I think that the binocular feature is really cool, especially if you want to evaluate enemies from a safe distance.
Yeah, it would be cool to use that for planning an ambush

Couple notes:
1. I think Lunar Squadron did a breakdown of the provided footage and it shows that there’s an arachnophobia toggle that can turn spiders on and off, which is great for people scared of it.
2. Thanks for featuring me in the video! The fist song was a banger, can’t wait for more
3. Planets so far: Koboh, Couruscant, The theorized metal area (Supposedly a moon) That’s 4 out of the Supposed 7.
I hope we get some planets that are repeated but with new areas.

I was so worried that there wouldn’t be side quests because the last game didn’t really have post game content. Hearing that this game does makes me overwhelmingly happy.

I know everyone is steadfast about the combat/gameplay, considering that's what we'll be handling repetitively.
However, I'm looking forward to exploration, narrative, and the lore hints left within all the explorable worlds the most.
Curious to see how the story is framed to contribute to the rest of the galaxies' timeline as a whole.
1. Will we hear about any stirrings of the rebellion?
2. Will we meet Saul again?
3. What about (the droid attack on the) Wookies on Kashyyk, especially Tarful?
4. Is Vader going to be more of a background character now that Cal is aware of his existence or will he
be in the game as well?
5. What other ancient characters/species will we be learning of while exploring the different tombs/puzzle areas?
6. Will there be more mentor characters introduced like Cordova or Tapal (will we see more of them?)
or is Cal going to be learning lessons through the force on his own?
7. What's up with the Jedi Library-like shelving where Greeze and Cere are chilling on Koboh?
8. Curious to learn the lore of the "defrosted" high-republic like character.
9. Will Cal be challenged by the Darkside within himself, again?

I'm currently replaying fallen order and dreading the dodge mechanic. How does dodging in Survivor feel? More fluid and responsive? Or similar to fallen order?
So far from what it seems, it looks a LOT smoother. Dodging in the first game was frustrating.
It's been five yrs. He's supposed to be more agile. From the gameplay he does a little farther. And from what other people have said it's much, MUCH smoother.

2:13 No, Cal’s kyber crystal split in two so we should be able to change the color of each.
But.. you couldn't change each in the first game. It's a single crystal, split in two.. how could the halves be different colors? You can control the choice of color for the crystal, but whatever color it is, I'm pretty sure the whole thing is. Both halves.
2:16 they can’t be coming from the same crystal if the saber can be split in two
Each saber would need a seperate crystal to function otherwise dual wielding wouldn’t be possible.
It would therefore be pretty cool to let us change the colour of each blade.
It is the same crystal but it’s a cracked crystal, he gets it in the first game
I don’t even know what they can do next game if there will be one. This seems like they perfected the foundation they built in the first game.
True, but that doesn't mean you can't do new planets, animations, combos, expanded world etc
My expectations weren't crazy but now that I'm hearing this I need this game, I'm too excited for it now.
I noticed in fallen order, that when pushing enemies (especially humanoid enemies) off a cliff, they would be pushed horizontally backwards, and then just fall vertically down, with no physics which really took the immersion out of the game for me. Is this different in Survivor?
Do you think they would add new stances as the game lives on such as reverse grip?
Not gonna lie, that would be sick.
This is what I thought, why reveal everything so early? The only thing being held back is the blaster stance which we know exists. I hope it’s like the first game and instead of relearning old moves we can slowly progress the story and learn new ones besides the ones already revealed

Blade 1 is option 9 and blade 2 is something else
Regarding number 6, I’m pretty sure that his canon lightsaber is supposed to be the broken half of jaro tapals lightsaber and the modified version of ceres lightsaber, but idk about the kyber crystal, although I thought they were supposed to be 2 separate crystals for each half of the lightsaber but i don’t know
I like how the game Carrie’s over everything from the last game. It makes it feel like there connected
Is it really everything tho? I’m not doubting I’m actually hoping because I hope things like the evasive kick and the weapon switch combos, and the old pause combos are still in the game. What I think would be best or what might actually be happening is that the old skill tree is entirely transferred over, but the new skill tree just adds new moves, doesn’t replace them and if the things like pause combos are replaced I hope it’s just animations and not something worse

