Lovely May! For those of you in the U.S. here are the rough conversions: 300 cm = 9.84 feet @12 cords = 118.08 feet 130 cm = 4.27 feet @ 16 cords = 68.32 feet 100 cm = 3.28 feet @ 1 cord = 3.28 feet = 189.68 feet OR 63.23 yards total for this project.

Glad I added extra length to cord, as some were too short to braid in the end. I just 350cm and 160 cm cords. Also, are there any tips on how to keep the top of the hanger flat? It rolls with the weight of a pot. Great tutorial, thanks
I want to thank the universe for ppl like you! You’re right! I never thought about that fact that it rolls with the weight of the pot! And thank you for being more accurate on the lengths. I had tried few other tutorials on UA-cam of others and in many of them- it was never accurate! What a waste of expensive materials it was! Since those moments- I got really disappointed from the tutorials for plant hangers so now I’m not going to even try this one. It looks very pretty but apparently it won’t work well in ‘real life’ 😆😅 Thank you for helping me (and probably many others) to prevent wasting materials on an unrealistic tutorials. 🙏🏼👌🏼
This is really beautiful! I noticed though, that the first set of knots you attached to your first squares head knot are not larks head knots but cows hitch knots, a larks head in reverse.

Hi there! Thanks for the wonderful tutorial. This is my very first project, and it looks pretty good! I haven't yet tied off under the pot, I have found that the rope that hangs beneath the pot is all different lengths, the ones at the front are very short. I'm not sure where I went wrong or how to braid with these little bits in the way? Any advice?
Isn't the width of the cord thicker than 4mm? Or isn't the spacing between knots wide? When I made it, the lengths of the cords that hangs beneath the pot were different, too. In the process of finishing, I cut them to the same length and arranged.❤️❤️
Love this wall pocket plant hanger! Perhaps you should begin the video with the size of pot though. And the finished size of the piece once completed. This way people will know if this is a size that will work for them and the pot or plant they have.

Obrigada!! Consegui fazer foi meu primeiro macrame , usei barbante 24 fios sobrou material acho que deve dar para fazer uns 3. Dicas: se for usar barbante use uma fita na ponta do barbante para não desfiar muito, A parte mais difícil foi o nó, para fechar o trabalho se tiver ajuda em casa sera melhor, Os fios no final ficam desiguais e para igualar tem que cortar bastante, então para quem pensa fazer para comércio tem que verificar isso.
