I'd be more than happy to see Cal and Merrin remain friends, but I also think seeing a deeper relationship would help with the concept of abandoning the dogmatic perspective of the old order, much in the same way that expanded universe Luke had a relationship with Mara Jade
Let's just hope it's not like children of the jedi where luke falls in love with a damn ship, The EU has some really good material but it also has some utterly ridiculous and borderline stupid stuff

Well, it's not impossible. Merrin swings all ways. Although based on the book, she's out the other end of an awkward breakup and also mainly just seems to have a very close friendship/sibling-like relationship with Cal. So it would actually be just as interesting if they end up in an equally close, non-romantic relationship.

I was recently replaying Fallen Order and I heard a conversation I never heard before between two scouts about Mandalorians. One said that a blaster could pierce beskar if calibrated and the other said a Mandalorian would “rip him in two.” So there is a reference to the Mandalorians, but it’s quite hidden.

So I’ve been reading the Battle Scars book that’s set between Fallen Order and Survivor, and although I haven’t finished it, Merrin is having trouble using her magick, meaning unless her magic is fixed by the end of the book, a return to Dathomir could be possible
I’m not the type of person who ships characters just for the sake of it, but I would actually like to see Cal and Merrin’s relationship deepen due to the connection they had in Fallen Order. If it works out then I’m all for it!
I’ve beat Fallen Order 3 times, yet I somehow never noticed the hints at Cal and Merrin’s relationship being something more than friends.
I wouldn't really call it hints but more potential. There are some subtle things in their dialog and interaction signaling that both are sorta figuring out where they would like the relationship to go. I really liked that because it made paying extra close attention to cutscenes and dialog extra worth it.
As for shipping them in the new game, depends. I'm not a fan of relationships to sate fans in canon works but this pairing has potential to actually mean something. Cal has been raised largely outside the order and has seen some of the friction the order's teachings cause with the outside world. Him abandoning the relationship ban would be a significant statement towards a new and reformed order. However no matter what ends up happening I hope the progression feels natural over the game like in Fallen Order. The first game was set over a pretty short time span so any romance in it would have felt a bit misplaced.
I hope we get to unlock a black saber
I would love a cameo from Master Yoda. Definitely would love to see how Cal’s relationship develops with Merian. My choice of saber color is red and a close second is the orange.
A character I really want to see is R2-D2 just to See his and BD-1's interactions
If we do see Dathomir again, we could see Maul
Because Jedi Survivor is set in 9 BBY which is 1 year after the events of 'Solo: A Star Wars Story' where Maul and Qi'ra are developing the Crimson Dawn on Dathomir
I also hope that the red lightsaber returns but it doesn't require you to start the story again in New Game +
Mauls not gonna show up in everything Star Wars before his death and also makes no sense for him and cal to interact

I’d love to get to choose between a stable and unstable kyber crystal in the saber customization.
I’m just imagining that Cal gets Merin just to discover that he can’t form connections. It could be an interesting plot point for Cal to be split between Merin and the Jedi way.

I may be stupid, but I think there is a very slim possibility Nineth Sister will appear (not counting on it). It has been confirmed Force users can survive great falls and still be okay. And as we know, Cal chopped off Nineth Sisters’ hand and Force pushed her off the tree. The missing hand wont be fatal (she already has a robotic leg), so there is a bit of evidence to back it up. But a fall from the tree of life or whatever it’s called is a great fall to put it lightly. But you never know!
I think one of the trailers somewhat confirmed Ninth Sister so she is coming back.

Grogu survived an explosion stronger than the one that killed Kanan, she’ll probably be surviving this
I mean tbf we don’t know how far she fell, it’s unlikely that she fell to the very bottom. She probably used the force to break her fall.
It’s highly alluded too in the story database, questioning if she was really gone. I’d personally like to see her return but also bring in more Sith or Dark Jedi characters (like Pong Krell)
I hope they do something rewarding for fully completing the game. It would be cool if once you complete the game 100% side quests and all, that they let the player use the dark side in the story plus mode. Like it just opens a small skill tree with a few darkside force abilities.

Edit: if the confirmed stances are single, double, split, and cross guard, perhaps the fifth one will be dark side-related, letting Cal use Form Seven (a staple of most Sith and Mace Windu) as well as related Force powers.

I want more collectibles. One that would be cool is helmet collection. Imagine finding clone helmets all over the place in dungeons or after a hard platforming section. And then when you collect all of them you can wear clone armor

I think three and four are pretty good ones but I mainly hoping that number three comes true because I don’t think Cal and Maren are ready and I think it’s too soon I think maybe that’s something to look forward to for the third game as The shocking ending for the third game

Cal forming a love relationship with Merrin sounds nice. But we will have to wait and see. Who knows maybe they might have something beyond friendship. But might be to early to develop a romantic relationship for both Cal and Merrin.

What’s everyone’s lightsaber color? Mines Indigo (a mix of both Blue & Purple). Fun fact Indigo was actually the original Royal Blue because it was extremely hard to make purple in the medieval era and only royalty was able to afford it.

Anakin didnt turn to the dark side because he had attatchments, he did so because the jedi refused to treat him with respect which left him emotionally vulnerable to manipulation. WOuld have happened with or without padame

Hey Andrew, do you know what the deal is with new animations for old stances (single blade etc) one of the biggest things that still bugs me about the first game is how there’s only one set of animations for the basic lightsaber swings and only one counter attack animation for weaker enemies, I feel like it got really repetitive really quickly

I think the people who went to that event weren't allowed hands-on gameplay with the Blaster stance, they were just shown footage of it
