Now this is the point where I’m missing a lot of Kiss on vinyl. After Asylum. Is my downfall. Admittedly, I don’t need all those live albums lol. I saw the 2004 tour also and waited in line to get the cd. Still have it. Great collection you have Jeff. Have a good weekend
I bought the "unofficial" Symphony and Sonic Booms recently. I know some fans find "unofficial" a dirty word but they do fill holes in the collection. 👍
Nice Creatures , Nice Lick it up, nice Animalize, Asylum , nice crazy nights , , nice smashes thrashes and hits , hot in the shade , Revenge , alive 3 nice un plugged , Carnival of souls , nice live at donnington , nice psycho circus , Kiss alive 4 , sonic Boom , Monster , Kiss in Vegas, to answer your question I keep my albums by when I pick them up for exam[ple when my tower closed in Oct of 2006 I picked up Led Zeppelin 1, Metallica Kill em all, Masters, Judas Priest Painkillers, Defenders , Van Halen 1984 so I have those cd's together. I have a less than 5 stars section like I have Ac/dc Ball breaker, Stiff upper lip I just keep my cd's by around the time I got them so contiuing which is worth more has more value same with the other comment in all conditions from a Mint 10 down to a Poor a 1 which albums are worth more say for example Asylum say when that album came out r 1987 say in a 9 or the repress from 2014? say Psycho Circus in a grade 8 within 5 years or Psycho circus same grade an 8 but the 2014 repress? now comparing different Kiss albums which is worth more say an original that came out within 5 years say for example Animalize in all grades or Psycho Circus? say now Kiss Dressed to kill first the original then the 2014 vs Animalize both the original and then the 2014 which has more value? Kiss Destroyer or Creatures? would love to hear all of the answers and don't feel you have to get it done in 1 day it can take weeks that would be fine. which Kiss albums do you like better the early days up to unmasked or from Creatures up to the last studio Monster is it?
That is an interesting way to store things. As far as the worth and ratings, that is different for different people usually. Some people really only want to buy original pressings, so they would value a original higher than a repress. I am not one of those, so as long as I find one that is at least a VG+ (no visible marks if possible) then I am usually content. I think for most collectors though, having an original pressing in high quality is probably the preferred version. Value is really mostly in the eyes of the one buying and what they'd pay. People try to sell all types and conditions of records for various prices, but if no one wants to buy at their prices, they need to adjust. It is really a complicated thing with no definite answers actually. As for my preferences, wow that is tough, I love it all. I guess I lean heavily towards the early years just because I have "lived" through and with those even more...more nostalgic. But I guess if I was forced to choose, I would say the early days.
Big kiss collection.
I've seen real "collectors" which much more, I feel small in comparison to so many others. :)
Hi Jeff!!! you have a great Kiss collection and it's seems cool you don't care that much if they are reissues or OG pressings. cheers and be well
Yeah, I'm fine with whatever, I'm not that kind of "collector" that needs certain pressings or what not
Nice collection
Thank you

My thoughts exactly. When I show them, I typically get a few negative responses about buying them.
you mean hot in the shade
Did I say something stupid again :)

My answer from the debut up to Unmasked are my favorite kiss albums.
