Great tutorial, thank you! This was challenging and fun to make. The only suggestion that I would make for someone following along is that when you do your spiral knot “ropes” that you make one side of each of the cords (the outside pieces) you attach to the dowel quite a bit longer rather than folding in half on both sides. Since you will be using the same two pieces of cord to do your half-squares all the way down, you need to account for how much more you’re going to use; otherwise those pieces are too short to join with the other sections to finish the piece. I didn’t think to do that, so now I’m having to “graft” on cords at the bottom to make them long enough.
