No society in world is perfect so is true with India as well. I have travelled many countries in west (They had have Slavery, religious prosecution Catholic and Protestant etc. Crazy Christian Hitler killed millions of Jews on mostly religious ground) and middle east ( women can not even drive in most countries and million killed in Shia & Sunnis fights since 1200 yrs ). There are serious gender bias in whole world , in whole 60 Muslim country not many Women leaders in the world and there are serious discrimination on basis of gender and faith etc every where and we need to solve them hopefully. We need to understand that their are interest group divide us (Indian) on the basis of Caste, Hindu / Muslim , North South ( Dravidian movement and all). All people in Indian subcontinent have same history of ten thousand years and SAME DNA, despite different kind of prayers we might be doing. We must NOT divide us and then let interest group take advantage. Some of people who did and doing politic of poor and Garibi etc. their family is Richest and POOR REMAIN POOR since independence. We must understand Baba sahib true intent of being educated and capable not just vote bank. We failed Baba saheb by being vote bank and being used based on caste & religion etc . India also has serious issues too but lets first being together. India is home to Parsi, Jews, Buddhist , Jain, Sikhs, Shias , Sunnis and many more religions since thousands of years. In order to solve our problem first we need to be united and proud of us as Indian as Baba Saheb said. and not being used by politician on the basis of cast & religion etc.

Duryodhan Karna no doubt about it the ambedkar was the first one who actually raised the awareness about sufferings of the marginalised caste people but gandhi as hindu follower himself too supported ambedkar fully in this pursuit & even recommended his name for the most important job of writing down constitution so in that sense tho gandhi & ambedkar were atleast having some commoness that was to make lifes of people better & both have worked in their own ways for reaching that goal atleast during their life span & for which both needs to be equally acknowledged & credited

His speeches were so futurisitic. We really are heading towards communism, Democracy will never work in India because people are still lack dail essential needs. I have just started reading his book, Who were the shudras?, and i am completely blown by the first chapter. I look forward to reading all his books.

India was lucky to have Ambedkar to write the Constitution. He could be forthright and clear like few leaders of his generation. He not only helped uplift the depressed classes condescendingly called "Harijans", he also contributed to developing liberal thoughts and ideas among the educated Indians in general. A towering intellect who could boast of degrees from the best universities of the West (Columbia and London School of Economics), his contribution to the growth of enlightenment of India is immense.
