it is the best board around with the right mix of light weight without sacrificing durability. the bungee on front is very handy for stashing small items like water bottles and maps, etc. also the forward leash mount makes it great for unclipping while racing. i have taken this board through the everglades and on both freshwater lakes and in surf. it is just right for me. i wish i was light enough and maybe a little better balanced to get the 23 because the speed bump you get is noticeable but i don't feel steady enough on it except on the flattest water.
Paddling yourself to a better place. Good words.
How do you like it now after paddling for awhile on the 24.5?
