Also, for more experimental music check out Sufjan's collaborative album Planetarium (with Bryce Dessner, Nico Muhly, and James McAlister). It is a masterpiece.

@@raythepretentiousnerd Impossible soul is one of the best songs I've ever heard. I never thought one of my favorite songs ever would be 25 minutes long. But I now realize that it's not so Impossible

Also it really seems your getting better with long tracks. I think that you should react to Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven by Godspeed You Black Emperor. A post rock instrumental masterpiece that absolutely is an experience and is one of the best things I’ve ever put my ears upon. It’s only four songs and all of them are like 20 minutes and are just instrumentals (with some talking) but the songs change so much they’re less like songs and more like cinematic orchestral pieces to me. They also have a lot of sections which some people could count as songs so you could count the sections of the songs, as the actual songs (if you want to).

Since you loved this album so much, I am a huge fan of Sufjan Stevens and I’m gonna tell you more about this album and Sufjan in general. (His first names pronounced Sew-fee-yon by the way) This album is about his lovers passing and having to deal with the grief of not having anyone by his side and loving him. This whole album has him wondering what happened to my lover and love in general? Now since you adored this album so much, I HIGHLY recommend you listen to more Sufjan. I’d say if you really like the soothing but also depressing atmosphere, I’d say Carrie & Lowell is an album you’d love. Its an album about his mothers passing and his difficulties as a child (his mom was an alcoholic, schizophrenic, mentally unwell person) If you’re into more soothing happy sounding music, I’d recommend Illinois, his most acclaimed album. It’s not my favorite of his but it’s a fantastic album you can vibe to (with the occasional sad song coming in) and if you’re into the more experimental harsh electronic sound in some songs here, might I suggest Age Of Adz (my personal favorite of his). The albums a very electronic noisy and orchestral album and it talks about Sufjans anxiety, mental health, heartbreak, and even physical health suffering. (He almost died in the recordings of the album) And that album “is the musical representation of a panic attack.” Sounds about right. Also remember when you said Shit Talk could’ve been 25 minutes long? Well, there is a song on that album that’s 25 minutes long, and it’s the last song on the album and it’s called Impossible Soul, and it’s the most beautiful transcending song I think Sufjan has ever made. So to put it simply, Sufjan is an angel of a musician
