    How to Recover From Antibiotics:
    Antibiotics are a great thing and can help with treating many different illnesses and infections, but the effects of antibiotics on the body (mostly a decline in the good bacteria in your gut) can lead to issues. After antibiotic therapy, it is important to take steps toward prioritizing your gut health, which can be done with nutrition and the use of probiotic supplements. This video will give you ways to improve gut health and bring your gut flora back to normal. We will discuss the importance of fermented foods for gut health, what makes up a "gut health diet", and how probiotic supplements (and specific strains) may be helpful after antibiotic treatment.

    Very great advice. The only thing that I might add to that would probably be the walnut oil on the thyroid and the coriander seed tincture drink, but you’re really onto it with the fermented kimchi and the sauerkraut then after a while, followed up with the probiotics and maybe a couple of lemon water initiatives before the probiotics. Great video.

    I think the only way I can recover from antibiotics is through death. I been on a continual program of medicines after contracting Pseudomonas aeruginosa & Crypto coccus gattii. I've been taking a 800 mlgs of Bactrim three times a week for the last seven months plus Fluconazole 250mgs every day & at the moment I'm also on 750 mgs of Doxycycline twice a day. Every month I get IVIG which makes me sick for days after. But I'm still happy to be alive & thankful to the doctors. O by the way I''m just getting over Streptococcus pneumonia again. Am I sick or what? I do take Probiotics, been down the Kifer track & do find this product helpful as I also do with Manuka Honey. The last two years have been extremely difficult but I'm still keep hanging on, just! Never had covid! Maybe I've got too many germs in my system for it to survive or attack me.? In life there are always stories & cases too difficult to deal with.

    Hi! I am currently on antibiotics. I was advised to take probiotics along with them.. I have heard that this is not good? I am on day 5 of 10 on these antibiotics. I haven’t eaten many good foods because I have no appetite. What do you recommend I eat while on them??
    And do you recommend stoping the probiotics for the next 5 days?

    • @OswaldDigestiveClinic
      @OswaldDigestiveClinic  Рік тому +7

      You can take probiotics with antibiotics. The key is timing. It is recommended to take probiotics 4hrs away from your antibiotic. If you are not feeling well, you may want to try bone broth for it minerals/vitamins and healing properties for the gut, work on getting protein and healthy fats. This will stabilize blood sugar and give you energy without spiking insulin or over consuming processed foods.
