This one is optioned out super weird. Base model 2.7L V6 engine but an almost fully loaded XLT? Makes me think this was just made to be someone’s commuter vehicle.

Believe it or not the 2.7L was not the base model engine at the time, and according to Ford it was the engine most customers optioned on. The base engine used to be a 3.3L V6 making 290 hp and 265 lb-ft of torque

I just bought a 2020 mid trim XLT with the 2.7, I got it to replace my 16 5.0 and preferred the turbo 6. It was just as responsive but way better mileage. I hope ford keeps making it because it’s way more reliable than the 3.5 and even the 5.0.
