It was VERY helpful, especially since 8 years ago when I had my pool built the technician told me to stay away from the box, When I asked him to teach me how it works if the remote control is not working! My remote is now, NOT WORKING & I am lost without it otherwise pay $800-1000 to get a new one! THANK YOU----THANK YOU!!!
This was useful. 2 questions - 1. I have all "- -" for the intellichem and the pH/ORP levels. Why is that? 2. I don't see the Pumps (I have 1 for the pool and 1 for cleaner) in the Screenlogic connect screen. Why?
I have 2 pump schedules, with one running for a couple hours in the middle of the night...How can I set the pump RPMs to run lower (1500 RPM) during that middle of the night run? Thanks! great video!

How can I set my App to my pool I don't have that number because we just bought the house with the pool and the guy that lived there didn't let any info behind!
When our pool solar runs, the pump turns on even though the pump is not scheduled to run at the time. Also our solar used to turn on itself when it wasn't at the set temp, and it no longer does that.

Simple question….we have a spa with a Pentair control board, the timer runs the pool from 9am to 7pm. What do we do or press if we want to go into the spa after the pool shuts off at 7pm. I’ve pressed the pump and spa on, on the control board, but the pump doesn’t come on. The valves move to adjust to the spa but nothing happens. Thank you in advance
I've had a pool set up for about 3 weeks and everything was fine until about 5 days ago. My pump and the EasyTouch seem to not be on speaking terms at the moment. Nothing from the EasyTouch panel or the ScreenLogic app will run the pump right now. I can only turn on the light. I have to manually run the pump from the Intelliflo VSF controls and it runs just fine like that... but I don't even have to put the EasyTouch in 'SERVICE' mode to do it. Even with the EasyTouch in 'AUTO' mode, my Intelliflo does NOT say 'DISPLAY NOT ACTIVE' like it should. Will hitting the RESET button on the EasyTouch panel fix this? Do I need to do it to the Intelliflo as well?
I am not sure if you figured this problem but I had the same problem a while back and the way I fixed was;
1) turn everything off.
2) if this doesn’t fix it reset the pump.
3) if this still doesn’t fix it go to settings, scroll down to wireless address and hit enter.
I am sure that resetting your pump will communicate again with easy touch control panel I had this issue before even the one when the ET would not communicate with the screen logic app and the way it gets fixed is by going to settings press enter and then go to wireless address press enter and it will resent the address and there you have it problem fixed.
I have the Easy Touch control panel. For the last 2 years, I have a problem, wherein the clock randomly doesn't run for hours at a time. For example most mornings the clock will read 02:00 or so, having lost several hours. It's nothing to do with power failures, the weather, using the spa, or the pool heater. the amount of time lost is completely random, the clock periodically stops during the day when the pool is on also. I reset the panel numerous times, I reset the breaker, and have changed the battery in the outside panel. Theres a 1000 of these panels in my development, no one has ever had anything similar. Anyone??
is this system only able to have 2 valves be automatic? i have a solar valve that needs to be auto, a waterfall valve, and then the pool/cleaner valve that opens and closes pending on which mode it is in. only 2 of my valves will work auto, so right now the waterfall has to be turned on and the toggle needs to be hit to move the valve. can this system move all 3?

Same issue me...bought a new router and can't connect via the app....says it sees the protocol adapter but spins and remote is not connecting as well...tried to use the panel and send wireless address to but nothing

My app is no longer showing the feature pump for the ColorVision Bubbler and under lights it is no longer showing the IntelliBrite 5G Color LED Pool Ligh with the different light options and modes. How do I get those features back on the app?
Sometimes when Pentair does software updates, certain selections and features go “missing” Pentair tech support may be able to help you over the phone (1-800-831-7133)
Before I watched this video, I did exactly what you said not to do. which is playing with the RPM GPM. What should I do now. I am in Texas and I notice that my spool is not getting enough chlorine.
Thank you so much for posting. You covered almost everything. I have a spa built into my pool and integrated into the PENAIR system. I cannot figure out how to drain it so I can clean it. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
I figured it out. Just put it in time out then select SPA then drain. Ensure the you select high RPMs (2500 or higher) on your intelliflow pump so you can see a distinct water drain occurring. Once complete and you can scrub the bottom of the spa select fill and high rpms to refill the spa. Very easy. Video helped very much in figuring it out. Thanks again

If you lost your remote how do you install back on the phone. My phone crashed and I got a new one.
My ultratemp 120 heater does not heat my spa higher than 95 degrees ( I have a new thermometer) when the spa is set for 102. Does the heater have a cap on the degrees it will heat and how do I raise that cap to maybe 104? I do have the heater hooked up to the Pentair itellichlor. My phone indicates the spa is at 102. But temp of water only gets to 95. Thanks
If you have an automation panel that is controlling the heater itself then this could be your issue. The heater display has it's own temperature setting as well, you will want to press the up temperature button on the actual heater display and make sure it's set for 102-104, whichever you want for the maximum heat set point.

