  • Here I will give you some incredible tips to help guide your training and planning toward the HYROX competition. The information here is compiled from my academic masters in strength and conditioning and through my own experience working with other numerous athletes.

    Thats dead on the spot, very helpful, big THX! Here at Crossfit Flensburg, Germany, we have quite a few succesful Hyrox-athlets, actually two former female world team-champions. our box owner Joshua Wichtrup, who finished 19th in the crossfit games 2019, held the Hyrox record for quite some time in the beginning, when Hyrox wasn´t as big as it is today. what you say about the preparation is exactly how the guys in my box train for hyrox. looking forward to first of April, when I will start in Hamburg! all the best!

    Any minimum levels of strength you’d recommend? I’m a 1m85 ultra runner who only weighs 80kgs. No history of lifting and very few pull-ups/dips for instance. Thanks for the video

      As a beginner I would recommend you work toward doing a bodyweight front squat for 3-5 reps and 12 reps on the chin up with control. There are of course many other ratios to work toward but this could be the aim.
