the library through his fake omnitrix but rn he just shared a genetic altered chamber in an accident with Ben's now Ultimatrix
@@prabalsaxena2434 I think that wouldn't matter cause when Ben went through the green barrier it made Ben to his base form, Ben had ultimatrix so he was saved but albedo didn't (he had a pseudo Omnitrix on his chest before going into the machine) so I think albedo's core DNA is linked with Ben's alien Library , which would explain he doesn't need a Omnitrix to transform
It would've been fun if Albedo traveled the galaxy and started his own traveling theater show with the other alien actors here. They would help him with the bts stuff since Albedo can transform himself now.
24:30 My theory is, since lack of access isn't same as the Omnitrix not having the data, Albedo just got a random grab instead of a set of aliens with any logic behind why they were given. Like a boatload of Gacha pulls.
I really wish Albedo's story had gone differently. Imagine if he was cured, and by the time of Omniverse they're forced to work together and maybe become sorta friends? Albedo always felt very redeemable, his big problem were ego and entitlement, becoming Ben for so long should have been enough to humble him and make him appreciate what he had.
I like to think that if Albedo sees Ben transform into a new alien he can concentrate his form to mimic it and the power Ben has preform in front of him.
When it comes to him choosing to look like Ben, I think it might be a part of being transformed into Ben. Like how he loves chilli fries despite hating them. Maybe the transformation makes him want to wear cloths that Ben would like as well subconsciously.
It was confirmed a while back that the chilli fries thing is all him. Ben's obsession is smoothies but he likes fries. Albeido just says its Ben's fault because he doesnt like that he likes them.
24:25 I think Ben already has access to Gravattack, i can see him being one of the new aliens unlocked by Ultimate Ben Also this might be my favorite Albedo episode, either this one or the A Fistful of Brains/For a Few Brains More two-parter
Cool story idea: Imagine if Albedo just left. And some time in the future Azmuth and Ben get in a fight, so Ben has to go to Albedo to fix the Omnitrix.
I since Albedo got that new Omnitrix in Omniverse, he was able to connect to Ben’s new one and ‘downloaded’ the aliens and that’s how he was able to use gravattack, I mean he did replace Ben, he probably had enough time to take a few of his new aliens too
i think albedo might know some of the combinations to unlock more transformations than he lets on, giving him any transformation that the writers want to
I think there are Aliens that Ben unlocked but we didn’t see in the show. Or some that Ben just didn’t try. He became rather carefree in Ultimate Aliens. So he might have seen Gravattack and thought “meh I’ll try it later”. If I remember correctly, it was the first alien Ben got in Omniverse. And unlike most of the aliens he unlocked, we didn’t see any of Gravattacks species nearby.
Albedo: I went from being a scientist to being a theater director What would it have been like if he had hired a being of Goop's species but not having the anti-gravity device he had to improvise? Or what would it have been like if he had hired someone of the Echo Eco or Spider Monkey species?
Theatre stage goop without the saucer? Maybe he goes around within this giant clear Lava lamp vat on wheels filled with the lighter liquid to move around in. From a distance it would look like he's standing and turning into different shapes on his own, but would be essentially harmless save for beibg able to shoot acid from an opening maybe. Otherwise you could tip him over to immobilize goop. Raths species has a natrual showmenship though, it might've beneficial to get one of those aliens on there, though maybe one with a bit less of a temper
@@GreaterGrievobeast55 except, as Omniverse shows, appoplexians actually wear clothes. Albedo would've had to find someone who's willing to perform buttnaked in front of hundreds of people, lol.
I think it'd be nice if they explained why Albedo can't just build the machine again (perhaps with the trios help this time) to fix the problem. Also in terms of the question, I could see Ben having Gravattack now and not know it, Ultimate Ben 10K did mention he unlocked a few extra things to make Azmuth mad, but we don't really see what that was, so maybe one was Gravattack. It's possible anyway. And it terms of Albedo being "pure evil" in OV, I can see how that path works, especially with his reaction of blaming Ben after his plan failed here. I see the scenario where he just goes "Screw it, I'm burning it all down to spite Tennyson!" Like how being in lock-up can drive you mad, being trapped as Ben eventually make him just want to Spite Ben as hard as he possibly could. (un Also it's possible that the Alien Auditioners are from Undertown. I think it'd canonically be around at this point even if we don't see if yet (unless there's something I'm forgetting about) so maybe he just held auditions there and they already lived on Earth.
I honestly like how Albedo becomes a full on Villain in Omniverse I think it made sense like at first he's a guy who made a big mistake and tried fixing it in a very wrong way and when caught refused to take responsibility and blamed others and as we see him more it seems like he is falling into darker and darker path even after he does make a new Ultramatix to keep him in his true form his main issue with blaming others has gone so far he wants to get revenge or upstage them he wants to kill Ben and since Azimuth didn't think Albedo was worthy of the Omnitrix he tries to prove he's better then Azimuth by taking his spot to show he's smarter. Maybe I'm looking to into this but that's how I always viewed it
I think your onto something. I think so much happened to Albedo in UA that the idea of leaving Tennyson to his own devices would seem unappealing or even risky. Like ben find away to makes things worse for albedo without it even being bens plan.
@@GreaterGrievobeast55 yeah kind of like one of those comic villains who's a Villain because they blame the Hero for something they did or think they did but instead it's Albedo was the one who did something but can't accept he messed up and it has to be someone else's fault

