Made this last night and had it set overnight. Absolutely delicious & super easy to make. Thanks for the recipe and for keeping the videos short and to the point.
I love making that ganache but instead of sugar and vanilla, I mix in some kahlua / brandy / any other liquor that goes well with dark chocolate. Won't be as sweet but tastes absolutely delicious.
@@ChefJackOvens it’s absolutely delicious Jack, a definite winner for sure 🤎 thank you, I can see this being a hit at future family get togethers 🤗😊 P.s. I actually used dark chocolate buttons that I had in my pantry. The only thing I was missing was the strawberries but everything else I had 👍🏼
Man this looks so good I’m just not the biggest fan of dark chocolate, in that case would you recommended using milk chocolate or would that be too sweet? Maybe I could add more sugar to the cream and vanilla? Cheers
Do you think I could make this as a mini ganache cake using small muffin tins? (Then no one would get hurt like that if we split the cake with a knife like that)
Hey Jack love the channel! I've made this successfully my first try, but then the second and third tries have not been as successful. Any idea what could have gone wrong? The chocolate seemed to seize up and the butter seemed separated and would not combine. I tried using nicer chocolate as the first time I used Hershey but that was the only successful run.
Yes i have had a similar thing happen to me, the Cream and the Choclate have combined , but the melted butter has not played, and just floated to the the surface , and ideas what ive done worng ?
New sub! Love your cooking! Im looking for a recipe.....Pork fillet stuffed with brie and wrapped with bacon. Could you show us how? Much love from a South African living in The Netherlands
I am not sure where I went wrong, but I blended 275g of Oreos, they came out a bit more moist than on your video, then added 100g of melted butter and my base is fully liquid! They are not Oreos with extra filling etc, simple originals! I've put the mix in the fridge, hopefully it will thicken up after a few mins! :(
It shouldn’t be liquid at all. That’s very strange. All the weights are exactly what I used. If the mix is wet let it sit in the fridge for a few hours. The butter will solidly and hold the base together
Making this today with vegan cream, ginger snaps, top notch vegan chocolate, plant based butter, for my dairy free (not by choice) daughter 👌. Thank you for the video I watched this week. 😋💫
Well you can of course. Don’t tell us what to do. It’s only food and entertainment here. Not politics. Choose another video to support your cause. People need a break sometimes from doom and gloom for their mental health. Please understand. Thank you

This looks so simple yet very fancy. Might have to do this for a plate to take to a dinner party. Thank you Chef Jack
Its 6:50 in the morning here in California, but I could still eat a slice of that right now! 😋
Haha the perfect brekky
Thank you. My birthday is next week, and I’m making this for myself

That would be really good 👍
Long time no seeing desserts, Jack. Looks amazing and I'll try!
Please enjoy
Love the recipe will definitely be making it this weekend.
Please enjoy
Just finished making this! 😋 we’re definitely looking forward to desert tonight for sure 🤎
Let me know how you go. You’ll love it

This is simply melting 🫠
It sure is. It’s so good
Have you thought about doing a dessert meal prep? :D Just an idea.
You are doing an amazing job. Thank you !
Hello Chef Jack - where can I get this jar/carafe 1:55 ? I really enjoy your recipes, very simple and easy to make.
At first I read the title as "the no bake tart you MUST bake" and had big confuse for a minute
Haha
The idea sounds interesting though. Like it could be a no-bake recipe that tastes better if you bake it. I would do it.
Haha! That’s what I initially saw too
OH WOW!! I am drooling! What else can we use the ganache for chef?
😅oh definitely making this weekend 🤎
Ah! Chocolate my favorite! 🎉
Looks good. 👍💜
Man this looks so good I’m just not the biggest fan of dark chocolate, in that case would you recommended using milk chocolate or would that be too sweet? Maybe I could add more sugar to the cream and vanilla? Cheers
The cream is enough to mellow it. The ganache doesnt taste like dark chocolate. It tastes more like milk chocolate
@@ChefJackOvens oh ok thanks I’ll definitely do this full recipe then 👍
I had the same question. I'm also not a fan of dark chocolate and thought what if I used semi sweet chocolate. Maybe leave out the sugar or less.
Please make a protein brownie recipe
Beautiful! 🎉
sir, you are my inspiration, love your videos!!
Much love. Thank you 🙏
Me too😊
@@ChefJackOvens you're welcome 😁 ✨.
That looks delicious!!
I was wondering if there is any alternative to the thickened cream? How will using whole milk affect this?
Yummy Jack! I do lots of desserts ❤👍🇬🇧
I don’t make them enough
@@ChefJackOvensI do breads too. Some basic loaf and roll recipes may go down well on the channel mate 👍🇬🇧
Not really fair to make this piece of deliciousness. I am totally unable to have just 1 piece. My goodness, looks amazing. Thanks Jack. X
It’s so good hard to just have 1 slice haha
Hi Jack what kind of chocolate percentage did u use...semi sweet or bittersweet??
Awesome recipe! Thanks. How long does this last for? Two three... four days in fridge?
I need this
wow!
You had me at decadent and I'm here for it! 😋😋😋
Haha
Heya would you guys recommend putting Kahlua in as well? If so, do i remove the sugar and how much Kahlua do i use? Thanks!
can you store this in freezer? and bring it out as needed?
Yep
Can I ask about your gas stove top? What brand is it please I wish to purchase one.
Have to make this. 😋 Thank you for the recipe! 🙂 Would a spring form work? If you cut around the edge before removing it?
Spring form will work. Just be gentle with it as the crumb is delicate. I recommend definitely leaving it in the fridge overnight to set in that case
@@ChefJackOvens Okay, thank you very much! 🙂

You could definitely do that

You had me at chef
What can I use instead of Caster?
Regular sugar
👍
My thoughts are, Chef send me that plate over😂😋😋 that is chocolate heaven 🥰
Haha if only! It’s such delicious tart

@@ChefJackOvens Thank you chef! I left it in the fridge for 15-20 mins and it worked fine, it was probably the best tart I have ever eaten, honeslty!
hey! sous chef plant ovens!
16 portions! Yeah that’s going to happen, I’m not sharing that one.
Haha
"1 1/2 Tbsp - Caster (Fine) Sugar egg" - Egg ?
Yeah sorry about that haha that’s all fixed. Not sure why egg was there. Autocorrect doing its thing as usual
Made this Tart last night (no egg ;) ) and it was absolutely delicious - THANK you ! @@ChefJackOvens
Haha perfect! Great to hear
Don't tell me what to do.

Boycott Oreo, it supports Israel
