The sound of the chirping from the firefighters is so terribly sad. I’ve heard other 9/11 survivors talk about it, but I never heard the sound before. It’s overwhelming.
He may not feel he was a true hero saving his friends life, but there are so many people who might not have stayed with their slower moving friend but they did. They didn't just pass him off to police or fire services they stayed with their friend and made sure he lived, because he couldn't have saved himself. That is true heroism. That is true strength and one of the greatest forms of humanity. I just hope that God forbid I find myself in such a horrible position that I too would have the strength to push my fear away and help someone who needed me. I like to think I would, but until we find ourselves in that situation we can't really know what we would truly do.
I looked up the evacu-chair. Amazing that they were able to get it down all those flights. Thank you for sharing these incredible accounts. We need to hear them.
Those people. The citizens. So brave and honorable. Immediately went to their friend. Not taking from the first responders. These folks could have saved their own butts but didn’t.
YES IT IS "HARD TO BELIEVE." That 220 stories of combined skyscrapers plus the other 5 WTC buildings were reduced to dust, and a pile that wasn't taller than the lobby. Very hard to believe the official narrative. Every September I go back to the videos about 9/11 on UA-cam, (lots have been removed), and become angry again. My heart breaks for every single person who experienced it first hand, and to the families of those lost. 19 years later, still no answers.

Thank you for recording and posting these stories. ❤
You can hear the pain and sadness in Dan's voice.
I really enjoyed this. Thank you gentleman for sharing your stories.

Team John: you’re heroes. You are what humankind should be about.

The stairs of the new tower her twice as wide this way it’s easier for people and chairs and emergency service has their own dedicated stairway
I've listened to peters story many times and i always like listening to him
God bless America and bless the survivors and also the lost of lives but never forgotten 9/11
So sorry you had to go thru that Dan. I’m glad you survived and shared your story.
2021 NZ...Always Remembered....💞✌🙏
so strong, real men here
I always think if they left their fellow employee with the police officers, I doubt think he would have made it out in time
Humanity won too... Wow. What a finish
the jumpers who had their arms straight out
we're trying to fly
and i can't blame em
because i woulda been trying to fly too

10-12 seconds is free fall speed.110 stories 1 second a story=110 seconds= 1 minute and 50 seconds
Omg. 😔
Why is a Con Ed employee wearing a FDNY hat? Confusing??? Wouldn’t you wear a Con ED hat?
343 NYC Firefighters died that day. No doubt he is wearing it in honor of them. He was a NYC firefighter for over 20 years before Con Ed career.

The Judith Poochie show ...sorry but she just gets on my nerves
I thought I was the only one.
Exactly my thoughts. She’s the head honcho and by God doesn’t she like people to know.
