UA-cam is great. I discovered Muireann about a year ago. I discovered Ger recently through Petersen Family clips. Then I find them both singing a duet together! How great is that! They both have extraordinary talent. Ger’s voice has a resonance that is very rare, which I enjoy listening to. Thank you!
Yes! I also found out about Ger through the Petersens! This is an amazing rendition. I love this song and first heard it on a CD from Dun an Doras (a Czech group that played Celtic music).
I'm such a fan of Dick Gaughan's version of this song that it was difficult at first to be receptive to anyone else's version. However, this is sublime, lovely natural voices, the arrangement, the excellent guitar work. True musicianship. Bravo

I find her voice very pleasant (as in high and full at the same time, and telling of the humanness of the singer) as I let it inhabit me while I am listening.
