  • This video follows the process of creating a simple, functional and sustainable bridge crossing for the ATV (and people, ducks and sheep it would seem!) using harvested materials.

Mr. Waterson, you possess an uncanny hability to use resources at hand and transform them into a functional, structurally solid, work of art. Binge watching from the beginning. Congratulations on your purchase of a piece of paradise. Looking forward to see whatever projects you come up with. We viewers will be delighted!

Thank you for your kind words, much appreciated. This piece of land is quite remarkable and should keep me busy for the next 10-20 years!

Thanks. It’s working remarkably well, even through the storm that passed through yesterday causing the stream to swell significantly. It’ll probably last 2-3 years, so the clock is ticking for me to build a more permanent replacement.

Thanks so much 🙏. There’s certainly a lot of work to do around the place to get it to the beautiful home status, but it’s a delightful location!

I just came across your channel and love your videos for the artistic quality that you put in. Also, your tenacity skills and design. I’m sure with time you will grow your membership as your content is as good if not better than some of the more mainstream fixerupper channels. I’ll be interested to know a bit more about your background as to where you learn all your skills and also what part of the world are you in anyhow keep up the great work I binge watch all your videos

Thanks for the compliment it’s very much appreciated, and glad you found the channel- welcome! The channel is quite new so I’m hopeful you’re right about the growing subscription base! I love designing and building pretty much anything and for the most part I’m self taught. I completed an engineering apprenticeship and since have been involved in project management, cabinet making, engineering design work and for the past 20 years I’ve been heading up a high school Design Technology department. I plan on putting together an introductory video for the channel at some point, which will cover in more detail some of the skill-set and potential projects you’ll see on the channel.
