- In the last video I talked about the Nocfree keyboard, here I talk about how I prepare for that video using Logseq to collect my notes, do research, organize it in the tool. This is my day to day work.

Very nice to see a real utilisation for Logseq, thanks. At the and of the video you talk about the paperless movement but I can't see the link you are talking about.
Have a good day.
Yeah, I had to remove the link because they stopped the expert program. But you can search for paperless movement and should be first hit.
@@toolsontech Thanks !
Man you‘re awesome! Keep it up!
Always great to hear, thanks for the vote of confidence!
Another great video Bas. Thanks for showing us how you work. I've been resisting consciously incorporating a todo app into my flow. Your use of 2doist makes sense. There is an rapid interface to the real world that Logseq doesn't provide. I'm on Apple so it's easy to just use their reminders which integrate with my no-apple calendar app. Would save me brain damage to just transfer, or start with the appropriate tasks in Reminders than not manage them or try to use Logseq for them.
Yeah, while I try to minimize the amount of apps some benefits are just too great. I do use task management in Logseq but mostly for things I want to process inside Logseq. (Like findings or ideas), keeps it nice and tidy.
What do you think about the use of namespaces in order to organizing the project for video, blog articols and other stuff?
I use it, but mostly as an alias as it allows me to put topics into multiple data structures. So for example, the nocfree keyboard is in the page Nocfree and has an alias Keyboards/Mechanical/Nocfree and Keyboard/Split/Nocfree
@@toolsontech woooowww, I didn't think about using namespaces as alias: that's very interesting, it's like to have different names for the same topics
Would you mind sharing the theme you are using from this video? its amazing
Mostly use default theme with accent color, next to that I have a few simple CSS tricks to make bold text orange and my default queries have emoji in front of them.
Get this question a lot, so might need to make a page/video about it
Nice video as always!
What's the theme you are using?
Thanks, always great to hear. Theme is mostly the default with a few small tweaks like turning bold and italic into different colors for quick skimming the highlights.
Thanks for this video! "instead of working against Logseq I should work with it" - that is a good statement, I keep this quote in my brain for future reference. It made me think again about my own workflow. As of today having a TOC view is a mandatory requirement, and this - so far - prevented me from using Logseq as much as I wanted. Maybe I should rethink this. (Ah, and if I may say it: For me the background music is too loud. It made it difficult to follow you because it constantly distracted me from your actual content, especially when you also talk very fast. ;-))
I'm currently prepping for a "Logseq is different" where I try and make more of those points.
As for the feedback, yeah something went wrong with my template it seems, volume of the music should be low. I'll do a double check and if I can't find a good reason I'll just remove it from there and do it by hand again. Talking slower is constantly on my improvement list, keep reminding myself, this is not a Tiktok crowd, people watch to understand.
Thanks for watching, it's always appreciated!
