We wasted 500$ inspections on a house. We backed out because it had so many issues But I was so happy we did because on the second home we did the inspection for Had no issues and better house for a lower cost. We are still on the pending period. Hope we get our home :)
That's amazing! Aren't you happy that you spent those $500 instead of having bought a horrible house that probably would've cost you tens of thousands of dollars? To me, it sounds like spending those $500 was a blessing lol! And now you're getting a much better house. Good look with your closing! 🤗
Ok so say I did everything wrong and I got bamboozled into a really potentially scary problematic house that I didn't and couldn't notice before Moving all the way in? Which expert do I call first to check and inspect and not get taken advantage of due to my anxiety about the house already?
Hey! I'm sorry that happened to you. Inspections are something that I would never recommend skipping. In your case, you can still call a licensed and insured inspector to give you a thorough and complete inspection of your home to learn its true conditions. Most importantly, you'll want the inspector to review the 4 main components of the house, such as the roof, plumbing, HVAC system, and electrical. They should also check much more than that, but they should let you know beforehand what their full inspection includes. Good luck and let me know if there's anything else I can help you with.

My friend bought a HUD home without an inspection it was a nightmare the plumping was horrible she sold it at a huge loss.
I’m sorry to hear that about your friend! Yeah, I definitely wouldn’t suggest skipping the inspection. 😕
