Language need not be the criteria in which one writes. It depends on his command and comfort level of the language one chooses. What is important for us readers is how well the author is able to express his feelings and thoughts and convey them to the readers.

His writings are interspersed with wisdom and witty. Reading books or reading habits could be developed among the youngsters only when the text is less pictures are. More pictorial/ illustrated presentation could induce the learning community to fall in love with books.. This is not done because the curriculum is loaded with full of text and who ever need sleeping pills doctors prescribe those books... will the government awake from the slumber of outdated curriculum?
Hi Tharoorji, I am a great admirer of you. Please look into my small suggestion. Before your speech on the Power of the Word here, you could have avoided that one sentence in Malayalam, asking the Malayayalm lovers or the English haters to vacate the room. People are waiting to create controversies about your activities on a daily basis. I feel a little offended. Please correct me if I am wrong in this context.

I do believe that Sanskrit, Pali or hindi would have done more good for the society and for the planet, than English and the consequences of their colonisations. But that is just my thoughts and feelings . The countries where there is more corporate power , lobbies, chronic diseases, mental disorders, stress, depressions, nature damage, armament industry, lack of spirituality, social degradation, etc are English speaking countries. US, UK, Australia, Canada. Indian languages would have awakened peoples awareness, compassion, intellect, spirituality…etc. British should had never took anything back to EUrope from India but the language !