We have a heat pump heater for the pool and a gas heater for the spa. The gas heater for the spa will not come on after 8:00 pm at night. We are using the pentair phone app and have been told to turn the pool back on first and then turn the spa on. We have tried it both ways and are unable to start the spa Is there anything that will cause this to happen on the remote.
The spa works fine during the day. I can turn it on anytime during the day. We don't see anything scheduled to stop the spa from coming on.
Christine, I would need more information but it sounds like you may have a pool schedule or cleaning schedule set to run during this time frame? To rule this out make sure all of your schedules are set to run later at night or during the day. Being that it is a gas heater there should not be any conflicts with temperature or when you activate the heater. If this has never worked properly you may need to contact your builder or local pool company to take a look in person and make sure the programming and wiring are correct. Hope this helps!
very helpful, however, I am confused in the Lighting section. On my iPad when I turn lights on, the lights cycle between white, blue, and red. I select Color Lights - nothing happens when I select anything in that section, all on/off, set, sync or swim. When I select Intellibrite and select any of the presets like Caribbean, then Save, nothing changes, it just keeps cycling white, blue, red. What am I missing? BTW the same app on my iPhone, when I select Lighting, the only choices that show are all on/off, set, sync or swim, no intellibrite section. thank you
So someone was fiddling with my pool box and I notice now in service mode it says drain where it once said pool... how do I fix this or does it matter?
I have an intellivalve that switches waterfall and return jets, I have the power plugged into the return valve port but want to set it up to auto change in a schedule. Where should the plug be connected to ? And where or what setting would I need to set a schedule? Thanks in advance 👍🏻

My panel wont let me change the mode, the screen just scrolls and scrolls when I select mode. It is stuck in auto on filter and waterfall and I need that changed. I flipped breakers, etc. ???? No use.
Have you been able to solve your problem? I have a panel that change the different modes but just apparently, because all the equipment keeps as it is in manual mode. It was working good before, but now the remote control for example don’t work either.

I want to set up a schedule to run in my pool, I only have one pump. How can I Set up the schedule to run at 2300rpm from 9 AM to 1 PM then run another schedule from 1 PM to 5 PM at 1000 RPMs. Is it possible?

When I turn on my spa and set my temp at 98 degrees I notice the jets stop when my spa water reaches 98 degrees. Once the water temp falls below 98degrees then the jets turn back on. What is causing this?
When the system senses that the heater is needed to maintain the water temperature it must first start the pump to provide water flow before the heater can be turned on.

Pressing the mode button once on the front of the Easy Touch panel until Service appears on the top of the screen will disable the automation controls. Once the repairs are complete they need to press the mode button twice until the screen says Auto on the top.

You can find the address of your ScreenLogic printed on the end of the Protocol Adapter that is connected to your router.

I have read some horrible reviews on the Pentair intellibright lights. Any thoughts? I have regular white lights on the pool and spa but I’m afraid of spending $600 a bulb (I need 3) for it to break after 2 months. Also, I really want to know how to set up my phone to work with the pool/spa. Thank you!

Where do you get the 6 digit code?
It's on the screenlogic protocol interface adapter box. You have to buy that part and hook it up to your J20 comport on the motherboard directly on the RS-485 connector or buy the Serial to Com port expansion board and wire it to that. It's some proprietary board that talks to the mainboard and can control the pool box.
I can’t get my pump to come up on my easy touch.
If pump is not turning on with automation from the panel, the pump most likely lost communication with the panel. You can try turning off all the breakers in the Easy Touch panel in the center/lower portion of the panel, wait 10-20 seconds and turn them all back on (any order) This may restore the communication. Other than that, the pump cable may have become unplugged or more commonly chewed through by rodents or it’s a failure of the pump drive (pump brain).
