it is, i love music and i've been listening to all sorts all my life, and this album more than any other, changed my life, Oasis hit me like a ton of bricks, i learned to play guitar because of Noel, first song i learned was wonderwall... and i think it's safe to say, many others could say the same, Oasis were the last great band
It is,along with Be Here Now,Definetly Maybe,Heathen Chemistry,Standing On The Shoulders Of Giants,Different Gear Still Speeding,BE,As You Were and C`mon You Know
Noel summed it up best with "That song is so long, and I often find myself drifting off enjoying the song and thinking, ‘What f***ng does it mean?’ “You know, ‘Walking down the hall faster than a cannonball' - What the f*** is all that about? And I should know, ’cause I wrote it, and I haven’t got a clue." 🤣
Bring It On Down and The Turning would be great to check out too! Only just found out about this channel so Im here for it! Oh and morning glory is a must listen its such an amazing song
i've always read the champagne in this to be a reference to pink champagne, a really nasty speed. smelled like cats piss. someone once told me. occifer. great reaction ;)
If you really want to know what the songs all about their is a conspiracy theory called the masterplan conspiracy which explains the meaning from the collection of all the songs on the album plus b sides; all in an hour long mega watch.
Champagne Supernova is about two people in love that for situational reasons can't be together, but one day they may both meet again in heaven, where they will live in internal bliss.
@@dantastic6262 I'm telling ya, Noel Gallagher is a poet, you can see it in his writing. He doesn't show this side of himself outside of his music, but if you piece together what was going on in his life at the time he wrote his songs from interviews and mostly autobiography accounts of people who were there, you can figure it out.
@@Wonega We all have our interpretations and that’s one of the most appealing things about Noel’s songwriting. So I’m not gonna claim yours is wrong or mine is right, but it sounds just like he’d been up all night on mushrooms to me 😂
He was talking about his estranged dad. ‘Where were you when we were getting high’? Clearly talking about his dad who wasn’t around when they grew up when they started to take drugs. They never had a father figure to keep them on the straight and narrow. Quite sad really.
No matter what anyone tells you, the lyrics have no real meaning. Noel was probably off his head when he wrote this, and he has no idea either. It means what you want it to mean.
You reacted to Gorillaz a few months a go, the front man use to be in a band named "Blur" competing with Oasis for King of Brit Pop (Oasis is King). Try, Blur song 2, it`s a bit of joke song for them, think it started as a joke on US Grunge, but became one of their biggest hits.
In my opinion. This is one of the greatest records ever made.
One of the greatest bands of all time.

Great band, great songs, but my ears always sigh and go Ahhhhh when an Oasis song finishes 😂
I second the commenter who said you can see Liam doing the Vince-walk on the video for ‘Who Feels Love?’
I love these reactions to oasis on your channel 🤟
Takes me back to my teenage years
I used to get high as balls with my mates out camping in random fields when I was like 15 to this song lol
Bring It On Down and The Turning would be great to check out too! Only just found out about this channel so Im here for it!

You really need to do more Oasis. There’s loads your missing. Rock n roll star , don’t look back in anger , supersonic ….. and then go from there.

HELP is also a nod to the Beatles
In astronomy a Champagne Supernova is actually a type of supernova.
No kidding? Lol
That walk came from Popeye
How many special people changed? How many lives have lived estranged?
All I need to get high is Oasis.

WTF? 😂

They are definitely talking about weed and other substances when they sing about getting high lol
One of their best songs if not the best. If you want to listen a great song composed by Liam, check out Songbird.

If you want to see the Liam walk, watch the Hindu Times video.
Pleaze see masterplan
