Hi there. That is correct if we built the pool. The spa suction drain only works when spa mode in on. The in-floor system will stir up the dirt and while it's suspended will/should spill over into the pool to be picked up by the pool main drain. Customers do have the ability to manually drain the spa almost completely using just the drain suction while the pump is running high speed if they ever feel the need to drain most of the water out of the spa.
What's the best automation system? Getting a pool with Pentair components, am I forced to use ScreenLogic? Android app has bad reviews, same with the Alexa skill.
Great video. I have a screenlogic and vs pump. I can set a schedule for the pump. I would like to set a second schedule for the pump at a lower rpm. Can it be done I can't figure it out. Thanks

This year when I fired up my pool I no longer had a “clean” speed. How do I add one? All I see is the pool and pool low setting. Not sure what happens over the winter with my settings.

Do you mean an actual computer inside the home or are you referring to the control panel outside by the pool equipment as the computer. The Screen Logic is an added accessory they do not come standard with the Pentair Easy Touch control panels. You must purchase the Screen Logic for the phone app controls to work. If you do have Screen Logic, the interface is similar between the computer desktop version and phone app version if it is working on one it should be working on the other using the same menu options.
To lower the pool water temperature: • Tap the Off button for Heat Mode or tap the Down arrow button to program a new Set Point temperature. The Android app does not have that feature upgrade yet. You still have to use the Screen Logic Config app to change the settings on the Intelliflo pumps.

Southern Star Inspections, LLC The app simply lets you do the same programming that you would otherwise have to do at the Easytouch panel, so if you’re comfortable making changes at the panel I’d say go for it.

It means heater is turning on and when finally fires it should be solid green.
