Ohh this had me giddy all morning, thank you so much!~ I do feel like I kinda stole Scar's well-deserved spotlight by us incidentally splitting the sheet when we did, most of the info relevant to this video was already available on her sheet prior to the split so I'm giving her an extra special shoutout down here!~🖤 Hoping there might be another video going over food, mead and/or fishing progression to give it back to her, but no pressure :> Also, this comment section's already reminded me to add a couple things to the sheet, so thank you for the exposure and happy holidays!~
@wintermoon_witch it just so happened the topic of the video was comfort and the inception of the idea was prior to the split into to sheets. Nice video Spazzy! But I do think your moving a little to fast in it, I felt like sometimes I was watching in 1.5x speed. It’s fine for someone like me cause I already know everything about comfort in the game. You might want to consider for the future slowing down your videos that contain this much information. Keep up the great work!
Hi Spazzy ! Nice vid as usual :) However just one small mistake I noticed : for banners and rugs, the ones from dvergr and mountain caves DO NOT CONTRIBUTE to confort level..! So basically, only the rugs using animal fur gives the confort point, and the banners using only tissue (red/blue jutes) do not give confort points neither... I discovered this the hard way by building a new confort room and not finding why I was missing 2 confort points even with those on sight ahah, took me quite some time to understand ! Note : I will have to double check for the rugs. For the banners this is still explicitely writen also on the wiki, but I do not find the same for rugs so maybe the devs updated it since then..!
good catch! you're right about the banners! I do believe the jute rugs still provide comfort which is backed up by the wiki. I guess curtains are different than banners haha
The rugs have always contributed to comfort, it was one of the first things I tested when the update went into public testing, but thank you for pointing that out!~ I added a note to the Quick Comfort Reference to clarify that curtains and drapes aren't part of the banner category, since that part of the sheet just says "Any banner" and curtains sure *look* like banners (The detailed list below did already show them separately thankfully, and without any comfort on curtains and drapes)
Pretty sure it didn't, yea. It was however always pretty useful for being a very fuel-efficient light source with a higher fuel capacity (6) without costing metal, getting 5 hours and 33 minutes out of one piece of resin (just like sconces and iron torches) as opposed to the wooden standing torch's 2 hours and 46 minutes~

If you want to know the maximum comfort level on a biome, just look it up on the "comfort" article on the valheim wiki. Way more readable.
