I did the same to my similar cheap catch can. It's there to do a job and not look good imo. Mine intercepts the line from my PCV valve that goes to the inlet manifold though, it's only an n/a DC2 so I get away with running a breather on the rocker cover.
Nice choice on the air filter. The cone style work very well. Not that you want to over-engineer your catch can filter setup but...one idea might be to put a small breather filter inside of the cone filter that attaches to that small hose. Yes, over engineering...Nice video.
Hi MM - thanks, no actually that was shot with a camera boom rig I mounted onto my roll bar, then painted out the boom rod in after effects - that's why its a short clip - time consuming, but the look is awesome :) I'll post a film featuring that shot soon.
