His sleight of hand is amazing. Even when you know how certain tricks are done and you're looking closely for it, you still can't see it. His sleight of hand is flawless

THIS. I am also a professional magician. It's very easy to understand for someone like me how the tricks are done. But the real talent is in presentation and graceful movement. When you distract your audience it must be done in a way that subconciously distracts the audience and makes them never question the movement you just made. David will sometimes look away off to side and make you look there with him while he finishes the trick with his hands.

David was the first of his art I took seriously.
I was in sudan at the time and one of my older relatives showed me Davids first Street special. When I was back in America the first thing I got was a deck of biccycles. His style is great and unpenatrable, and the best part...NO STOOGES!

true, i'v been performing blaine-style illusions and tricks for years now and they are totally impromptu and do take loads of practice and skill. david was the reason i started and always will be simply because of his style and the unique way he communicates with his audience. he makes performing in the streets something exciting, and gets the audience involved so theres no doubt that there are no gimmicks involved or actors (unlike chris angel etc).

The thing that gets me the most is the pop he does on lifts.
I've been trying that shit for like 10 months now, and I basically never nail it.
I can get the sound with a flash, or no sound and no flash...but never the perfect combo.
Everything he does with card is amazing, but that pop sound is no joke!

All the tricks that db performed in this video I figured it out right away and I performed it with people around me also except with the ripping of cards because I don't have extra decks to waste. It's not easy because I'm not as good as db but as much as possible I did it clean and simple. He's my idol by the way. I will continue doing this trick to different people. Because many of them don't know about DL, P. Breaks etc.

Believe me when I say your not going to find a talent like David Blaine in ANY magic dvd, IBM/SAM lecture, or convention! If I had a resturant I wouldn't hire Hollingworth, or Asher, or anyone but the elite. Blaine is diffently in a catagory with a Williamson, Malone, Copperfield, Henning. A lot of people are his fans, and the ratting's he pulls in show it! PS He does a really nice no get ready DL, I like it.

David takes Impromptu to a new level!
And even when you know these tricks they aren't easy.
It takes years. (Me being an illusionist)
Dan and Dave Buck are a bit over-hyped.
They are best at flourishes yes, but tricks?
And Cyril, he's the best at hiding gaffs and gimmicks. But David uses a normal deck to do this.
He really is the best, for now ;)
