Little Bull Moose Asking Permission to Hang With a Big Bull
Fernando! Such a catchy name! Come along with us as we get ready to leave for Alaska Moose trip #9. Today’s story is a good one. Our mentor and crew member Michael named this young bull. We had a good laugh over it, and we love to look back on the good times and remind ourselves how very blessed we are for the friendships we’ve made and the experiences we continue to have.
A key moment in this video is at 1:50 seconds. We’ll explain what is going on here. Fernando is actually carefully asking permission to be in the big bulls space. All moose have their tolerance for being in “their space”, and that space is different depending on many things. Younger bulls are often allowed to hang out with dominant bulls during the rut but they must “ask permission” first. Check it out.
