- he wanted to finish his seasonal assignment. can we finish it without losing our collective minds, or would we grief one another off the face of the planet? probably both.
lumiin finally decided to finish the second half of season 3's plaguefall assignments. anna and i decided to tag along all the way through, with the fourth slot being filled by a couple of our rotating cast members. shenanigans ensued, mistakes were made, and people were griefed.

Ya know, as a new player to DRG I find that most of the videos on this game are either reviews, over-analytical/class builds, and a BUNCH of memes. I love that at 3:52, he died because he stepped on a maggot. In the magma biome, the maggots explode and deal like a blip of damage but it's enough to kill if you're too close (either stepping on them sets them off or just pickaxing and having bad luck). You can see the little explosion crater under the corpse

11:41 I think that in the original Plaguefall assignments near the end Mission Control says suggests that they may not be sent to Hoxxes accidentally.

The game somewhat hints that there's something larger going on with the rockpox meteors. I'm thinking it'll be something like phazon in the Metroid Prime trilogy in which a planet sends phazon meteors to corrupt them and turn them into copies of itself as a way of reproducing, I think something similar might be going on with the rockpox, some eldritch planet-sized organism growing pieces of itself it then ejects into other planets to spread further.

I think hoxxes among with similar planets are all bio planets, alive in there own right. Then there's a rock pox planet that's like the flood but for these bio planets
Kinda makes me think it behaves like the Flood in Halo and those meteors are a bit on purpose.
@@JayHog1992 Yeah the flood is another example, but I still feel like the phazon from the Metroid Prime trilogy is a better comparison on how it spreads from a sentient planet, or possibly another astral body as we don't yet know the actual source of the rockpox.

I could not find any other channel that makes these edits and some content similar to yours (I would know since i’m trying my hand with content creation). I know a great way to reload cancel in this game. Soon as the ammo counter ticks to full, click your pickaxe button for a split second, and done
I use the scanner button for that. Great for gunner mostly.

Random question, but do you guys use the plasma charger? It just doesn’t seem that great.
It's pretty nice; Burning Nightmare especially has good synergy with CSP since you can ignite goo puddles, and TCF is probably the most interesting gimmick in the game. My only complaint is that 3 of the 6 OCs only affect charged shots, both of the remaining cleans affect charged shots, and Heavy Hitter is the only OC that increases normal and charged damage, along with having a normal shot only heat boost according to the .gg wiki. Not sure if the wiki is right about the last one, but whatever. It's like the Short Circuit from TF2 where the normal attack is essentially tacked on. I think it's the best AOE driller secondary (sorry wave cooker.) so if you run Sludge Blast it's good. It has very strong synergy with GBS and DC at the cost of your single target damage being rather underwhelming, so you might have to rely on your team.

I think I have misunderstood Heavy Hitter; I assume "1.6x damage" refers to normal shot damage only, and it would also have a 1.6x charged shot damage if it did affect charged shots. My bad. Still, 5/6 OCs boost charged shots in some manner and only 1 of the non-cleans affect normal shots

i believe in the first mission i was running 3-1-2-2-2 for a laugh. the rest of the missions i wanna say i was using 1-3-1-2-2. super-slim rounds overclock for both builds, but that's primarily just cause i don't have any other overclocks for it
