Thank you! I had No idea that you can freeze eggs! Lol... I think I joked about it at one point in my life - didn't know it was a Real thing! Thank you Mrs. Pam...🙏🏽
Pam my Auntie Emma was a muslim and this is what she did with all of her eggs all the time I can’t believe you’re doing this on your channel this is absolutely awesome thank you for showing the world how to preserve their eggs this is a great video 👍🏽🥰🍋❤️❤️
So excited I found your channel. The rising cost of eggs and now bird flu. Who knows what else they will throw at us! I believe it’s really a great investment. My mother bought the cans of eggs and wow did that price jump Up.
❤Thank you Sistah Pam I appreciate this video. I didn’t know you could freeze eggs. This is an egg saver now I can buy a few dozen eggs and freeze them wow again thank you. You’re always right on time 🙏
Pam if you fill your sink full of water and sink your plastic bag just above the eggs and it will push all the air out and it is vacuum sealed, it’s a great tip..
Great job. My frozen eggs came in handy in early 2020 when the store was out. I have a feeling I will be needed them again. Have a Happy Mother’s Day. 🤗💚
Thank you. 2025 and the price of eggs in Western Washington State for a dozen and half is $8.00. It also depends where you live and what store you buy from. Yes, I will be using this and I’m checking out the other tip you mentioned.
The last 3mo or so, we've supposedly been dealing with bird flu & eggs went from $10/5doz up & up & up til they hit $30/5doz and then _suddenly_ last week...they're $10.98/5doz. I'm freezing 15 dozen today. PS: It's so pleasant to listen to your soft melodic voice. All the others are recording in echoey kitchens & not using filters!
We love you we are your subscribers. We can’t thank you for all the tips you give everyone I have a question. Can you freeze the eggs in the cup cake papers instead of taking them out thank you Oh, and I have to tell you we saw your video on two ingredients bread making with the vanilla yogurt. The vanilla yogurt bread was a smash hit in my family. It has a tiny bit of a sweet taste, which is delicious and I actually made one with plain yogurt, and it came out just as good without the little bit of sweet and vanilla taste so fast so easy I make it all the time I can’t thank you enough
@Mrs.Pam thank you Great timing with inflation Eggs milk butter all went up in price. I use to not finish a Dozen till I started baking/ cooking again. I hate wasting food
I've read via an extension agency that pre-salting the egg yolks prevents some of the clumping after freezing, i.e. allows you to fry the whole egg however you prefer them, runny, sunny O.E. or hard.
We have backyard chickens and right now we are getting more eggs than we know what to do with, but when winter hits we hate having to buy eggs from the store! This is a fantastic tip! Thank you!
Keep in mind fresh eggs can last up to 6 month just on the counter as long as you DON’T wash them. You can gently wipe them off with a dry towel if they have a lot on them
Thanks for this. I couldn't find any silicone trays, so I got just the regular cupcake pans. I was hesitating doing it, until I saw you use the paper cupcake things. I have been wanting to try this for almost 6 months now. Looks like I no longer have an excuse 🙂
This is awesome, I would love to be in the kitchen with you. I was an avid gardener growing, flowers, flowering shrubs, and roses. You are living your best life!
Pam I never knew you could freeze eggs also, but it does make sense it just preserve whatever you are freezing in it original state. Thanks for your advise and mannerism in all you do to help us. You are appreciated!!! Sharon Bachelor
Great video 👍🏽 thanks for sharing I never knew it was that easy to preserve eggs 🥚. I now have 3 chickens and I’ve been getting 3 eggs a day sense December 2021. Me & my wife share with coworkers. It’s good to know I can freeze them if need be
That’s awesome! I assume 3 chickens 1 egg each??? That’s great to share with your co workers. I’m sure they are enjoying farm fresh eggs!! Thanks so much!
I thought freezing eggs was common knowledge until I read some of the comments. 😁😁😁 The fact that you can find them in some freezer sections of markets was the giveaway. But thanks for the video and you have a new subscriber. ✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾
very nice tut, sweet soothing voice, Thank You so much, i froze 60 but i took the trouble of whisking them, I just bought a dozen to try your way, Again Thank You
No I didn't know you could freeze eggs. THANKS!!!! Never too old to learn. And I'm trying to learn ALL can right now. Preserving All can. Never know what tomorrow brings. Thanks for sharing.
i guess you took a fresh egg at 10:47 because frozen whole yokes keep being more sollid than non frozen, can't scramble them like that, scramble them before freezing, that is a bit better
I wish I had some eggs in the freezer now. The free range that I prefer are $7.00 dz now. Can I also bake with them after freezing? In the video you mentioned showing another method, I will look for that video. TIA
@The Scaredy Cat Gardener thank you for sharing your knowledge. Also, thank you for letting me know the other method wasn't there as I was complaining about my glasses to my husband 😅🤣.
I experimented with storing eggs when freezer isn't available. My favorite is slathering my STORE BOUGHT ( or fresh) eggs in MINERAL OIL, placing them back in their carton, then into the pantry. 16 months later, they were wonderful! I couldn't believe it worked. I did glass jarring method with FRESH eggs. Liked them fine, but couldn't get past the chemical smell. I still use them, though
Great video !! I love all your recipes and tips !! My mom used to freeze her eggs because we lived on a ranch in the early 70s and all the rest of the eggs she shared with her neighbors . She also pickled them too . I'm definitely going to vote for ya as my favorite chef ,!!!!❤❤❤🎉
Awesome and thank you! Welcome to The Scaredy Cat Crew. Enjoy the channel (Container Crops) for more great videos ! 👀🍿Thank you so much for your support! 🍅🥬
Save those egg shells it’s pure calcium for your garden!!! I also can my eggs!! It’s so easy in my instant pot! It’s great to have boiled eggs anytime I need them!! We are both North Carolina girls my sweet friend!! Love your videos!!
I watched a video a couple of years ago where they were showing this same thing, except they said you had to add salt and break the yolk, or else it would get too rubbery. They even told you how much salt to add. I followed their instructions to the letter and guess what? My eggs ALL had to be thrown out! Salt was all I could taste. You way sounds SO much better and I can’t wait to try a real method! No salt, thank you very much!
Never knew you could do this with eggs. I have a freeze dryer and have freeze dried cooked scrambled eggs and also freeze dried raw eggs, but this is something else I plan on trying. Thanks Pam!
You are soooo welcome. I usually use mine at holiday time when I bake a lot and start over. So I can keep them in rotation unless of course I need to use them before then lol Thank you so much for your support!!

I am water glassing eggs this year..tried it last year and it worked great..but yes I have my own chickens..so unwashed fresh eggs, 1 oz Pickling Lime and 4 cups filtered water, put in fresh eggs ( 24 hours old) in brine..No Refrigerator , no heating, keep at room temp 55-75 degrees..I use glass 1/2 gallon or glass gallon jars. Use as fresh ..for months..
Pam thank you for this video that I watched 1/19/25. I found some eggs for $3.97 today. At other grocery stores in my area they are over $5.00 a dozen. I will get up early tomorrow to go and get more and get them ready to freeze. This is one worry off of my mind. 🥰

Scramble the egg lightly & add a pi nch of salt & then freeze. That way the yolk is not rubbery. Enjoy & thank the LORD

Scramble eggs before freezing. Won't have the problem you had scrambling the yolks. Nice presentation. Thank you.
