Namco Arcade Center: Game Launching PlayStation Home Online Test | PAC-MAN, Dig Dug, & more! (WIP)

- Hey Homesters! First and foremost I just want to say thank you all for the love & support in regards to my channel. Today I will be showcasing Game Launching features within Home! The game that I’ve tested for today’s video is Namco Museum Essentials which was an original game-launching title back in Home! With a bunch of debugging & some midnight snacks, I FINALLY got the original arcade cabinets in Namco Arcade Center. This means users can successfully play Pac-Man, Dig-Dug, Galaga, Dragon Spirit, Xevious & Xevious Resurrection if they own the full version of Namco Museum Essentials on their respective consoles.
Currently, this space is still in a WIP/POC state, as this showcase was just a stress test to show its functionality on the Destination Home Team's private server.

Currently, our development team is looking for anyone who still has PlayStation Home on their PS3 console, any data we can obtain can help the preservation for Home. Our primary goal is to get Home back running online. So our team has been working on trying to emulate Sony's Medius server via using the PlayStation 3 CFW & RPCS3.

Greetings Homesters! Since I had some "free time" today I decided to work on the official Namco Arcade cabinets for Home's online client. After a ton of debugging sessions & some "midnight snacks" I've managed to get all of the arcade machines working! This means that users who own NAMCO ESSENTIALS MUSEUM can now play titles such as PAC-MAN on Home. This test was done on 6/16/2021, and this video is just to document our team's progress. This video's main purpose is to keep documentation/provide a source of history for PlayStation Home.

I was probably like 10-11y old when I played ps home, but I still remember always going to the park and seeing ppl with dinosaurs, horses, weird but cool costumes and such.
Oh and the cinemas.. honestly everything was majestic, I wished if I could experience it one more time again, and here it is :'))

Attempting to play this most of the time my PS3 stays at the black screen and target manager says it fails to reset, any ideas why?
Last time i played ps home was at 14 in 2014 i think but even then i wasn’t really aware of how ps home works that much. I would travel places and go to my crib but unfortunately it all went away long before i really understood the arcade and mini games feature

For Home, the current online version we are working with didn't have initial trophy support however our goal is to working on higher versions for online so further in game compatibility is possible for things like trophy support and other general Home functions.

Currently there is no ETA, as there still many things for the Destination Home team to accomplish such as lobby system function's, RPCS3 support, porting newer clients to work on our server & the overall preservation of archiving Home data. However I post small snippets of what's been accomplished so far within our current server system.
