that's the thing to understand hoshiumi is levels above hinata right now cause he's fully developed all of his fundamental skills he can do everyhting on the court no matter the teamates hinata is just starting his journey to improve the other aspects of his game but he still has kageyama to put him in the best positions to succeed
Hoshiumi sure is one scary seagull boy. By the way his team's name is Kamomedai High. Also RIP to all the teams that were disposed of after losing their life or death match.
I can't believe none of the patreons told them that Hoshiumi was the one Ushiwaka was expecting Hinata to be during their rivalry pre season4. Coz Ushiwaka, having been to nationals multiple times meets a lot of springy talented small players like the little giant.
Eh, Hoshiumi is a second year player so he has way more experience not to mention he probably played in Jr. High unlike Hinata. That's something a lot of people don't understand about Hinata.
Hoshiumi does have a lot more experience than Hinata at this current arc. I'm just sying since the normies probably still don't know why ushiwaka was pissed off by Hinata after seeing him play on the final so much that he was selfish during that last play on S3 which was key to shiratorizawa losing.
Hoshiumi is what Ushiwaka thought Hinata was gonna be like with the way he was talking to him in the beginning of season 2. It explains why he said he hates confidence with no basis behind it.
Fukurodani Academy is one of the most formidable teams in all of Japan. - They have a top 3 ace on a good day (but due to their recent losings during Bokuto's first tournament in his third year, he fell to top 5). - The entire starting lineup aside are third years in their 6th ever national tournament (Akaashi is in his fourth tournament) so they have tons of experience together. - They never lost a set to Karasuno and defeated Nekoma 2 - 0 in the Tokyo qualifiers. - They stole a set from the former champions in Itachiyama Academy, but ultimately fell short 2 - 1 and became the 2nd Tokyo representative.
Hoshiumi's school is Kamomedai and Kamome means seagull, so it’s their mascot the same way we have crows for Karasuno, cats for Nekoma, eagles for Shiratorizawa and owls for Fukurodani. Other schools that have an animal motif but aren't drawn with character mascots are Nohebi (hebi means snake) and Itachiyama (itachi means weasel)
Y’all gotta realize, Hinata doesn’t get sh*tty when he sees someone that’s better than him. He uses that as motivation. He likes playing against good people bc that makes him better and he aims to beat them. He admires amazing players. He admired Ushijima despite how blunt he was about Hinatas lack of skill. Hinata is a good sport. Nothing gets him down except not being able to play volleyball and ofc losing the game bc he wants to stay on the court as long as possible. He and Kageyama are the same in that aspect. How don’t y’all know this after 4 seasons? Lol
Pat calls out Markeeta for two timing like he wasn’t routing for Seijoh and betting against the fellas in every game and now comes crawling back to Karasuno
Yo, I'm just a dumb ass from Russia, and after watching this channel, I really started to speak English better and now I understand everything the guys say, thank you. Now I don't feel superfluous. Peace
both the best and worst part of this show is that you end up getting attached and rooting for everyone, which sucks when karasuno faces another team and someone has to lose. no matter what you're sad because someone is losing.
Yeah, a total of 104 teams (52 boys/52 girls) play in the tournament. On Day 1, 80 teams play, the remaining 24 (12 boys/12 girls) are seeds and don't play yet. On Day 2, the 24 seeds join the fray and fight the 40 teams who won Day 1. The brackets are arranged so that 32 teams (16 boys/16 girls) survive. Basically, whoever survives Day 2 is officially in the top 16 in the country.
Great comment from Marketa about Hinata's reaction to Hoshiumi's gameplay. Seeing Hoshiumi's incredible athleticism and skill despite being a short player in a sport that prizes physical stature & power suddenly opens the door to a completely new set of possibilities. Just imagine going through life having fight a constant uphill battle because of something you can't control (like height) and seeing another person so boldly and powerfully able to overcome these limits and play at the highest level. Hinata knows that something like this can only be seen in the setting of a national or international tournament, and is profoundly grateful for making it this far after realizing that he has far more potential that has yet to be tapped into. The knowledge that he has more growth in front of him + having a tangible example of the end result of this growth (i.e. Hoshiumi) is bound to spark a massive change in Hinata, one that may truly transform him into an absolute monster of an athlete.
I love Hoshiumi but for different reasons! His introductions leads to the best twist in this series! But for spoilers reasons I won't say it hopefully when they animate the next season we'll get to that moment
40 for both boys and girls there are 48 boys teams and a similar amount of boys teams just know that next round is the round of 32 and the top teams from previous nationals had byes and start in the second round
Marketa's "I have one boy from each team" is literally every Haikyuu fan ever lol
I got Daichi, Kuroo, Akashi, Iwa-chan, Aone, Ushiwaka
@@sneakymickey2410 For me it's Suga, Kuroo, Bokuto, Oikawa, Futakchi, Tendou, Atsumu 😁
I hv more than one boy from each team.
i got Kags, Kenma, Iwaizumi, Bokuto, Aone, Ushi & Tendou, and Osamu
I got Tsukishima, Oikawa, Kogane, Ushiwaka, Kuroo, Osamu, Bokuto and Hirugami
LOL 8:52 Mecha-Hinata made my day. Gratitude from one Mickey to another Micky.

exactly. hoshiumi is basically the player that hinata wants to become. he has everything hinata is lacking in
Love how Akaashi has memorised Bokuto's weaknesses 💀💀 Mans never gets a break 😭🤌🏻
Hoshiumi sure is one scary seagull boy. By the way his team's name is Kamomedai High. Also RIP to all the teams that were disposed of after losing their life or death match.
Welcome to being early🤩
Bokuto's back is the definition of Ace

@@Khay-77 You don't get to just a good as hoshiumi being just ONE YEAR older... Hinata also didn't pratice volleyball from a young age
@@amai-w8fjust excuses,

"40 that's a lot" that's literally half XD, totally normal in a bracket elimination

Yeah one of his best qualities. Both as a player and a human.

Normies: Awwww
Lupa San: *gunshots*
"Mecha-Hinata" was funny af to me💀
A good time to say that Hoshiumi is voiced by Tanjiro's VA (Natsuki Hanae), which means its the battle of 2 MCs in a way.
Hey guys! There was an after credit scene that y’all missed!

You see what happens when there is no Ranna up for note taking🤣
40 teams!!
"thats like most of them"
Or half, maybe they are half.
Knock out tournament, so first round most teams are gone. Sad reality of nationals. I do think that is meant to be both boys and girls teams though
It is both boys and girls, yeah.
