I was surprised and mindblown that Octane works on an Apple Silicon Mac (Downloaded an Octane Prime for my C4D). Btw, when the verification bug appears, press "Show in Finder" and that would trigger a prompt in the "Privacy and Security" section of the macOS Settings app to allow or not allow Octane plugin to run.

You need to download the file in the his video before （ua-cam.com/video/i8vLdO_EnXI/v-deo.html），which file named（OctaneRender-Prime-for-C4D-2022.1-RC1_r2_OSX.zip）then follow the exact step showed in this video ,dont forget to type the code,and it works!!! My device is macbook pro with m2, Ventura 13.2.1

I have a quick question, everything seemed to be working fine until I went to render my scene using soft body simulation, in the live viewer everything looks fine but when I go to render none of the animation is there, just the first frame. Any ideas why the live viewer can render the animation but the render to picture viewer doesn't? I have the renderer set to Octane and it worked for other animations without soft body simulation. Thanks in advance!
Hey man! That’s super strange, if it works for other things but not the soft body simulation that’s a weird error, have you tried caching the sim, and make sure there’s an object tag on it? If not then I would reach out to the otoy support team, they’re usually super quick to respond and you may have found a bug that they need to be aware of!

When i try to download the plugin, website throws me error "Your forum account does not have permission to download this file...". Hey mate! No problem at all, and not a stupid question! Do you already have an account? This is strange, but as I already pay for Octane it might already give me permissions through my account. (Just a guess) what I’d say and the quickest route would be to to contact the otoy support team, link them this video and say that you want to try it, and they should direct you from there and help sort out your account 😁
Also reason I can’t Google drive the plug-in is that it will need to verify that it is you in the software with your account, so if it doesn’t work on otoy then it defo won’t work in the plug-in 👍
Don't know why they can't just build a plugin that you download and double click to install. Super complicated to install Octane ALL of the time. It's not worth it and I stick with Redshift.

c4d 2023, octane 2022.1. goto octane setting, device > Check Apple m1 selected.. That's I got so far.. but can't see anything in viewport.

I have a quick question, everything seemed to be working fine until I went to render my scene using soft body simulation, in the live viewer everything looks fine but when I go to render none of the animation is there, just the first frame.