Oh Man yes, thank you Kuro! I wouldn't say I was afraid but I wanted this episode to get a full breakdown, It's in my top 20 just because it's an Albedo episode. Not to mention the fun characters and premise and that it's a sort of laid-back not too serious episode but it still adds to Albedo's story
I love this episode because Albedo didn’t really care about Ben here. He wasn’t even doing anything harmful to get what he wanted. But I feel like UAF overall didn’t utilize him enough. It’s why I really like Omniverse’s take on him. They used him often in some fun episodes. I also like how it built off of his characterization in UAF by basically saying that even if he returned to being a Galvin his ego wouldn’t allow him to stop trying to prove he’s better than Azmuth. Because that’s how he started out and why he was even transformed into a copy of Ben in the first place. Anyway, he’s a great character and even as I kid I thought this episode was really interesting but I’m also happy it wasn’t the last we saw of him.
Unlike Charmcaster Albedo, is a villain I can go either way with him being redeemed or not. Like I enjoy Albedo as a villain in OV because he's pretty entertaining, but at the same time too all he wants is to return back to his original Galvin form and move on from everyone, but his ego and human irrational thinking is ultimately what does him in and what leads to his life getting worse and worse. Now, at the end of Omniverse, he's stuck as an 11 year old Ben imprisoned on Galvin Prime.
Honestly this is one of my favorite episodes. Double or nothing I feel like is one of the best in capitalizing Ben’s popularity in one of the funniest ways possible and made me feel pretty bad for albedo to be honest. While he’s one of my favorite villains I would’ve totally wanted him to be a fun side character in future episodes.
24:15 Gravattack was one of the aliens unlocked by Ben 10,000 in "Ben 10,000 Returns". But Ben didn't turn into Gravattack until Omniverse episode "A Jolt from the Past"
I have to admit that it's actually kinda amusing that Albedo's default setting is "theatre kid" but it makes sense! Especially if you spent enough time with those types
I think the logic is that when Albedo completed the Ultimatrix in the Alien Force finale, he himself said "There's nothing here but Tennyson's aliens!". I think instead of an external device, from this episode on, Albedo's DNA is synced now and forever with whatever type of Omnitrix that Prime Ben has. Meaning whenever Prime Ben unlocks a new alien, Albedo can then transform into that alien either at will or with a device like his red Ultimatrix in "The Ultimate Heist". However, it could be true that Ben could have Gravattack now and just did not transform into him until the 2012 Season one Omniverse episode "A Jolt from the Past". By accident that is. Remember, Ultimate Ben did unlock a couple new aliens for Prime Ben before Ultimate Ben he went back to his now, non-canon timeline.
Didn't Albedo say in his first episode that their omnitrixes are connected through time and space? Maybe this leads to Albedo gaining an alien's DNA when Ben does it.
On One Hand I feel Sorry for Albedo especially to what just happened in Omniverse that created Multiple Problems that even 2016 made More Sense but on the Other Hand We See that it wasn’t Ben or Azmuth that got Stuck in that Form or having a Huge Hatred for the 2 but His Ego and Ignorance is the Cost of His Misery,in a Way He’s his Own Worse Enemy that Him wanting to be Smarter than Azmuth and Better than Ben that got what He Wanted but Lost what He Had,The Reason why he’s One of the Best Villains in the Franchise is He’s both Ben and Azmuth’s Opposite that Albedo got Mad by letting His Intellect Blind Him and Put the Blame On Them than Himself.
