The whole idea of Pokemon is to catch everything you find. But what if I can only catch one pokemon of each type? Could I still beat a hardcore Nuzlocke of Heart Gold?

Hardcore Nuzlocke Rules:
1) Must catch the first pokemon of each Type I encounter.
2) If A Pokémon Faints, I Cant Use Them
3) No Items In Battle
4) Set Mode
5) No Over Leveling

Yeah a couple other people are saying the same thing. Was it too loud, or just too many? How about the transitions?
@@NuzlockeJoe Turning down them down would help, also might be just a personal preference but I'd avoid using the same bell sound that Cinema Sins uses, it's kind of jarring and overused on this site.

3rd comment saying the same thing but seriously just because tiktok and clickbait thumbnails(which i can tolerate if you started to put those even if i would prefer the normal ones)are the new trend in yt since 2021 you really don't need to put 3 sound effects every second where they don't need to be there to capture my attention,since when you put so much noise in your vids?
And maybe cut down just a bit in the pngs and images a bit.

@@NuzlockeJoetrought the whole video,i don't need a sound effect every time there's boss fight or every time you put a image and i don't need an image every time you introduce an Ability or item.
in my opinion cut the sound effects entirely and maybe reduce the images(in the sense don't put the summaries of Ability and items and cut a bit of the funny images)
If you really want something to please the algorithm i say try to put a red arrow in the thumbnails where it's not too cluttered(if you really need to)but the sound effects,never again(or at least like 3 for video)
I agree, great video! But the sound effect was a tad bit distracting and for me as a 34 y o man it felt.. Childish? I don't know the target group of your channel so maybe I'm way off, haha.
My advice, as a fellow content creator (I'm making a horror podcast in Swedish) is to trust your guts. And you got a great concept, humor and voice. These things will take you far! Keep up the good work!
The sound effects constantly playing seem obnoxious. Could just be me.
Also this has like triple the images of a antlerboylive video,it seems like this guy is trying desperatly to adapt to whatever weird algorithm youtube uses,i just say i rather prefer clickbaity thumbnails than unecessary sound effects and pngs every second.
Not it’s not just you, three people have brought it up so far. Just trying to try out ways to boost retention of each video. I’m guessing this didn’t it lol.

So I actually don't mind the quantity of the transitions or sounds. If a guy wanted to bring them slightly closer to the volume of the voice-over it would add to the experience overall.

I would love to do this through all gens starting in gen 1 but I can't use a mon through more than 1 region for more variety 🙂

Honestly, the soft reset was super needed cuz that guts facade machamp was…broken, to say the least. Of course, the team here isn’t as bad as you would expect from Johto’s Kanto, but hey, sometimes you just get good encounters. My favorite of the group was WATTAWEAZLLLLLLL!! Which is now my new favorite thing to say. Anyways, I’m gonna start numbering the comments I put for fun. Since I’ve commented on every video you have, this will be number 25! Love the video as usual

Personally, much prefer johto and kanto in the same video if can keep under 40-45mins.
Yeah I know, and I probably will in the future. But I feel like this run really does work well being broken up. And I lost several Pokémon in part 1, so this was kinda a reset

Perhaps. I am thinking about doing a video where I try to just beat the battle tower, mansion, etc but it’s harder than I thought.
Cool vid. some of the sound effects aren’t hitting. some don’t let us hear you as clearly. also, if you have to cut them out before they end, maybe using them wasnt necessary.

Where do you grind to level up your Pokémon?
I just use rare candies. It makes everything so much faster

I could, but I don’t know the region that well, so it makes planning ahead a bit difficult
@@NuzlockeJoe That should make the run even more fun! Going in almost blind… of course, you could just search stuff online which is totally acceptable imo, but not knowing much about the region actually makes the run more interesting!
@@NuzlockeJoe how about going in generation order as a mini series. Or doing all 3 games in a generation but the used types carry over for each game making the planning more important and the challenge more intense
