How much does that matter in stormworks?
@@aarontimm Lift doesn't really exist in the game so planes aren't really gonna balance themselves hence the Center of Weight really scales badly for each flying craft
@@zephy_sx CoG is modeled in though right? so why wouldn't it matter so much if you made the plane tail heavy?
@@ThatGuyKal cog is modeled yes but lift is dependent on the amount of lifting bodies you put in the craft. yes you can make the thing fly but it would be really sensitive to weight changes
@@ThatGuyKal cog does exist and while lift isnt very well modeled, bad cog can affect flight characteristics

Since I'm the creator of the tug and sadly didn't get any credit for it I still can give you and the community some tips on how it's supposed to be used!
The tow bar you used is usually just used on the back and has multiple additional options like lowering and raising the wheels to lift the planes front wheels up. The other tow bar is used for the front and the back. That one is much simpler and doesn't buckle around as much as in the video. Anyway nice of you to show of my creation.
I can't seem to find the tug on the workshop, do you have a link for it?

As an aircraft mechanic who has towed aircraft more times than I can possibly remember, it was a weird sense of satisfaction that someone else got to experience the difficulty of simply pushing a plane back.
Bruh your reading my mind now! I literally just installed all of those creations and did my own mission not knowing that this pre-made mission existed!

The small UA-camrs always have the good intro and videos/ content
A nose heavy plane flies poorly. A tail heavy plane flies once. Check your CG, and shift your cargo to balance it before takeoff.
That's not really a thing in stormworks, it is there but it doesn't change much.

Sometimes you wanna go for lunch in a general area but you're not sure yet. That being said, it's prudent to do preflight planning of your destination airport/s prior to departure. Though a scenario can occur where even if you know where you're going ATC will vector you around a different path for traffic, or even divert you to other airports nearby if there is an emergency at the one you're intending to land at

The plane should have a wheel steer, I dunno if you just didn't activate such, or if designer overlooked such. Otherwise, very awesome set of creations.

bugs me that the trolley wheels dont turn lately, I brought it up in your discord but people seemed to say their just hard to turn. I dont think so. its a bug, shame. I loved using these for land trains
holy crap you could make a whole active world, you could have SAR people, people delivering mail to people(or vehicles). If you could give people money that would also be cool. you could have people buying vehicle parts from people who can "manufacture" them. You could also have fishermen, with the new lua scripting you can do so much, you could add fishing boats that can spawn in that you can use to "catch" fish for money.

This plane is so laggy on my PC. Also it looks like a Lockheed L-1011 TriStar and I love these types of trijets.

@@themaus3847 definitely save for one. You'll never regret getting a good machine. Even a mid range GPU and CPU will get you by perfectly fine. Good luck!

So it took me 20 minutes to load up the plane with one cargo then I take off and barely made it then I turn on alt hold and go strait into the ocean

I'm very impressed.
If that were real life, the aircraft would have left the ground, pitched vertically up, stalled out and slammed into the ground.
It's clear that you aren't a pilot and yes, this isn't a flight sim.
But it would be nice if you did a little research on aviation before your next aviation related video.
Here's a tip that will make you scratch your head.
When landing, your throttle controls your vertical speed and your pitch controls your horizontal speed.
Speed too fast, raise the nose. Decending too fast, increase the throttle.