Omniverse never explained where Gravattack came from, and Ultimate Ben 10,000 did say he unlocked a few new ones "just to mess with Azmuth". Given the sheer power that Galileans have, their reputation in the universe, and how fun Ben would likely find him, it seems like a natural choice that Ultimate Ben 10,000 would pick Gravattack as one to unlock.
24:19 Kuro I think the show gave an explanation in this episode. Due to the device he built on Earth, Albedo now has the ability to change his DNA just by thinking it (sort of like master control). Therefore this means that even though Ben may not have access to an alien in his ultimatrix or later the omnitrix, that wouldn't stop Albedo because he just has to look at an alien and perhaps briefly study the genetics of the alien to be able to change into that alien. Therefore, if Albedo sees Gravattack then that would be enough for him to turn into that, becuase the machine gave him the ability to change his own DNA by will and thinking it. I think what happened was that the ultimatrix interfered with the machine (as Albedo suggested), but the only error this caused is that Albedo could only stay in the alien forms temporarily and has to return back to the damaged Ben form. That is all in regard to error. I don't think that the ultimatrix caused Albedo to be limited to transformations of the ultimatrix. I think this is correct, but maybe I could be wrong.
Now, I know that's definitely not what it was planned, but I really like the idea that Albedo got *every* DNA that the watch had, locked or unlocked, however he can only transform into the ones that he has deep understanding on how their DNA works - Knowledge he would have from studying the watch before turning into ben and when building his own. So he turns into gravattack because he remembers that DNA, but he doesn't turn into others because he just didn't saw them or don't remember how they worked exactly
Personally, I think it would have been neat to see Albedo get a sort of redemption arc and become a sort of anti-hero. Maybe never fully good or on the best terms with Team Tennyson, but perhaps a sort of reluctant ally. Maybe they team up in the worst possible case scenario, or if Ben is out of commission, Albedo would fill in temporarily. He gives me a sort of Superior Spider-Man-type vibe and I think it would be neat to explore Albedo being more than just Ben but evil.
20:15 I actually think I have a satisfactory explanation for this So you know how the Omnitrix time out and reset function is there to ensure bens base DNA isn’t irreparably damaged? Well Albedo got that way by messing with Omnitrix fail safes and has been stuck as Ben for… months? Years even? So yes it probably does take longer for Albedo to be fixed than it does to revert Ben’s transformation
I would have liked to see Ben and Albedo work together. They obviously don't like it but they come out at the end appreciating one another for what the other can do. Plus you can do some omnitrix shenanigans. Maybe Ben uses his omnitrix to finally give Albedo what he wants in the end, to be Galvin once more.
just recently binged all the ben 10s again and man i miss this show. watching it before school and waiting for every new alien and new episode, where did all the good times go :(
24:07 Perhaps Ultimate Ben 10K giving UA Ben Gravattack was what separated their timelines. Because it also gave Albedo Gravattack here which is what allowed him to steal Azmuth’s brain at the docks which dominoed into Azmuth unknowingly giving Ben access to Atomix which allowed him to win. Perhaps in Ultimate Ben’s timeline the events took a much different turn and it was a much closer battle and Azmuth was pissed how Ben wasn’t taking the situation seriously, especially since his brain/life hanged in the balance. Because even Prime Ben was being pretty childish during the fight and wasn’t taking Azmuth’s brain being stolen seriously at all but the difference is at least he won.
