Pullerz I get confused when people say that "Chris is back". He never left, he's just doing what he's always done but on a bigger scale and budget and on a different website. It's not his fault for the terrible video player on TG's website (it runs perfectly fine for me).

Thank you for sharing this Chris. I noticed that Team Dynamics wheels were on several of the cars. Is that part of the spec of the series/event?
I think Team Dynamics donated them to Mission Motorsport when they built the cars. A lot of the others use them as they cheap, light and come in a good range of fitments.
The standard ND MX5 does use an 1.5 litre, not a 1.6.

No, the point was to bring joy and purpose to the lives of people perhaps struggling to rebuilt theirs.
That's really not the point. racing isn't the point! it's a medium for people to rebuild their lives. lives that have been ripped apart. it's part of being a team again. being part of a tribe! something that unless you have been in the position you couldn't possibly understand!

One can understand it somewhat - humans are social animals by nature, and I know how difficult but rewarding it is to get back into life after a struggle with depression and social anxiety... so it's not too hard to imagine that, on a magnified scale, restoring the comradeship of the Army, bringing together a team of men who have known that comradeship, bonded through the shared experience of war, who each has his own tale of life-changing injuries, recovery, rehabilitation... who has each suffered similar but individual mental trauma, who may continue to be haunted by PTSD for a long time to come... giving them that sense of comradeship and shared purpose back is something upon which you cannot put a price.
