Proffesor Mcgonogal and mrs umbridge meet again
*professor
Miss Jean Brodie meets Vera Drake
@Newentertainment279Thanks for telling me. I had no idea. 🙄🧐
how is Umbridge "Mrs." when no wizard in their right would marry her bigoted ass
Mrs Umbridge is Carson wife in real life 💕
Maggie Smith and Imelda Staunton in one scene again at last. Two Capricorn QUEENS 👑
It’s like when your Grandmas both come over for Christmas Dinner….
McGonagall and Umbridge finally settling their beef.
From witches of Harry Potter to Royalty of Downton Abbey.
I know😊
The best!!❤❤❤
😂Nobility of Downton abbey*
They did Barrow dirty in this movie. I know they had to have an excuse to bring Carson back but Barrow was handling things fine. I know Mary thought he was out of his depth but I think his approach was the right one as he was expecting the Royal servents to be in charge and was setting things up for them. Meanwhile Carson was blindsided by the expectation that the servants of Downtown were to be second fiddle, so to speak.
Totally agree!
From worst enemies in fantasy to friends in reality. Interesting.
Prequel of the Dowager when she and the former Earl were running the Abbey pleeeeeease
I love both movies from downton abby❤❤❤
I thought this episode was a collaboration between Downton Abbey and The Crown, lol.
I'd rather "The Gilded Age" & "Downton Abbey" do a collab instead
@@盧璘壽로인수 Additionally, introduce Cora and Robert and their families.
Beautiful and wonderful movie.
I love everything, the Script, writer’s, directors, Actors, costume designers. Everyone one is incredible because I have the feeling of living those years when I see the movie.
Incredible and congratulations from
Buenos Aires, Argentine!

Carson's look at 3:35--"This is WAR!"
It's Downton Abbey.
.
1:56 “NOT AT ALL, DOLORES!”
The world does not revolve around the Harry Potter movies. Let it go. 🙄
@@l.a.3479 Who hurt you dear?
Wonderful movie.
Haha I wonder how Violet Crawley felt talking to a future queen of the THE CROWN Elizabeth II. Haha
Violet, the character, knows nothing of Netflix or its series, The Crown. 🤦🙄
Elizabeth II isn’t in this film. It takes place in 1925 I believe.
@l.a.3479 I was being sarcastic. It was a joke referencing that last actress who greeted the character Violet who appeared on The Crown as an older Queen Elizabeth II.
@@alexac3098 I was talking about the actress who played the lady in waiting to Queen Mary who greeted Violet Crawley. She later appeared as an older Queen Elizabeth II in The Crown.
@@herondelatorre4023I know what you were referencing. It just wasn't funny. 🙄
Umbridge and McGonagall. Enough said
They looked nothing like King George and Queen Mary…
Where is the next bit?
That was the nicest portrayal of King George V. I have seen, he is usually cranky AF
King George V
@KarthiKeyan-zu2bx I don't think the person who wrote the first comment made a mistake, but instead I believe that you misread what he actually wrote. After the name George V it looks like a roman numeral I aka George VI, however what the person wrote was meant to be King George V " I have seen " . That's where you misread it.
In various accounts George V is described as short tempered and a bit gruff, shy, conservative, religious, frank, honest, dull and a bit stiff in company being a poor conversationalist. His main interests were stamp collecting and shooting. Oddly, he regarded himself as a rather ordinary person. He wasn't keen on entertaining or staying up late. He was a successful king in that he stabilised and remodelled the monarchy, but he worried, rightly, that his son David would make a mess of things as king.
@@frglee I tend to think his treatment of his children wasn't better or worse then how the aristocratic class raised children, with his naval training which fit his personality like a glove and his fear that his children when grown would be surrounded by sycophants which is why he was a martinet as most military officer are, he did have a warmer side just not as large as his parents or his second son (especially with his wife and daughters).
@@herondelatorre4023 That's correct. I can write and type on a computer keyboard no problem, but my sausage fingers are too fat and the keyboards on my cell too small (first class problem )... Thanks for correcting that
Alright, I guess I will see what all the fuss is about and watch this show. Hopefully I will like it.
First time i saw umbitc- umbridge… and mcgonagall together…
NOT UMBRIDGE XD RIP HER TO SHREDS MINNIE
honestly thought this was a crown crossover lol
4:32 looks like Dolorès ombrage in Harry Potter in older age !!!!!!!!
I love that the queen here is the same queen in the crown, imelda staunton
Imelda here is playing the Queen's lady-in-waiting. But close enough.
It was the Servents ..who ran the house
*servants
@@l.a.3479 *SERVANTS
The dowager countess of grantham meets HM Queen Elizabeth IIs grandparents king George v and queen mary of teck like a crossover of downton abbey and the crown
No.
This takes place the year before QEII was born. The Queen here was her grandmother.
@alexac3098 I was making a reference to imelda staunton going on to portay queen elizabeth ii in season 5 and 6 of the crown but I realised I wrote it when I was half asleep I've edited It after realising my mistake 😅
They used too many people from The Crown 😅 I am so confused who everyone is!
Their standing and no eye contact is just utterly absurd.
Professor Magonnagal and Dolores Umbridge meet again.
Why are the royal servants so rude?
Hierarchy, prestige,ego-in the profession that all of these people are in, being the butler to the king is unsurprisingly more prestigious than being butler to a mere Earl....and this Royalbutler knows it
When the monarch shows up at your house, YOU are his guest, not the other way around. The butler sees from that point of view and acted the way he did. He could have gone about it a bit more delicately, though.
It is new season???
No this is from the 1st film
Downtown?
Down TON not down Town
@@QueenY-co7es You forgot the ABBEY. haha
Downtown Abbey vs. Downtown Abbey? Come on, that's lazy.
Untyped same thing twice lol😅
Actually, it's supposed to be *Downton.
3:33
I should watch downtown Abby, never did
Queen Mary spoke with a German accent! Why do they never get it right?…
Her father was a prince of Teck, Germany. She probably acquired her accent from living in the household as a child.
omg liz visits from the future
He doesn’t look anything like GRV.
He looks like Edward VII, but this portrayal is better then other old George’s
King Edward VII
Only one car ?
