Notice the activities many of us enjoyed as children are coming back in our lives as adults as stress relief and even fitness? Trampoline/rebounder, jumping rope, roller skating, coloring, dancing and hula hoops. I'm here for it. This lady is skilled with her rope. 😊
Hula hooping is the best!!!
Can't forget bike riding I am 39 and I love bike riding
Before everyone became addicted to their phones
I thought those were condoms
Yes or Pogo stick.
I’ve been following Lauren for about a year now. She’s gotten better and better over time. I love her attitude and her smile is infectious.
Am shocked she only started in covid
I thought this was going to be lame but she is a boss with the rope
But you've only been stalking, I mean following her for 1 year on this 2 year old comment 🤔
Everyone who grew up in the 90s and had the traveling jump rope team perform, knew. This is amazing though.
Lmfao! Those guys really got around…
My thoughts exactly!
Those in the 50s -70s already knew it.
Now been watching Lauren for two years as the progress she’s made.. incredible talent and determination.. 💯🇺🇸😎🌎
Why the America flag?
She’s British 🇬🇧
Impressive! I've been jump roping for 20+ years and I still can't do many of her moves. It takes time and dedication to master those jump roping skills.
Agreed! I started jumping rope in late 2019, before the pandemic was A Thing, and realized that I am totally into freestyle jump roping. It is so fun, esp. when you start to "get" one of the harder tricks. I've only recently started catching mic releases by the handle...after trying and failing for over 6 months. It was a totally sweet thing (but I still can't toe catch them yet). Check out Nate K-G's tutorial on the mic release to give it a try - it's totally worth it 👍🏻.
Facts
@olivia young same here, I jump 5000 daily and can do just 1 double under due to overweight. I am overweight by 25kgs hoping to lose by jumping rope.
@D,
Lauren Jumps tells us she started in 2020.
@@akshaydhamale6321 jumping rope is one of the best exercises.. imagine doing it for fun and then gav 🤦🏾♀️ the added addition of Weight loss 😉
This video got me pulling out my old Double Dutch films with my team from the 80 and 90s. The things we did on point and on rhythm in those two ropes we learned ourselves practicing on the sidewalk. Two 3 at a time, jump out the next 2 or 3 jump in without missing a beat. My Cousin was the best, she would hand stand back flip, push up and jump with her hands. Oh the memories. We still double dutch at times at 50 and 51 . Jumping rope is great exercise.
Jump with her hands🙄
Love this! Anyone remember Jumprope for Heart back in the day 😂
Girl I do !
Yessss
I remember that!!!
Yes
Yes!
In the 90s, I was on a jump rope team called the Arizona Skippers. We would do a lot of routines and perform at different schools. Jump roping is so much fun 🙂
Can you do the mic drop?
*rope jumping
@@greglinski2208 Why are you correcting me? We call it jump rope.
@@jaimereynolds258 ok fine jumping rope then, but not jump roping 😂😂
@@greglinski2208 😂😂😂 Yeah guess that does sound wrong
Lauren is amazing! She almost makes me want to learn, almost. I'll probably just keep watching her do it.
You’re athleticism is undeniable…truly epic performance
Wow, she makes it look easy. The last time I jumped rope I had a near death experience.
🤣🤣🤣Omg!
What you mean?
She is amazingly good. Never thought so many tricks could be done with a jump rope. Her feet are moving really fast.
Such a positive role model.
I love seeing the practise clips cuz people need to know you have to work at it to get it right and for us to see and appreciate the end result of your hard work. I love it and I will keep on practicing.
Such gross comments! She’s beautiful and very coordinated. Built like an athlete.
I don't see any negative comments about this lady. What "gross" comments are you seeing?
@@heyyall5651 I wrote that a week ago and about the first 10 comments were negative and one disgusting one. I don’t know if they got reported or pushed down to the bottom. The third or forth comment down also mentions the negative comments.
@@heyyall5651 Try to scroll down as far as you could. The comments were either about her body, her vagina or about her race.
@@heyyall5651 Mostly racist comments about how this white woman is appopriating black culture and doing double Dutch is racist unless you're blk.. Ya know.. Same ole shyt🙄😂🍹
@@jille5458 I wouldn't be surprised if it was written by youtube ambassadors hired as trolls to keep racism alive. Sometimes I find it hard to believe people will say such things.
how wonderfully extraordinary that Lauren has found a way to share a passion and touch and inspire so many people. I may never jump rope, but I'll never forget the dozens of fantastic shorts Lauren has created.
Watching Lauren from then until now is a pleasure to behold.
She is incredible..
Little girls in the hood been doing this. 💜all the fun games you can play in the hood.💜
Bruh...little blk girls Been jump rope bosses.....i.mean acrobatic, singing dancing, double Dutch legends. Uuum why everything so cool cuz someone else finally caught up? Isj blk girls do it for years and nada....another girl do it and its literally HEADLINE NEWS lmfao......I guess...
Not just the hood.... black girls from good neighborhoods too. 💯
Shuffling/cutting shapes mixed with jump rope. Killin it girl!
I started my jumping journey a week ago. She's such an inspirational role model to me
Best of luck to you
@@gracedicken8708 thank you!
Why? It’s a jump rope. Do you follow the paint drying channel too?
This is what we did in the 90's, also dubble dutch
Thank you, we did this and so much more...we can teach her a trick or two as well.
Wow! That is so impressive! Even better, she showed us that she learned this rather than being a natural, so beginners should not be discouraged when they find new techniques take time to learn.
She is just awesome...how fantastic !!!
Looking at her body, you can tell she clocked weeks and even months into getting to that level.
Big fan of Lauren’s it’s amazing how much she has progressed in the few years since covid. I love seeing her at the beginning of the journey to now. And how much trimmer and fit she’s become. Happy for her, she’s a beast with a jump rope.
It's amazing how the brain can adapt itself to allow the body to perform acts that require such skill. I hope I worded that correctly.
That was 🔥! She has mad skills!
Shout out to the Beats headphone that are somehow glued to her head even after jumping hundreds of times.
Wow. She's amazing.
You inspired me to start, Lauren! Great job!!!
This chick’s page comes up on my feed. She’s a badass 💯
Glad they did a little piece on her. 🙌🏻

BRILLIANT!
Go girl!!! Great skill and beautiful bod!❤️
excelente energía y entusiasmo
She is definitely genuinely happy
You always brighten my day. Positive attitude and hard work shows there are no limits unless we put them on ourselves. Well done!
Well done young lady ! You are a master at your craft, no doubt. As a child in the 60's growing up in Dublin, skipping was a fantastic and everyday 'street game' for large groups of especially, young girls to play. 1 long rope, rotated by 2 children that were 'on' and the other children would jump in , skip several times and then 'jump out' making way for the next child and all the while singing 'skipping songs' . I can still remember some of them. If a kid tripped the rope then they were 'on' and had to take their turn at rotating the rope. Its a pity children have lost these simple passtimes today and instead rely on phones for much of their social interactions.
I've recently got back into jumping rope. Trying to find all fun things to get fit. Then my kids had jump rope for heart and I was showing them how we used to do it back in the day. I honestly impressed myself and them with how I still got it! Minus the knees for it.🤪 But I've been having so much fun along with the hula hoop 😉
She's fit! 😻
This is amazing to watch!!
SEI STUPENDA!!! SUPERRRR!!!!
Very inspiring!🤩
Awesome. Always puts a smile on my face.
Lauren rules🤘
