She seemed very focused on this one. When I first saw this and tuned into her drumming I noticed the beat for the first time even though I've heard the song countless times. Since then I have learnt a lot about drumming (I don't play at all) and can appreciate it more when I listen to other music, all because of Yoyoka...funny how the world works sometimes...all the best mate.
Thank you Simon yes Yoyoka is showing what we don't see so if we don't see something we don't hear it, it is just their and what we see is the singer and the guitarists this may sound silly but we do hear with our eyes it's like if I was to buy a new guitar it may sound not to good but it looks great that's what I mean with what I say and we all do it
I agree with you about the immersion. I always say that she inhabits the music she plays. And it doesn’t matter what type/genre or style, it’s easy for her to get into it. For her age or any age for that matter, her versatility is astounding and super impressive. It’s hard enough for any drummer to pin down their own style and here is an eleven year old that can do anything and with such ease. Just amazing. And the older she gets, the more polish her skills will be and develop her own signature style. We already see some snippets of it with all her covers. She injects it wonderfully. Thank you for the reaction Mr. B. 👍🥁🤘🏼
Thanks for the shootout and reaction Old Mr B... 😁😁 And Yes, she is a phenomenal talent and just a Joy to observe! ❤️ If You want to see her at her cutest, watch the "Happy" video. It has her along with her parents and little brother. Take good care there and keep the vids coming, Friend.
Hello Mr B, I really appreciate your comments and bringing us interpretations of Yoyoka, she is mind blowing and surprises me every time. A big thank you Mr B
The famous Perdy (spelling?)shuffle! As someone has already commented this is extremely difficult and by all accounts she nailed it! Thank you as always Mr B, your reactions are always enjoyable to watch. Pat 🏴
This cover... ah yes! This was the first time I saw that song Rosanna in a VERY difficult light. I had heard that song a gabillion times, but it was not until I saw Yoyoka at it that I realised just how difficult the drumming really was. She forced me to go back to the original and re-hear the song carefully. It was that day that I learnt about the Purdie shuffle (or for this song, it was renamed the Porcaro shuffle). It was that day that I heard a totally new-found respect for this song. Yes, you are right Mr B, this song really took all the concentration from Yoyoka. She was physically present, but her eyes betray the fact that she was not aware of her environment, or at least didn't care about it. Her mind was all on the song and her drumming. THAT is how difficult this song really is.
Yoyoka for me as well has made me realize the time difficulties and nuances of so many songs. And made me appreciate the studio brilliance Jeff Porcaro, she truly is a gift to the world! Watch the YT vid titled: The Rosanna Half Time Shuffle By Jeff Porcaro, for even more appreciation of Jeff's genius, sophistication, and service to the song. Peace!

Thank you Michael yes Yoyoka always nails every time she is awesome
Thanks for your commentary B I enjoyed it .Im about like you running out of superlatives to describe her.😉 stay safe.
Thank youvery much Wayne yes she is a future super star for sure and you too say safe sir 👍
The pogaro shuffle
She, is great.
Drummers say this is a very difficult song to play
Yes they do but not if your name is Yoyoka amazing
I think she really had to focus on this one, thus the far-away look you mentioned. Totally immersed.
Yes she was totally into it
So you think she had to focus...
You misunderstand that look. Yoyoka's thoughts are more like this: "After I finish banging out this song I think I'll have some milk and cookies"
How can a 10yr old be a master of Jeff Porcaro's half time shuffle??
Because Yoyoka
(that seems to be the answer to a lot of drum questions.)
Yes Yoyoka is
色々見たけど、これはヤバいな
I saw a lot, but this is amazing
はい、よよかはすごいです
Everyone loves yoyo
Yes for sure they do.
awesome
Yes she really is
This is more impressive than Burn. A lot of musicians say this piece separates really good professional drummers from the truly special ones.
Thank you yes Yoyoka is that special one for sure
Hi 爺さん❤️🤘😄
