  • Problems with Bradley Smokers and Customer service! Do not buy a Bradley Smoker!
When you eventually get a response from your email to customer service....because no one will answer a phone there!!
If your Bradley Smoker breaks they will ask you to take it apart yourself (you better have tools), buy electrical equipment to do electrical diagnosis on the equipment, learn how to read the electrical diagnosis on the equipment.
What if you cannot diagnose the problem correctly and they send you the wrong part to be fixed? I suppose you have to take it apart again do another diagnosis and wait for another part to come in? And if that one is wrong I guess you have to do it again and again and again....
All just to have your "Under warranty" purchase fixed!
It is absolutely unacceptable to have the responsibility lie upon the customer to disassemble, diagnose, repair, and reassemble a product under warranty by a company!
Do yourself a favor and consider yourself warned about Bradley Smokers!! Do Not Purchase from this manufacturer!

I have used my P-10 about 7 times . Last time I went to use it the puck burner did not get hot so of course no smoke . I got on line to Bradley on Sunday afternoon not expecting a response .They e-mailed me back within 3 hours and from what I told them ,they determined it was a burner sensor and they said they would send one out . I received my part within 5 business days , I have not had a chance to replace part yet but I am happy with the customer service . Bradley even sent detailed instruction on updating P-10 after installing new part . When I put the part in I will let you know if it works .

I would expect the level of customer service and support to be much higher from a company that has been around for this many years. I'm disappointed to hear this.

Have to agree with Richard. My P10 is just over a year old and now giving an ERR 6. Emailed yesterday and tried to call today- nothing as far as support. Between biscuit feed problems and now this it seems like I spend more time clearing error codes than smoking.

Could not agree more. Poorest customer service I have ever seen. And parts are hard to get to fix a smoker. By the way you will need parts...

I've had my P10 since the first year of release, a couple anomalies and Bradley has been excellent to address. I purchased new meat probes as one quit working off warranty but the unit has otherwise worked flawlessly. The touchpad is a bit finnicky at times and wish it was Bluetooth ready or an upgrade to do so so you could run it from your smart phone. But as it is 5 star on service and 5 star on this unit. Sorry to hear you had problems.

Just as information that once you open it up you void the warranty my brother. I have just a bs611 and it keeps blowing the thermal fuse so it is junk lesson learned. Buy a pit boss at the minimum my friend

Same experience with POOR bradley customer support, brand new p10 and the biscuit feeder wont feed at all. Call and no answer, email and takes over 24 hours for a response that doesnt fix problem. Sorry but I expect when I pay close to 800 bucks for something and it doesn’t work the company will make it right and when I call somebody would answer the phone

The idea of the Bradley P10 smoker is good, but the technical implementation is absolute shit. I have been the unfortunate owner of this smoker for almost one year. The smoker has been working for only five months, the rest of the time is for repairs. Total unbelievable shit.

First off, had my Bradley for over 8 years and never had an issue.
Second, how do you not have or know how to use the basic functions of a multimeter? We were taught that in highschool.

@@chriskluczynski1104 Using a multimeter on electronic circuits is a no no. Where do you place your probes, and exactly what are you measuring and looking for? Voltages and currents differ at different parts of the circuits, and the battery in the ohmmeter can blow a sensitive transistor in a circuit, you need to have an understanding of the circuit and where to place the probes and use the right polarity, all electronic circuits have capacitors and coils and reading resistance can and will be difficult, even tracing current flow through the circuit you still need to know what to look for. Semiconductor circuits are a long way away from valve circuits where these meters were invaluable it's totally ridiculous to rush out and buy an ohmmeter, open up a new piece of electronics, look at it and think you can resolve the problem that you have not the first clue how it works

I studies applied physics and semiconductor electronics at university, and sitting here listening to you talk abut dissembling a four month old smoker's electronics, made me laugh. You are over the top with your complaint, no electronics firm selling electronics asks a customer to open it up and try to see what's going wrong, in fact most warn if you do, the warranty is invalidated. I own a Bradley smoker and my gripe is the poor low wattage element, that blows after 6 uses, and fails miserably in maintaining heat, but your gripe is not only silly but unbelievable, why did you not trigger your warranty and threaten legal action, instead of opening it up and making a lame video about thin metal sheeting, something just does not ring true here

Hugh, you are 100% wrong. Bradley does expect you to go through all the machinations of disassembly and trouble shooting yourself. I you read their warrantly disclaimer, it doesnt cover any labor for repair. All they do is supply parts. I have owned my P10 smoker for about 1 1/2 years and had to repair it twice under warranty. Once for failed heating elements and the other time was the heating sensor for the biscuit burner. Now today, I had to cancel a planned Sunday barbeque because the heating elements are tripping out my breaker. For what you pay, reliability is shite. Perhaps as someone suggested 2021 is a bad year for the P10 model.
I did try hitting it with my wife's purse but that didnt work either ...........
