Nice ... I've attended a concert with @Afro Celt which was brilliant. I never got to see Led Zeppelin which always makes me feel sad. Love this collaboration a lot tx ❤
Wow, I love Afro Celt, and Led Zeppelin is my favorite band ever, yet I never knew that Afro Celt and Robert Plant worked together until now.... that's awesome
Same here! I was lucky to see the System twice (90s Forum, 00s Royal Festival Hall) and Led Zeppelin are my favourite band. Never knew Robert had collaborated with the system!
Dunno why I drifted away from Afro Celt Sound System after Volume 2. I only discovered now that they collaborated with Robert Freaking Plant. And it's glorious.
It's just fantastic, wonderful, marvelous, amazing, fabulous, great.. What else could I say about this song? Words are useless in some cases.. .Music is pure passion; that's what I feel listening to this song... nothing less, nothing more...
I have never heard of Afro Celt Sound System but heard this on Jim Ladd's Radio Show on Deep Tracks last night and nearly drifted off into space. Wonderful! Had to look to see who and what it was. I love Plant and Led Zep but this is so powerful!
I completely forgot about this song until I was randomly browsing through my song list on my phone. I found it in the genre 'World'. That made my day! :)
R.Plant was a dabbler with other cultures sounds. He fused his & their sounds together. That is where I last was with him and now this ?? I think he went to a Mali festival to find newer beats + sounds.
I tried to like it. Pretty average to me. An excellent reach on vocals at one point. I like the echos. Great sound quality. At points in this it reminds me of David Crosby's song Morning Falling (2011?), but that one really pulls on my emotions musically, lyrically, and for me, this didn’t. (Has to be the stuff version. Album called Croz: ua-cam.com/video/KJUjxmXtfYc/v-deo.html )