I personally just think Albedo had access to any of the aliens in the Codon Stream, he just needed to know what was there. It’s like having a device with thousands of ROMs, you won’t know what all’s there until you see it. I kinda wanna rewrite Albedo’s character arc in Omniverse now. Making him a more sympathetic character would be better than his flanderization. I feel like Azmuth would want to help him reform, rather than trap him in a worse body.
2:59 at this point A lot of people just see Albedo as this theatre kid from space with a villain streak and I adore the notion. Albedos subversion as an 'evil copy" character is a huge reason I like him so much as a character even transcending the series! Though he strayed from a potential redemption path in omniverse I actually think his character choices made quite a bit of sense in the brains three parter given his last appearence in UA, and they did still give us glimpses of what a non villain Albedo looks like in trouble helix.
I think Ben had access without Gravattack without realizing it (same deal with Articguana), and that Albedo has access to the UAF aliens only. Otherwise, it's odd that Albedo only resorted to using him as an Omniverse alien. When Ben turned into Atomix, Albedo seemed genuinely surprised. Given his intellect, Albedo should know about Atomix's species and their powers, so him not just resorting to Atomix and going ultimate is one of my main arguments in this.
I like to think that Albedo liking the theatre and stage shows life is part of Ben's personality and him being a little egocentric or liking the atention of the public
8:43 Those changes (which I LOVE btw but I do understand why people don't) and the fact Albedo wanted to represent Gwen in the play remind me of something I always wanted to bring up Since Gwen and Kevin always hang up with Ben, why aren't they popular too? I know they won't be as popular as Ben but it would've been interesting seeing people admiring or even having a crush with Gwen or Kevin Heck, I believe Kevin would be more popular among girls than Ben 🤣
An extra thing I like about this episode (besides all the great stuff I already like) is that the 1st time we see a member of the Vaxasaurian species, is a calm and polite guy. I always saw Vaxasaurians as a naturally peaceful species, I imagine their lifestyle being similar to Geochelone Aerio (Terraspin's species) lifestyle. Even Ben's personality as Humungousaur gives that peaceful, polite vibe (except when fighting) as if Vaxasaurian DNA made Ben become a little more docile-- unless in danger (similar to some other aliens changing his personality to some extent)
I always felt sorry for Albedo. He really never was a villain, was pulled into this role. Especially the talking about 'you begin to hate, what you're forced into' summons it perfectly. Albedo really deserved to transform back to normal and just be done with it.
If I was Hughs, I would have said that it was a DNA mutation bomb that will mutate the Ben DNA in Albedo but to also get revenge for what happened to him, Albedo would expand the range of the bomb and mutate everyone who shares Ben's DNA into other aliens and that thing that was around his torso was to make it that he mutates into a galvin
My theory is that Albedo's now in a situation similar to Alien Force Kevin. Where the Ultimatrix/Omnitrix is emitting a signal that has altered Albedo, and as such every time Ben unlocks and alien, Albedo gets a new alien form as well.
Man, all of this would've been avoided if Albedo educated himself on copyright infringment

