Well since you are playing Scout in this video, I would give a scout specific suggestion of bringing the crossbow with pheromone bolts next time you go into mactera plague. One to two bolts into the mactera swarm will do wonders to buy you and your team enough time to wipe the mactera relatively safely. While it might be a bit riskier (you still have to dodge until the other mactera start aggroing on the ones hit by pheromones) than compared to something like the cryo grenades which kills mactera instantly, you get to hold a lot more bolts with the right mods and it can last you a lot more encounters both when you are with your team and when you are alone.

thank you my friend!
10:30 some next level kiting, holy shit
100% resonate with james (least in this vid, first time view to this channel c:)
human weasel, able to somehow eek away from every n any situation
even in 200% panic, able to squirrel from metaphorical branch to metaphorical branch with minimal hiccups
tabg was my awakening and resting place as weasel king, rest in peace you beautiful bastard rolls eyes)
honestly yeah that sounds like him... rip tabg, had a little fun with it back in the day.
After this video, you bet Taylor is always running cryo grenades.
you think i'm smart enough to make decisions based on previous mistakes? funny guy...
>2 scouts and a driller
Just use Ice, Mactera Plague becomes the easiest modifier
5 flying ones spawn? Chuck a granade. Literally just right click with the drillers snow cannon
absolutely true. ice is mvp vs mactera. only if i'd been thinking before we actually started the mission!
I learned that driller and scout should absolutely have cryo weapons on a mactera plague, I guess.
Sludgepump is also really good at killing them
You learned that if you are going mactera plague, you need to be prepared with mactera killing options like cryo nades, or have a gunner on the team. Oh and have james not pull out any eggs.
all true
At least now u know that Haz 5 is where even gray beards die
What did we learn from this mission ? Bring a Gunner next time (preferably with stun bullet hell, it makes the swarms a joke), have cryo nades on Scout and Driller brings cryo too instead of flamer and lastly do not dilly-dally on mactera plague because the frequent swarms will chew through your ammo fast.
they certainly will! running out of ammo quick at every turn
As a gopher myself, you should never one of us reach for the skies. We are built for the dirt and for the dirt we go!
Also, 3 players with access to cryo and only one brought it?
mistakes were made
Today the class learnt that mactera plague is indeed the worst modifier
you learned that bringing James along was a critical error
you learned that when going on mactera plague always bring cryo grenades
you learned that gunner is still overrated and does not need to be run in any case
and you learned that the term "we got this" is foreshadowing to imminent disaster, weather the person saying it knows that or not.
I was actually so confused when he didn't just throw a boomerang and kill them while they were stunned. Every time he threw one he just ran away :(
boomerang bounces to nine enemies, i only run away when there are more than 9 enemies and i'm one hit from death! i prefer to play safe in those situations
Freeze grenade would have been the preferred grenade on mactria plague.
