- The chocolate tart recipe (20cm tart mold)
The base:
12 digestive cookies
6 tbsp (90ml) melted butter
The filling:
200g chocolate
180ml (3/4 cup) heavy cream
3 tbsp sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1 tsp coffee powder
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
The chocolate glaze:
2 gelatine sheets (3g)
2 tbsp water
3 tbsp heavy cream
4 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp cocoa powder

These days, I find so many store bought cookies are oversweetened and the ones for diabetics leave a chemical aftertaste. I would prefer just to make a batch at home, reducing the sugar by at least one third of what's called for. The chocolate tart looks wonderful.

@@HelloKitty-ez5cv ....no, I haven't bec these vids are mainly for my viewing enjoyment. I can say that there is a chemistry involved with the fat content of the chocolate, the heavy cream and the butter, whose proportions will affect the texture of the set up filling. Fine Cooking Magazine online has an article on this very topic.
My advice is to Google no bake chocolate ganache tart, then read the feedback of people who've actually made it. I looked on Bon Appetit's website and found complaints about a runny filling never setting up. That's a highly respected magazine with excellent recipe testing or so I thought. If possible, a test tart would be a good idea so you can tweak the recipe first. If not, find the recipe you feel most comfortable with and take your time putting it together. Could I ask why you chose to use raw sugar crystals for the filling but then fine white sugar for the glaze ?
For the extra glossy but I guess you can also use raw sugar if you like to 😊
