Prepare your canvas - Like a pro! (for oil and acrylic painting)

Prepare your canvas quick and easily, ready for oil or acrylic painting! This video highlights the importance of preparing the back of the canvas as well as the front.
When laying your canvas with #gesso, you can choose to add more than one layer, once the initial layer is dry. Some artist prefer to see the canvas weave through the painting where as others prefer to have a completely flat surface. Neither of these options are wrong, it’s just an artists preference!