@@GreaterGrievobeast55 i think kid albedo did during the time war so eon prop fixed the ultimatrix for him
While watching this I had an idea for how Albedo's story could've gone. That way you can have a "redemption" without him being strictly on the heroes' side.
that'd be awesome. I'd be Funny if gwen's university was just used as a place redeemed characters go ngl.
That sounds really COOL! Too bad the show seems to only identify characters as either good or evil, with neutral characters being incredibly rare.
Isn't Argit sort of this character? As in he's not pure goodie two shoes guy but somewhat neutral? Albedo could've been that character but nooooooo 😢
Or Albedo along with Hugh, Fridge and Swamps could have been a small group of thespians traveling from one place to another performing plays

Although, the best part would be that Albedo will be living a good life and stay out of trouble, meaning the trio won't have to worry about him being a pain.
yeah Albedo was like the only reasonable ben 10 profit scheme.
I think Albedo later created a new link to the Omnitrix database when he later comes back in Omniverse with his stabilizer, letting him maintain his transformations and access any that Ben can from that point forward, at least until Azmuth hits him with the anti-Omnitrix contingency.

@@nathanleifer3093 I think he just mod the look of it to look like ben omnitrix.
I agree. Albedo was too arrogant and stubborn for that. Which is why I don't feel bad for him
@- SageAegis - I still think Albedo deserves what he gets
@KVAcedo27 he was able to cure them later in the episode with it
@kvacedo273 No, the Ultimatrix said it had too low of a power reserve at the time to do what he was doing on the scale(which was planetary).

I love Kevin’s line when Albedo and Ben were fighting in the platform

BENSTONE 101, I like that theory. It (kinda) makes sense
I recently just started rewatching Omniverse and I seriously can't wait for you to review Albedo's episodes
24:25 I think Ben already has access to Gravattack, i can see him being one of the new aliens unlocked by Ultimate Ben

What would it have been like if he had hired a being of Goop's species but not having the anti-gravity device he had to improvise?

It's possible anyway.
And it terms of Albedo being "pure evil" in OV, I can see how that path works, especially with his reaction of blaming Ben after his plan failed here. Oh Man yes, thank you Kuro! I wouldn't say I was afraid but I wanted this episode to get a full breakdown, It's in my top 20 just because it's an Albedo episode.
Not to mention the fun characters and premise and that it's a sort of laid-back
not too serious episode but it still adds to Albedo's story
24:20 I belive the haven’t used it yet theory as Ben 10,000 said he threw in “a few new aliens to spite Azmuth”
This episode is one of my favorite UA episodes. Not only because it's the return of Albedo but also because of the alien actors
I am really glad you did this as a full breakdown. This is one of my favorite "filler" episodes of the whole show
18:12 I LOVE Kevin's sarcasm and this is one of my favorite lines)
I should also make mention of some of JAT's other roles: Tidus from FFX, Captain Jack Sparrow in KH2, and even Obi-Wan Kenobi in Clone Wars
Didn't Albedo say in his first episode that their omnitrixes are connected through time and space? Maybe this leads to Albedo gaining an alien's DNA when Ben does it.
I think it’s obvious that Ultimate Ben unlocked Gravattack for Ben since Albedo doesn’t use other Omniverse aliens.
Yes! This was the episode I was hoping would get the longer review format
Aside from Mutant retcon in Omniverse, everything makes perfect sense
I really dont blame albedo for hated ben so much after this episode
Omniverse never explained where Gravattack came from, and Ultimate Ben 10,000 did say he unlocked a few new ones "just to mess with Azmuth". Given the sheer power that Galileans have, their reputation in the universe, and how fun Ben would likely find him, it seems like a natural choice that Ultimate Ben 10,000 would pick Gravattack as one to unlock.
7:07 wingless big chill is so hilarious
I wish Hugh fridge and swamps stayed with albedo to cope with him and be his friends in omniverse
Hi bobby. And his name is swamps.
@@christianparrish3292 i know but i didn't know if it was canon

I wish albedo would have been a one-time partner in exchange to get himself back to normal. Like what gwen did with Michael in absolute power
i love that albedo chooses to dress like ben and especially in omniverse when he has clear eyeshadow on. he cares about his looks
20:15
I actually think I have a satisfactory explanation for this
So you know how the Omnitrix time out and reset function is there to ensure bens base DNA isn’t irreparably damaged?
Imagine if the actor from Omniverse auditioned for this show but Albedo rejected him for being too campy
Existe una teoría de que atomix fue una especie creada por el propio omnitrix como nanomech
4:28 I bet ben is like : "NOT THIS SH*T AGAIN!!" in his mind
We're getting very close to omniverse now, I'm excited!
I like to think that Albedo liking the theatre and stage shows life is part of Ben's personality and him being a little egocentric or liking the atention of the public
8:43 Those changes (which I LOVE btw but I do understand why people don't) and the fact Albedo wanted to represent Gwen in the play remind me of something I always wanted to bring up
Since Gwen and Kevin always hang up with Ben, why aren't they popular too?
I know they won't be as popular as Ben but it would've been interesting seeing people admiring or even having a crush with Gwen or Kevin
Heck, I believe Kevin would be more popular among girls than Ben 🤣
To be fair, I guess Gwen wants a normal life, as well as Kevin, so that might be a pothole on their road to stardom.
24:20 I think gravattack was probably unlocked for both of them when ben used him in the official omnitrix's playslists
