I respect the man for calling the police instead of laying his hands on his girlfriend. He has a patience, even if the police treat him like a dummy.
Joseph Brintnell I mean they don’t have any thing to work with. The guy only seems mildly distressed, has no markings and the lanyard doesn’t look like it would do much. I mean it kinda sucks if it did happen but from a police perspective it’s kinda hard to handle.

I have to say I’m extremely disappointed in the handling of this call. Men notoriously underreport and know I understand why. These officers need more training.
He waited multiple days to report lol. Idk where I live the cops take men just as seriously as women, but like if someone attacks you and leaves bruises you need to report PROMPTLY. not days later.. lol.

I have, myself, been hit with such things - and no, it doesn't always leave a mark.
Especially not one that can necessarily be seen by a cop that's 3 feet away shining a flashlight on you in the dark.
