i was in the same boat but i realized i needed to know actual stoichiometry first, and i learned that several chapters ago. i watched another stoichiometry video and then watched this and i made sense
@@CrtnyNicole because you don't pay attention in class. I have seen chemistry teachers again and again teaching this exact same thing. Kids who pay attention get it. Chemistry teachers all do this the exact same way.
I am 54 years old finishing my Bachelors in nursing (after this class). After not having chemistry for 35 years I had a lot of catching up to do. My class is 7 weeks long, and that's a lot of information! Thanks so much for making it easy. You are amazing!
Wow Cathey! Thank you so much, I'm so happy you Chemistry is making sense and congrats on finishing up your Bachelors in nursing that's such a rewarding career 🎉
I attend a prestigious university that also comes with a price ticket that leaves no room to pay for tutoring! You have made everything so easy for me. You have little tricks and make things so clear that I have suggested your videos and never had a complaint! Thank you so much !!!
You are an amazing teacher. I sit in an hour and a half lecture walk away knowing very little then I watch your video for six minutes and completely understand the concept
It makes total sense with only 7 minutes of watching, something that professors make so boring. Hopefully someday I'll be able to be in your shoes teach it or know chemistry like the palm of my hand! Thank you for all your hard work. Really appreciated!!
you're literally a better teacher than my college chem professor. he spent a full week explaining concentration and your 8 minute video made it make more sense than he ever did
No college professor spends a whole week explaining concentration. That is nonsense. If you can't get that concentration is mols per L, like speed is miles per hour, you need a brain check.

You are an amazing teacher. I feel bad that you don't get enough recognition. You could be a professor teaching Chemistry. I loved your story of how you failed Chemistry but that didn't stop you. Never giving up and believing in yourself is key to success!
Thank you for teaching me chemistry! My prof just glosses over the topics and he teaches as if we already have a full understanding of these topics. I would have never passed chem without you!!
You are AMAZING!!!! My prayers have been heard you made the exact video I needed THANK YOU!!!!! You are so sweet and calm which is great for learning :))))))
I actually don't do private tutoring but I do have weekly LIVE tutoring sessions on UA-cam where I answer questions that students ask me on twitter that week. So if you would like a chance to get your question answered, you can tweet me @hellomelissam and use the hashtag #askmelissamaribel and that Sunday at 12PM PST I will be answering questions.
I absolutely loved the way you explained the lesson and the practice problem in your description box was brilliant. It helped me a lot and I thought it was worth mentioning that this video helped me so much. Thanks!!!
I literally have a quiz coming up regarding titration and was unsure how to go about starting it, hoping this helps because it made it easier to understand, thank you!
Woooow! I really appreciate your help, thank you for your hard work and dedication, you’re a really good teacher, I’m late studying for my final exam in the AM and I feel way more confident! 🙏🏾

Thank you so much! I love how you broke down exactly what the equations is asking and why. This helped tremendously. Now when I look at these type of equations I know what they are asking to be solved and why! Again, thanks!!!!!
why can't my professors teach like this? so many long winded lectures that amount to "whomp, whomp". In 7 minutes you do what they couldn"t in 3 lectures. My college needs YOU!
This is such an awesome video and a great explanation. I didn't remember anything about molarity and I had to tutor a student today so this was super helpful. Thanks!
i usually never comment on videos, but i just wanted to say that i have a molarity test tomorrow along with two other subject tests, and I’ve only just started at 10:35 pm lol. Your videos are an absolute lifesaver and i always rely on them to do a way better job than my teacher does. Thanks Melissa :)
she is absolutely wonderful! By far better than my teacher. My only wish is that the videos were numbered like chapters in the book. Would make them easier to find and follow with the semester.
You know, I've been using your videos to learn chemistry this term and after this video, I was like "She's practically my teacher why am I not subscribed to her". So thank you for all your incredible content, and of course, I subscribed to you (:

Thank you so much!!! I had to watch several times since I'm a slow learner but this is so much easier to understand and i have a test tomorrow so wish me luck and THANK YOU!🤗
So for your second sample problem you divided by 2 to solve for HO2SO4 because of the balance of the equation. Ooohh, even without your voice i learn. Great chemistry! 💙

I actually followed the math with my calculator and paper your numbers are wrong but your answer is right. Please revise that step 1 answer should be 0.0375 moles of NaOH. Step 2 should be 2.85 L NaOH. Dividing them would give you a sig fig answer of 0.0132.
