The thing about the Beis is it is actually outside of the carry on bag size allowance. Beis is brutal for making this bag and promoting it as a carry on when it is not regulation size.
girl I feel for you.. the amount of times they've taken my carry on from me at the gate and I've gotten into fights with the staff saying you can't take my bag is ridiculous lol. Thankfully they found ur bag!! My tip is they usually always take ur bag at the gate if you're boarding near the end. I always try to get on right after business class and they don't take it! They start pulling the bags when the flight is almost fully boarded. Another tip is, if they say they have to take ur bag / they usually say put ur bag to the side, I will let them, then I go grab my bag and rip off the baggage tag and I take it with me LOL

I paid just like everyone else to have my carry on with me. So instead of arguing with her, I allowed her to tag my carry on and then when I walked towards the plane I ripped it off lmao. My friend checked hers and had to wait TWO hours until 3am to get hers back. Noway Jose.
I've had the Calpak luggage and it broke easily but I do like their packing cubes and bags. I invested in the Away luggage set when they had a sale and it's the best. I got the bigger carry on and the large to check in. They are very durable, well made, and they have a lifetime warranty.
I have the Beis carry on and I also fly from Toronto and yes I had an issue when I went to Europe as they made me try to fit it into the carry-on compartment and of course it does not fit..... However, I went to Japan and Korea with the same Beis carry on and all was good.
Hey girlie! I've taken the Away carry on with me on at least 50 domestic/international flights, and have never gotten it taken from me! My boyfriend uses the Monos carry on and did get it taken away some of those same flights haha. So I'd def recommend the Away one :)
There is an international carry on and a domestic carry on- you have to go the smaller route unfortunately. I am an AWAY fan through and through. I have them in every size and have for years. I donated my Tumi when I got the AWAY, it is the best.

I have PMDD which stands for pre menstrual dysphoric disorder . Two weeks before I get all the symptoms super anxious , easily annoyed just mood swings in general and unfortunately an appetite of 5 teenage boys combined. But once my period arrives I’m normal again for two weeks and then back at it agin 😅
I have a Samsonite bag that is the same size as the Beis and I've never had an issue on a transoceanic flight, but I did have to get it checked when flying in Europe almost every time. Some of these bags are not made taking into consideration the sizing guidelines for short haul flights. The reality is that just because the bag is labeled as a carry-on by the brand making it, really doesn't mean that it will fit the standards of all airlines.
I just came back from Italy, I flow to Rome with Delta then to Sicily with ITA and and used the Quince 21 inch suite case and it perfect for the international flight to Italy and the domestic flight from Rome to Palermo. The suit case was dragged all over Italy and held up.
I had an issue even with checking in my luggage just recently 😩 Rome was a mess. Theur luggage belt paused for a collective 30 mins on and off it seems and they said they would handle it and get our lugagges on the flight. Handle it my butt! My friends got on, and they forgot mine in Rome. They had an entire list of luggages that were left behind. The airport was a mess but the airline itself, ITA airways, was good. I was pleasantly surprised the food was great! I was disappointed in air France for having shitty food. My friend who isn't picky, couldn't even eat the food. 😅 I've flown with Away luggage and never had an issue. I find them very durable and easy going to use. I appreciate their lifetime warranty too. Away also has the two carry on sizes and I was warned the larger one may not fit regulations so, I chose the smaller one which I can still fit a lot in. The colours they have are beautiful too.

100% true! Always always always check the airline guidelines before your flights for sizing and weight. They differ even slightly.