Great vid. I had a question concerning the camera sensitivity. In Fallen Order you couldn't change it which was pretty frustrating as the default was very low, so I was wondering if they have added the option to change it in Survivor. Thanks😁🙏
If there's only seven planets then they also have to be huge for the file size to be 150 gigs

I really hope they do DLC with this one. Fallen Order got really old about halfway through my second playthrough. I feel like if they did 1 dlc a year with a small story, and a new world, or stance the game could stay fresh for as long as it takes to get the third game out.
Even though the game is canon, I still think I it would be cool if you could unlock different endings for fun.

Love what I've seen so far, Respawn really went all out on this one
as an arachnophobic person neither of the spiders in fallen order actually triggered my phobia which I am very glad about. They are just alien enough.
Here’s my thoughts, hopes, and speculation. 1 I wonder how much we haven’t seen gameplay wise because we know there’s 5 stances and other things, but I feel kinda weird because why reveal all of this so early? There might be either another secret stance (doubt it tho) or some other gameplay elements like force abilities not yet unlocked which I’m hoping for. 2 will old planets come back? Because I love some of the iconic planets from the first game, and would love to see more iconic planets in the Star Wars universe such as Endor, Kashyyk, tatoinee, hoth, coruscant just to name a few because while I like new planets, the ones already established are very cool. 3 I hope either they fix some of the animations prior to the game releasing which might not be likely so hopefully we get updates on the animations as they either look goofy or some like the single saber are very similar to the first game and haven’t changed much. 4 will player settings be more accessible such as sensitivity? 5 I can’t remember that well but I wonder if we can get new ships or not, or if we are stuck with the mantis? 6 are there or will there be “cosmetic stances” to affect the way you use the lightsaber looks? 7 hoping we can max out the skill tree, I get that it kinda defeats the purpose but I like having options. 8 will we see legacy characters again in this game like how we saw with vader? 9 how does the game utilize next gen?

Many creators said they barely finished the first part of Koboh in those 3 hours.

hmm looking at the footage shown it looks like you can change stances at workbenches as well as meditation spots. if you look at customization options at 7:28 you can see lightsaber BD-1 and stances
What did the blaster gameplay look like? could you properly aim it, like in rdr2 or is it more like throwing daggers in the middle earth games?
Also do you think ng+ will let you start with all the lightsaber stances?
@@benjamingross9553 Not necessarily true since in the first game they didn't give you those unlocks in NG+ they only gave you customization unlocks and stims. Because the stances and force powers were tied to story/planet progression whereas customization stuff and the stims you just found in crates. So its definitely not safe to assume this will be different without confirmation.
I hope i don’t have to go for a spider experience again because if there is a 7 foot spider I’m definitely going to make someone else play for no nightmares

How different is the map in Survivor compared to Fallen Order? Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the map layout in Fallen Order, so I'm hoping for something that's easier to navigate with

I have two questions first and how long is jedi survivor going to be gamewise like if If you want to hundred percent the game And Question 2. What is the upgrading system going to be likecause? It looks different than the skill tree from the 1st one. It looks like you have sections that you can upgrade instead of a A skill tree like the 1st game. And I'm very excited for this game because Cal seems like hes more experienced with lightsaber combat and it. Seems like this game is going to be bigger and longer

Hello! Thanks for giving so many answers, I was wondering if you could give any testimonies as to how the game runs on lower end computers, or at least how it ran on what you were playing it on. I have a graphics card that’s just under the minimum but has a lot of extra ram, and I need to know if an upgrade is necessary. Thank you!
A two questions I have are do you see cals master (I forgot his name) again and when you’ve chosen 2 stances in meditation can you change between those two at any time and how?

Hopefully blaster stance is something that goes along with your current saber stance. It'd be pretty funky if "blaster stance" has you only shooting until you change it lol.
You should be able to change stances on the fly like jedi outcast/academy

The reason I hate spiders is they can make literally anything an enemy alien species and decide lets just take a real animal and then bigger
