- Mercedes-Benz is taking a big step into the future with numerous innovations in the future E-Class, including in terms of the design of the interior, which features a wide high-resolution next-generation dual display (12.3 inches per display) that appears to hover in space. In addition, touch-sensitive control buttons on the steering wheel make their first appearance in a car. They allow the driver to control the entire infotainment system using finger swipes without having to take their hands off the steering wheel. The all-new experience is rounded off by a novel, intelligent graphic design with high-resolution visualisations and animations as well as simplified control logic. At the same time, the occupants enjoy a sensual interior with spacious architecture and high-quality materials.
Eye-catching dual display.
The eye-catcher in the comfort-oriented, luxurious interior of the future E-Class is two displays each with a 31.2 cm (12.3-inch) screen diagonal and a resolution of 1,920 x 720 pixels. These merge visually to form a wide-screen cockpit, thus acting as a central element to emphasise the horizontal bias of the interior design. As the instrument cluster, this wide-screen cockpit contains a large display with virtual instruments in the direct field of vision of the driver as well a central display above the centre console. A common glass cover results in a modern flat-screen look. The driver can choose between three different styles to select their preferred screen design: “Classic”, “Sport” and “Progressive”.
The interior lighting makes exclusive use of durable, energy-saving LED technology. The same applies to the optionally available enhanced ambience lighting. With 64 colours, it offers a host of possibilities for personalisation.

I recently bought a fully loaded e220d from 2017 but it doesn’t have to burmester sound system. They are very difficult to find and very few have thebsystem because almost no one drops 5k for a sound system. Insane price!

Hi, can you explain to me why only some of the E300’s from this year have the progressive driving option? Is it only on premium 3 package models? Is it available in new standard e300 like the 2021?
You don't need to change the gears or brake in this one. If you look carefully, it already changed to drive before you did. No need to do anything

When you buy this car is there a class you can take in order to learn all the different options of the car?.. I mean with all the options a person would miss out on the full extent of the car if they do not know how to use all the gadgets
MultiSavetheplanet1 if you purchase the vehicle new, you should get a delivery, which is the sales person giving you an in-depth walkthrough of everything available on the vehicle. If they don't offer it, demand it. You're spending that much money, they better do the bare minimum. As far as a second hand, you could ask for it if it's certified, but if not certified, then I wouldn't expect anyone to demo anything to you beyond the test drive.
